George Bailey House

Nimetty "George Bailey" kotiin johtavan hahmon jälkeen "Se on ihana elämä", tämä koti on suosittu suurten perheiden, monien perheiden ja ryhmien kanssa. Kotona on runsaasti tilaa kahdeksalle hengelle, ja se voi nukkua jopa 10 parivuoteella tai pyytävällä sängyllä. Liitteenä oleva kahden makuuhuoneen huoneisto, jossa on oma sisäänkäynti, voidaan vuokrata myös erillisenä yksikkönä tai yhdessä kodin kanssa. Me kutsumme sitä George Bailey Loftiksi. On runsaasti pysäköintitilaa ajoneuvojen ja "leluja", jaetaan vieraita majoittuessaan parvella. Winter-vieraat voivat pysäköidä autotalliin.

Tämä yksikkö on 3 yön minimi tai 100 dollaria siivousmaksu veloitetaan alle 3 yötä. Kaikki yksiköt on nimetty savuttomiksi (mukaan lukien marihuana). Koirat saavat ylimääräisen yöllisen maksun, enintään 2 koiraa. Ei kissoja tai muita eläimiä. Koiria ei saa jättää yksin mökeissä milloin tahansa.

Yöpymishinta perustuu 8 henkilöön. Lisämaksu on 10 dollaria / hlö / vrk ylimääräisille (yli 7-vuotiaille). Huoneeseen mahtuu korkeintaan 10 henkilöä.

Good location for skiing

I stayed at the property with teenagers for a ski vacation at Crested Butte. I found the property very convenient. Approximately 25 minute drive to the slopes. The property was clean. It was as expected. The hot tub is very nice. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Will stay here again.

Perfect Cabin for Medium-Sized Groups close to Crested Butte!

I rented this cabin with a few of my cousins for a family ski trip to nearby Crested Butte. The house was clean with open, natural light filled common areas and cozy rooms. The hot tub was a necessary benefit after long days of skiing. The cabin is close enough to Crested Butte to easily get to the mountain and back on a ski-day but far enough away to feel more remote. It's an easy drive and there is also a frequent bus you can take to get to the mountain. The village of Almont is also great with a wonderful bar and restaurant. I would absolutely recommend this place!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our 2nd year staying in the George Bailey House. We love the location and, for the most part, the house. We do find the mattresses uncomfortable - much too hard. So this time we brought our own foam pads to ensure a better night's sleep.The other minor complaint is that several windows that were broken when we rented last year were still broken this year. For a home without A/C, it's important to have good ventilation at night to cool the home down. We were surprised these windows were still an issue.Overall, the home is very clean with plenty of space for our family of 5 adults and 2 kids. We also enjoy the deck and the kids had a blast running around on the lawn. The staff at Three Rivers is always helpful and friendly. Several of us had a blast taking duckies down the Taylor River with guides from Three River's Resort. We look forward to our stay next year! (Fingers crossed the windows are repaired. :) )

The people are great and they just feel like family. But if they get too busy and booked up a yr in advance then we won’t have our perfect secret mountain paradise to count on for lodging, food, adventure, peace. We LOVE 3 rivers !!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the 3rd (maybe 4th?) time we've stayed in the George Bailey house. It's a great option for two families to share. The home is always clean and the staff friendly in the office.I do have some complaints because we told the office one year ago about the SCREECHING dryer and the sliding screen door that needs repairing, yet both of these problems still exist one year later. Also, the windows are a mess and don't open and shut well at all. Since there isn't any air conditioning, it's critical to be able to use the windows. The office said they're aware of this issue, but can't get anyone in to replace the windows. Given how hot the home can get during the day, it can be uncomfortable to sleep at night even when the windows are wide open. I suggest adding AC or, at the very least, ceiling fans in all the bedrooms.

Enjoyed the hot tub as well as the house was lovely. Only issue is the wifi doesn't really work as it is too far from the main cabin. Also it was a little challenging as they got a lot of snow while we were there and so they had trouble keeping up with the shoveling/plowing. But it worked out.

Don’t come here if your looking for a place to sneak in some work hours as I had to drive to Gunison to find a place with a good connection, somewhere to sit for awhile without feeling like I’m hogging a table, and a comfortable work environment. Hotub was perfect with a patio like walkway to it and a nice table outside nearby.

Favorite place to stay in Colorado

We have stayed in several of the other cabins over the years.It was spacious and clean, an overall good experience. As with all rental properties, there were quirky things but is to be expected. It is time to replace the appliances however. The handle to the stove was not attached (we used a kitchen towel) the ice maker clogged up(big deal we just opened the door), and the dishwasher needed a little nudging. Truly I loved the space- the porch was wonderful, and the hot tub was perfect after a long day of fishing.

It's a cool house slightly set off from the rest of the trailer park. My only complaint is that is was advertised with WiFi but the only internet is the park's guest WiFi which is extremely limited.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented the George Baily house for a family reunion and absolutely loved was very clean, very spacious and had enough bathrooms!Highly recommend Three Rivers!

nicest house in the trailer park

I should have read the description more closely. The house is not close to the river. It is in a trailer park. You will hear a lot of activity noises if other guests are in the loft unit. The inside of the house is fine. The hot tub is fine. Learned my lesson.
