Lake Shoecraft Waterfront Log Home

Wonderful cedar log home on Lake Shoecraft (next to Lake Goodwin) near Smokey point in Stanwood, WA. 3 bedrooms, 1 bath with full kitchen, wood burning stove, deck, dock, 100+ no bank beach. The home features lots of parking, beautiful views, great swimming, water skiing, water sports, and fishing. The lake is stocked every year with trout and features excellent fishing. Included in the rental is a 11 foot Columbia fiberglass boat (similar to a Boston Whaler), three kayaks, one SUP, and lots of water toys and inflatables as well as croquet and other lawn toys. I have a couple of fishing poles and some gear also but if you are a serious fly fisher you will want to bring your own (the lake is stocked with trout every spring). Two of the bedrooms have queen or king beds and the third has two sets of bunk beds. Country store is just down the road for anything you didn't bring (and has the best fishing gear) as well as an excellent restaurant, the Paddle Pub. Also short distance to Tulalip Casino and the Seattle Premium Outlet Mall in Marysville. Free high speed WIFI.

Wonderful lakefront cabin with ample space for a family with kids or a cozy getaway for two. Relax on the deck or in the hot tub or explore this beautiful lake with a kayak or paddle board.

Beautiful lakeside property. Brought my paddleboard along and enjoyed paddleboarding in the lake in the day and relaxing in the hot tub at night. Its very quiet out, which is a nice change of pace from the city.

this was our third year in a row at this place. we love it, very close to where we live. lots of water toys to enjoy. well stocked and the manager, mark was always available and very helpful .... we hope to get this place next year again....

We chose this property because of its location. Lake Shoecraft is beautiful and is a great place to enjoy water sports. The host has provided an expansive deck and hot tub to enjoy the view. As it was a bit cold and rained both days we were there (typical PNW weather), we weren’t able to enjoy the lake or hot tub. But spent a lot of time inside the vintage cabin.The cabin has its pluses and minuses. The pluses are the updates - a big screen TV, large refrigerator and comfortable beds. The minuses for us were the worn living room and kitchen furniture, and the small dated bathroom.Lastly, the host communicates well when there is a question or concern.

We have been renting this house for 8 years. The location is perfect, close to everything but still nice and private. The lake is beautiful we bring our paddleboards and water toys and play for a week.The property is set back from the road so we don’t have to worry about traffic. Living room is large and works great for scary movie nights. Wonderful having morning coffee on the deck. You will not be disappointed.

The house and yard are very nice. This is a great house for family and friends' vacation. We used the house the home base for my son's wedding. The time was very special. We had such relaxing time watching the sunrise over the lake on the deck. The birds on water. The host was very helpful from the reservation to the day we left. Enjoy and Thank you.

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin on Lake Shoecraft. First, Mark was an incredibly communicative host -- clear, friendly, helpful, and responsive. The cabin is rustic and cozy with a lovey view of the lake. We loved the wood-burning stove and exploring the lake with the paddleboards and kayaks. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen very well stocked. The bedroom with the bunk beds is on one side of the house and the bedrooms with the king and queen beds next to the living room on the other side, so if you have a couple of families with kids, the adults can socialize after the kids have gone to sleep without keeping them up. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Enjoyed our stay at this cabin on lovely Lake Shoecraft. Relax and enjoy the shimmering waters from the spacious deck under one of three umbrellas, from the hot tub, or get out on the water with a paddle board, kayak, row boat or inflatables. Great selection of life preservers available. This is a cabin. The layout is a little interesting as you enter into a small landing and make your way through a mud room/ laundry room to get to the main living quarters. Kitchen has a new refrigerator and dishwasher, and is well stocked with most everything you would need. Love the rainbow trout dishes. Ample utensils if you plan to barbecue. I always bring my own ceramic frying pans to cook with and would recommend this. Living room is spacious with a cozy comfortable feel. Two bedrooms off living room have good sized firm beds. The other bedroom to the left of the entrance has two great sets of bunk beds, perfect for a family. There are lots of games, puzzles, reading materials, and streaming services if you enjoy watching television. Fishing gear available for the sportsman or just for fun. Located on a large lot perfect for yard games. Bring your marshmallows, graham crackers, chocolate and circle around the fire pit. We are looking forward to coming again.

Most Perfect Summer Cabin

This is a great wholesome place to spend a weekend or more! We had an amazing time and were lucky enough to be able to use the boating and water sports equipment. I’ll definitely be looking at booking this cabin again!

A fantastic pre-Christmas getaway

We loved our few days away with friends. We hit the cold snap in Seattle, so got to enjoy the snowy conditions and lake view from the hot tub :)

Por qué eligió esta propiedad

This property features many things to do without leaving, but if you need too everything you could possibly want is close at hand. The house was built in 1955, it is a Padabone log home (similar to Lindal Cedar Homes), it has lots of original charm and Mid Century feel. It is close enough to Seattle but far enough away to be removed from the stress and noise. The lake warms up fast in the summer and the swimming is fantastic. The lake is stocked with trout each year so the fishing is great.
Have an incredible shopping experience at the Seattle Premium Outlet mall that has over 120 well-known outlet stores. Eat dine out and enjoy a night of fun at Tulalip Resort Casino. Both are a short 15 minute drive from our lake house. Near Warm Beach in Stanwood, WA. Take a day trip to Vancouver, B.C., Canada. Only 2 hours away. Enjoy the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival in April.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

An 11 foot boat, 6 person spa,, 2 kayaks, 3 SUP, and inflatable water toys are all standard. No bank waterfront makes it ideal for kids and pets of all ages. The water is warm enough to swim early in the season due to the relatively shallow depth. Much more quiet and private than it's sister Lake Goodwin. Large deck with a new hot tub and large dock to fish from. The lake is stocked with trout every year.
