Looking for a luxury house, in Norfolk's loveliest village, with some of the best bars and restaurants, all within a short stroll of your front door? Then take a look at Number One which is located in the centre of beautiful Burnham Market and comes with three stylishly appointed bedrooms and a gorgeously relaxed kitchen/dining room which opens up onto a sunny courtyard garden.

Calming colours, dreamy décor and a fresh, airy feel greet you as you step inside this luxury detached property. A superb contemporary open-plan kitchen and dining space and bi-fold doors is the perfect place to socialise with friends and family. A well-equipped kitchen is ideal for preparing intimate dinner parties or family celebrations or eating in, but of course the appeal of this property is that you will want to sample the menus at the very best restaurants in the area. You'll be spoilt for choice with a wonderful selection of eateries in the village including NumberTwenty9, The Hoste and Socius, just a few minutes walk away, all of which offer alfresco dining options.

On the ground floor you'll discover the most inviting living space. Pour a glass of wine, light the wood burning stove in the sitting room and snuggle up on the sofa for the evening while you prepare your next adventure. On glorious, balmy sunny evenings, open the bi-fold doors from the kitchen/dining area and relax in the sheltered, fully-enclosed walled courtyard garden. If you manage to leave the idyllic scenery of Burnham Market behind, the coast is only a few minutes' drive away. Burnham Overy Staithe is a must; make sure you take a walk along the sea wall down to the beach and then back to The Hero for a well-earned drink and supper, or head to beautiful Holkham beach where you can collect pine cones as you meander through the pinewoods down to the white sands of Holkham Bay. Last minute booking
We were very lucky to get booked in at Number One having been let down by another company. And we were not disappointed. Lovely new property with lots of space in a great location. Car parking on site too.

Nice property, , lack of information
The property is in a nice location, it is comfortable and warm, well furnished and well equipped. Lack of information - there were no manuals showing how things work. There was a major issue with the induction hob which would not always work, which was an issue every single day wondering if we would be able to get it to work. We rang the emergency number of Norfolk Hideaways with regard to the issue of the hob, but there was little she could do, she did offer to come and see us but she was an hour away but without a manual there was little she could do to help. It would be advisable to have manuals available or at the very least a model number so that clients could find a manual on line. Housekeeping - the freezer is in urgent need of a de-frost, the ovens need a clean, the shower head in the en-suite needs de-scaling and there is a faulty flashing light under the shelving in the kitchen

Perfect Burnham Location
Number One is a well equipped, modern and comfortable house in striking distance of Burnham Market’s epicentre. The outdoor area is well designed and private despite the proximity to the High Street. The beds were super comfy so much so getting out of them was a problem! However, the house could benefit from curtains at the doors to the patio as it is slightly overlooked during darker evenings and would make the large kitchen area more cosy, perhaps with some additional comfy seating. Likewise the bathrooms are slightly functional and appear stark in the cooler months. We had a lovely week despite our plans being turned upside down by the pandemic.

Our stay at No 1
Beautifully presented property and very clean and comfortable. Well located for a stay in north Norfolk with good shops close by and walking designate to coast. There were some issues with the radiators not working in the bedrooms which Norfolk Hideaways tried to address given the instructions at the property were inadequate. However this did not get fixed during our stay. Also the lighting in the kitchen was very dim and one spotlight was flickering throughout our stay. The lighting in the lounge took a time to come on as the switch didn’t appear to work well.

First visit to Norfolk
This property is ideally situated within walking distance of the centre of Burnham Market. It is is a great location for exploring the north Norfolk coast and countryside. Burnham Market is a great little place with lovely independent shops, a fabulous fish monger, butcher and several pubs and restaurants The property is extremely well cared for with everything that you could need. It is very comfortable and clean (except for the ovens which had been left in a poor state by previous occupants). There is a nice courtyard area with ample seating and areas to relax. The living accommodation is really good. The well stocked kitchen is very spacious with a large dining table .The lounge are is very comfortable. The upstairs bedrooms have comfortable beds and are spacious.
