Great location, but there were many nails on porch sticking out. The master bath toilet is wobling. The hot tub cover is broken. Outside of that. Had everything we needed. Although do suggest having some board games on site. Every place we been to prior had some and we loved it.

Spring break trip with friends

Overall good experience. Love the centralized location. There was a couple things we noticed though that would’ve made it better. There was a terrible smell around the kitchen sink that only showed up a couple times per day. We never could figure out where it was originating from. Also, the AC in the upstairs would freeze up and stop cooling on the warmer days resulting in the bedroom getting pretty warm. We visited in April and never had a day over 73 degrees but even those days ended with the bedroom being around 76. Other than those 2 things it was great!!

Amazing vacation!

Great location!

This house is in a perfect location! So close to everything. Our group had a lot of fun here. A few minor upgrades would make the cabin just as perfect.

Loved the cabin

Loved how close it was to the strip, how much room it had. Loved the porch to sit on a night. Just dishwasher and tv cord Missing and air hockey table Not working.

Great location

The location was great. There is plenty of room for a large family. We had 8 in our family. The recliners were good for my MIL that likes to sleep in a recliner. The house overall was good but can use a few upgrades like the stove and dishwasher. They do work ok but have the old coils heating elements. A solid top would be better.

The cabin has potential, but there are several issues that need improvement to ensure a comfortable stay. The toilet in the bathrooms is loose, the carpets are dirty, and the living room floor has visible stains. Additionally, there are no coat racks in any of the rooms, which is quite inconvenient. Another downside is that you have to call to have the trash picked up, which is not practical for guests. There’s also a hole in the staircase that poses a safety hazard, and overall, the cabin does not have a pleasant smell. With some adjustments and better maintenance, this cabin could be a better option.

Beautiful Relaxing Oasis

This place is absolutely beautiful. It's well decorated and is very spacious. All you need to bring is food; everything else is there. The gaming area was an added plus. It was so peaceful and comfy. I would highly recommend. Guest services/owner was prompt and polite with responses. We will definitely return.

Great location

I really like how we were close to the national park and all the attractions on the strip yet did not have to go through downtown Gatlinburg. The cabin is first high enough to have a view of the valley especially from the top bedroom. Definitely recommend I had three kids and they loved it.

Great Time

The cabin was just like the pictures, very clean, well equipped kitchen plenty of linens, lots of room for the entire family . Parking is a little tight for full size pickup truck. The beds where comfortable . The cabin is located minutes from downtown Pigeon Forge.

Spring break

We could not get in cabin the first two days it took at least 15 min to get in and we were doing it correctly. Then floors were sticking in dining area. On lower level deck two beer bottles were left and we called about That and no one got them so we left them when we checked out. Birds in walks of master room due to a hole in siding outside. Windows have paper towels stuffed in them and two toliets leak. If I had it my way I would have had my husband working

The upstairs air conditioner was not working when we got there someone did come out and work on it that night and made the room sleepable. But we were told that it was broken and would probably freeze up again.

This property is not managed by Vacasa. We had a broken AC on arrival and Vacasa said it was owner operated and nothing they could do. On day 2 one window unit was put in for a 3 story house. Everything was dusty. My family and I will always use VRBO, but not this cabin and not any properties run by VACASA.

Spacious but needs some attention in the kitchen

The home was overall suitable for our group of 9, however, the kitchen does not at all seem to support cooking/preparing food for that may people. The stove/oven is very old and small. There aren’t many pots/pans for cooking, and again not large enough for cooking for the size of group that thegouse says it can sleep. There aren’t any drinking cups suitable for children other than a few glasses and lots of coffee mugs. Mainly it was the stove/oven/pots/pans issue that was hard with a laeee group. Otherwise the home was great. The game room was a hit with the kids as the hot tubs was fun too.

Convenient to Dollywood and Pigeon Forge

Overall we had a nice stay. A few areas they could improve.1) The quality of the cookware especially the knives. There is no pizza cutter. There are only steak knives. 2) The clothes dryer is very old and the lint collector screen was shredded and difficult to empty.3) Some of the blinds were not functioning. 4) After we reported some problems, we were told a local manager would contact us but we never heard from them. 5) There was only one air hockey puck and it was in very poor condition. It would not glide and flip off the table too easily. Regarding the foosball table, the ball just falls on the floor every time you score. You have to get on your knees to collect the ball from the floor under the table.

property not cleaned. Poorly stocked

Property had trash and empty soda bottles at front entrance. Carpets had not been vacumed ---were badly stained. Need replacing, or at least shampooing. Marketed for 10 people--but only 4 forks. Tried to raise shades and they fell---were broken. Burnt out bulb and several TV's not working. Refrigerator not wiped out---dishwasher dirty Our closet not usable--used for storage (old mirrors--cupboard door--large tub--large light fixture) and had no hangers. We cleaned for 3 hours before we could unpack. On the bright side---local property manager very apologetic---had cleaning crew come and vacuum. Also brought forks and pan that was not provided and electrician to fix TV's. Very disappointing situation. We have used VRBO 10 years--this was a first.

Never again!

First, let me say we have used vbro MANY times in different states we have visited and always had a great experience. This is our first bad experience we have ever had with renting a home/cabin. We check into our cabin and upon our children choosing which rooms they want ( preteen and teenage age) my 11 year old yells for us and is freaking out we get to the room she chose to sleep in and there was a dirty towel on the bed ( had to be menstrual cycle stains) because it was a white towel covered in red spots and it was clearly used. So my 11 year old refused to sleep in that bed at that point because we found a dirty used towel with red stains all over it. ( I can't blame her I wouldn't sleep in that bed not knowing why the towel was there and if the bed was cleaned at all). After that situation was settled and everyone got in their bedrooms and all bags were unpacked we realized that 3 rooms in the house were missing remotes the living room, family room ( had a remote but it didn't work we tried multiple times), and 1 of the bedrooms. Which meant having movie time with our children was not going to happen since there was no remotes in the living room or family room. After putting everything away we realized that night that the fridge does not work correctly. We could not even get a cold water bottle or cold soda from the fridge because it wasn't keeping items cold in there. Also, I don't believe the fridge was cleaned because there was ( in plain site) a cheese stick inside the fridge just left there from who knows how long ago. The lower level ( basement level ) bathroom has a leak in it. My kids kept stepping in a water puddle in that bathroom. Those are a few of the bigger issues we had while visiting there this week. Now onto the smaller issues. There is no pool table there like listed in the photos I found out after paying to reserve the cabin there's a note in the description of my confirmation that there is no pool table anymore. Was I bummed out yes, of course but there was still an air hockey table there and we could enjoy doing that too right??? Nope didn't happen. There is no puck for the air hockey table, and the few board games that they have there are missing so many pieces and every game is mixed in with each other so board games was a no go too. We are very disappointed. Also we have reached out to Vacasa several times since we left on Friday morning. Today is Saturday evening and no one has contacted me yet to make this right.

Great for family vacation

This property worked out well for us because of its size and layout. Its many bedrooms, baths on multiple floors made if easy for my family. The living spaces are open and plenty of seating in family and game rooms. It was centrally located to the area attractions. The amenities listed were there. The house is well loved but it was clean and comfortable. The pool was clean and a nice size. The kitchen was easy to work in and the refrigerator full size. We did have some minor issues with a stove burner and toaster not working but the staff was courteous and very responsive to correct all issues. Overall this property was great for our family. We had a great vacation!

Papaws bear den cabin

We have a family of 5 and we had a wonderful time. The inside of the cabin was very clean and tidy. The outside of the cabin around the back porch had a few spider webs. The only issue we experienced inside the cabin was each room has its own TV however the programming on each TV is different. So what’s playing on channel 835 in the family room isn’t available in any of the bedrooms. Other than this small issue we had a great time. The only time we were watching tv was at night after a full day of activities in pigeon forge and gatlinburg. We highly recommend this cabin.
