Ali'i Point # 5 sijaitsee Ali'i Pointissa, yksityisessä ja aidatussa yhteisössä, joka koostuu 16 merenrantakodeista, joissa on uima-allas ja tenniskenttä.
Keski-ilmastointi koko alueella. Pääkerroksessa on olohuone, ruokasali, keittiö, puoli kylpyamme ja päämakuuhuone, jossa kylpyhuone.
Suuret lasi-liukusäätimet avautuvat olohuoneesta ja ruokasalista laajaan merenrantalantaan. Lanai on BBQ & pöytä ja tuolit istuimet 8. Erinomainen rentoutumiseen ja ilta-aterioihin. Nurmikkoalue ulottuu talon edestä merelle.
Yläkerrassa on king-king-sviitti kylpyhuoneella ja avautuu yksityiselle Lanaille, joka sopii hyvin auringonottoon.
Toisessa yläkerran makuuhuoneessa on queen-vuode ja viereinen kylpyamme.
Valtava kietoutuva sohva ja mukavat tuolit tekevät hengailusta ja television katselusta mukavan kokemuksen.
Muutaman metrin päässä etuoven sisäänkäynnistä on seinäovi, joka vie sinut kompleksin ulkopuolelle ja polun vesistöjen reunaan.

The property has the most amazing view. The lanai was glorious! It was spacious. We had some household issues that were addressed promptly.

There are really 2 master bedrooms, and there is AC, even though you really don't need it because of the cross breezes. There are 2 huge lanis, and the views are outstanding. We stayed at the house instead of going out because it was such a wonderful location. Can't say enough nice things about it. Property manager was very responsive. Only suggestion would be to add soap to the showers. House was spotless. We don't want to stay anyplace else when in Kona; this place is truly the best.

Highly recommend with spectacular views!

The photos are very accurate and the views are amazing! Quiet neighborhood. Minutes from downtown Kona. House was extremely well-stocked with spices and kitchenware (plates, pots & pans). Even had ziplock bags and aluminum foil! Also, shampoo & soap! Our only negative comment is the house was not ready at the check in time since the housekeeping staff was still working. It was about a 45- minute wait. Other than that it is a perfect spot and we highly recommend it. We had 4 adults and there was plenty of room. Barbecue works great and we ate dinner outside almost every evening. You can swim at the house, but it is rocky and can be rough if you are not a strong swimmer, but there were locals surfing out there. We saw spinner dolphins and a turtle while sitting on the lanai (patio). 5 stars!

We spent a lot of time on the downstairs lanai, sitting in the comfy chairs, and listening to the tide. The tide was unusually high for this time of year. We were able to see Sea Turtles, dolphins (regular and spinner), yellow tangs, and a shark just from that vantage point! There were also see urchins on the rocks below, as well as black crabs in front of the house. This house is close to Kona and all of the shopping and restaurants you can imagine. It was very safe, as it is in a small gated community. The air conditioning units are a big plus. And the well-appointed kitchen has enough dishes, silverware, and pots and pans for a small army. Just bring your own coffee and some Kleenex if you need it and you are set!

Good and bad

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My experience with this rental was mixed. First the is an incredible location, right in town but also very private in a gated compound. It's located on a beautiful bay, with the water lapping the rocks just a few feet from the porch. It's a large home with a nice layout, large master bedroom downstairs, with a 2nd master bedroom upstairs. Bathrooms in each bedroom as well as a half bath downstairs. Well stocked kitchen and laundry. Lots of beach towels and other beach gear/coolers. Now the not sot others have reported the house is a little run down with some damaged sheetrock and other roughness around the edges. But, more importantly, the main AC unit when out a couple days into the rental and it took them 3 days to get it fixed. Luckily, the AC units in the bedrooms continued to work and so we were able to somewhat cool the living areas by cranking those units and keeping the doors open, but still, for close to $1000.00 a day, we should not have had to improvise. Still, it was a good trip, just know going into it that the house is a little rough around the edges.

Reviewer Comments: The view at this property was everything promised; just stunning. The condition was not quite up to expectations. We had chosen this house because previous reviews described it as spotless. It was OK, but not spotless. The kitchen was quirkily equipped; e.g. only two wine glasses and the gas grill did not reach enough heat to grill a steak. The location was good for driving/touring the island, but there is no good ocean swimming nearby and rather awful walking conditions. Final verdict: a fine rental for a large family or group, a little less than perfect for two persnickety (older) couples.

Beautiful home on a wonderful location. Saw turtles, dolphins from lanai. Lots Yellow tangs, triggers plus few moray eels. Great kitchen, has everything we needed. 5 stars!

The home appears to have been constructed in the 80's or 90's and shows some signs of wear, but it is competitively priced compared to nearby homes. Be aware if you have any members of your group who are disabled that the home is not ADA compliant.

Even though the house is just off the very busy Ali'i Drive, once inside the small community and house, the environment was very quiet and private. House had everything we needed. Unfortunately the Ironman race was canceled, but there is still great swimming in the Bay, biking on Queen K, running on Alii Drive, and golf, especially at Mauna Kea. Awesome hiking at Waimanu valley. Great sushi, Chinese and Thai restaurants. And Lava Java. This is my fourth stay at this home. I have reservations for two stays next year, so far.

The view from the house was cocoa bananas, location is smack dab in the middle of everything and there is so much room to spread out in the house. Guided fishing trip, snorkeling, turtles, surfing, shaved ice, waterfalls and star gazing. We love to cook and thoroughly enjoyed the kitchen. So many meals with all the local fresh fish and fruits, sunrises with coffee, double rainbows, and many evening games on the lanai. A wonderful, wonderful vacation indeed, and we can't wait to book this house again! Mahalo plenty Kona Sunsets Vacation Rentals!!

Great location!

Loved the location. Near to all shops and restaurants. The house had everything we needed and you can't beat enjoying the lanai. We saw turtles and the surfers. Keep in mind, the house is a bit outdated but that would be the only issue. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen! We also used the BBQ. Overall, we had an awesome time with our grown kids!
