Upea meressä edessä koti sijaitsee hieman pohjoiseen kylän Neskowin. Kyydissä yläpuolella Tyynenmeren laajat näkymät ja Täydelliset auringonlaskut, Pelican Ahven on ainoa laatuaan. Suunniteltu mahdollisimman vieraiden yksityisyyteen makuuhuone sijaitsee alakerrassa, ja vierashuone sijaitsevat pääkerroksessa. Syöttäminen etuovelle, saat heti sen rauhallisen rento tunnelman edessäsi. Noudata käytävää pääoleskelutilaan, jossa on ruokasali, keittiö, olohuone ja vierashuone. Head alakertaan omaan yksityiseen Suite on lattiasta kattoon ulottuvat ikkunat, runko Pacific. Yläkerrassa kolmannessa kerroksessa on perhehuone, joka sopii erinomaisesti elokuvien katseluun ryhmän kanssa. Pelicanin ahven on myös erittäin lemmikkieläinystävällinen pienten aidattujen pihojen kanssa. The house itself was ideal for our visit and we had a great time. The master bedroom (the one with the amazing shower) could use a nicer bed and mattress. The bed creaked whenever I got in it and I am not a heavy person.I do wish the community had paved roads. The gravel roads created a lot of dust so the car windows needed frequent cleaning.I am 77 years old and had no problem navigating the trail to the beach, although one did have to be careful.

we had a wonderful stay :) the moment we opened the front door, we were greeted with stunning ocean views. the views were definitely one of the highlights of our trip! the decks on each level were perfect for soaking it all in—we loved the fire pit and watching the sunset.there isn’t direct access to the beach, but the drive to the closest beach was just 4 minutes away! itit was beautiful, quiet, and we hardly saw anyone else there - our pup was able to run around off leash :)the kitchen was fully stocked, which made cooking super easy and convenient. nice bathroom on the top level. the only thing we missed was having a TV in the main living room—it would've been nice, but I know that’s just a person preference.overall, it was a fantastic stay and we’d definitely love to come back!

Relaxing stay

Oregon Beach house

Found this rental as quick weekend away for daughters 35 birthday and our 39th wedding anniversary. It was as described but the view from the living room was even more breath taking a picture could ever describe. The weather was gloomy and rainy, but we still enjoyed our stay. May I suggest that the owner's rental book be updated. The check out time does not match what is on the web site.

AMAZING VIEW!

Nice and updated beach house in the interior! Love the view of the ocean and each section of the house. The three level of the home gave my kids so much room to roam around and play during their spring break. Downside: Our check in time was at 4pm, and we didn't get to check in until 6:30pm.

Beautifully stocked kitchen. Negatives if any....not very child proof (handles open even when locked, no safety gates on the deck). Could use some kids toys inside. Could use a furniture cleaning and whomever had cleaned did not even vacuum under the ottoman, or any other furniture and the cupboards needed a wipe down. Make sure to read the emails on beach access because we didn’t realize we could safely get down to the beach without driving until after we left. Also, there is a dangerous backroad that our phones took us to get to the house and there is another way to safely arrive.

Amazing Mid Winter Break

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Just returned from a week at Pelican's Perch and feel so relaxed. We have spent many weeks in February on the Oregon Coast and decided to try Neskowin since we have never stayed in this area. So glad we did! Loved the comfy chairs and couch in the living room with the amazing views all around. Spent many hours in the chair by the window reading. The tv room was wonderful on the rainy days and evenings. And the hundreds of movies to pick from was great. The dishwasher is a little small as I was always doing a load after every meal but guess it was better than not having one. The path to the beach is not for everyone since you have to scale down a rocky area using a rope but it is very doable. Loved the fire pit and unlimited wood, walks on the beach and not running into anyone else, watching the seals at the end of the beach and just relaxing away from it all. My only complaint is that since this is a dog friendly home the cleaning staff did not vacuum the furniture from the prior people staying and we got dog hair all over our clothes. We did a quick vacuum ourselves and went back to enjoying our stay

Nice but not as advertised and kind of dirty.

Reviewer Comments: Very misleading advertisement when this property was described to have “easy beach access“. When I hear that term, I don’t think repelling down a cliff with rope is going to be involved. That little detail cost my parents who were traveling with me and who are in their 70s the opportunity to go down to the beach. That’s a difficult detail to overlook when you pay a premium price to get them an oceanfront property for a week. Also, I realize I was renting a dog friendly property and was bringing my two little dogs but I did not expect the backyard to be full of dog poop when I arrived. I wound up having to shovel it all out myself. My wife called to complain about these things and the young lady that we spoke to was just reading from a script. She could offered no assistance whatsoever and did not even know where the beach access was.

Stunning views

We had the best family vacation at this beautiful home. The home has a quirky but very spacious layout and our whole family was able to spread out and have our own spaces to unwind. The outdoor decks were our favorite part of the home. There are multiple levels and private seating areas on all sides of the home. The fire pit was enjoyed every single night while enjoying the late sunsets. The newly remodeled bathroom in the second bedroom was very nice and the whole family ended up taking turns showering in that room. We noticed the shower by the bunk bed area had no hot water after waiting 20 minutes with the water on. The shower/bathroom in the master is extremely small and outdated and we really only used it for the toilet. So the remodeled bathroom had a lot of traffic! As far as the beach access, I’m afraid that we were a bit disappointed although the listing is very clear so we were aware going into it that it may be a problem. We thought it couldn’t be that bad…we are all active. Well the first part of the trail is just beautiful, it is decorated with buoys and has peekaboo views of the water. Then all of a sudden it spits you out onto a straight cliff with a very narrow footpath that leads to slippery rocks that you scale down with a rope. And if it’s high tide, the waves are crashing and churning right under you. The rocks are covered in slick green moss. It it extremely dangerous! We did make it down once with our kids at low tide when the water wasn’t near the rocks and even then it was scary! So if you go at low tide on a sunny dry day it may be much easier. However, you can drive down the hill in the neighborhood to the beach and it takes 5 minutes. The beach is beautiful and we had it to ourselves most of the time. I just wanted to provide clarification on the beach access as I know it can be a factor in deciding. Even though we were a bit disappointed, we loved the house and neighborhood so much it wasn’t an issue. The neighborhood is filled with deer and wildflowers and we loved peaceful evening walks listening to the waves. The very few negatives in this home are far outweighed by the positive. We hope to return someday to this little slice of heaven!

Just Awful

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I have waited awhile to review this vacation property until after I received a response from the management company from a complaint I filed. The house has beautiful views as described and there are some good things about it such as quiet evenings out by the fire pit. However, this is by no stretch of the imagination a “luxury” property. The carpets are filthy. COVERED in stains. We had to cover the bathroom carpet with towels to be able to use it. And since it is a pet friendly property it’s your guess what you are stepping in. The bathrooms are small and none of the plugs worked in the master. Everything is cheaply done from the plastic drop in showers to the towels. We had some other issues with trash and wrong directions but they were insignificant compared to the lack of cleanliness. When management replied they simply said that I am a “time waster” for them and that I “only” paid $1800. It was actually more than that with the extra night I added not knowing what I was going to but I am glad to know that it’s okay to falsely advertise a property as long as it’s a small amount of money. In fact they said I should have left and found some place else to go if it was that bad. Well, I had traveled 1,859 miles with 3 kids during the busiest time of the year when everything is booked well in advance. - where exactly was I suppose to go? The point is, I SHOULDN’T have to leave the “luxury” home I booked. They said I didn’t ask for a refund. That’s not what this is about. I stayed there so I paid for it. I travel extensively all over the place and have rented more homes than I can count. This is the first and only time I have ever left a negative review or comments about a property. House is spacious, bright, and the view is incredible. The fancy shower in the upstairs bathroom is almost perfect...it needs a fancy water heater to go with it. Sharing the shower with someone will result in the hot water running out rather quickly. If you are alone, no problem
