Jokainen Oahun tunteva Ilikai Marina; kysy kama'aina (paikallinen). Vaaleanpunainen Plumeria on aivan Ala Wai (Ala Moana) -satama- ja rantapuiston toiminnan keskipisteessä ja sata muuta maagista kiinnostavaa pistettä, mutta on kuitenkin erittäin miellyttävä, kätevä ja ylellinen. Waikikin merenrantastandardien mukaan tätä huoneistoa pidetään suurella 679 neliöjalkaa suurella.

Kuvittele itseäsi katsomalla tukijalkojen kanoottiharjoittelua, piristämällä maailmanluokan surffaajia tai paistamalla paahtavaa auringonlaskua mai taivesi kanssa täysin kunnostetusta ja päivitetystä ylellisyydestämme. Tai ehkä ihmettelemässä perjantai-illan ilotulitteita Hiltonilla yhdeltä kaupungin parhaista näkymistä. Rauhallinen, rauhallinen, meressä edessä ja venesataman edessä asuu 180 asteen merelle ja merelle. Unit was nice and has a great view over the Harbour. It was well equipped with everything we required including beach gear! Rex and Erica were great!

Amazing Location for Water Activities!

We stayed in this condo from 10/01 - 10/08 in 2024, and were very happy with it! There are a ton of walkable activities nearby, but even if you have a car, parking on the 5th floor and walking in to the condo was a breeze! I only gave it a 4-star on the listing accuracy because the "king size" bed is definitely two twin beds pushed together. Other than that, we really enjoyed the stay!

Cozy space, Superb location

It would be a great place to stay for couples or small family. A clean, cozy condo, conveniently located near the beach. The owners were super responsive through the whole process and. Will definitely recommend to others.

Wonderful!

The condo was as pictured - but better! The views of the marina were great and everything was clean and lovely. Location, location, location! It was a perfect spot for dining, shopping, going to the beach, and so many activities. I would recommend!

Great location, clean and roomy condo with great WiFi

Well organized host, many thoughtful touches. Wonderful location in heart of a marina, very clean, well maintained and roomy condo. Convenient discount parking available in same building. Strong Wi-Fi, easy to work remote in condo. Zoom, VOIP calls, and remote file access worked well, excellent reliable internet connection. Would definitely stay here again!

Spectacular view

The place was as advertised, comfortable and plenty of space. The owners keep several items there for your use at the beach. The parking was very convenient and affordable. The owners and their local point of contact were all very nice and very prompt with all responses to any questions we had. I would definitely recommend this condo for anyone looking for a great location for a reasonable price.

Beautiful Condo ! Great loacation !

Stayed for two weeks in May at the Pink Plumeria. This condo is absolutely beautiful, clean well decorated and updated with A well stocked kitchen with everything you would ever need. The view from the living room and lanai are amazing looking over the Marina and and the surf at Ala Moana Bowls.we could walk to everything, Great beach in front of the Hilton Hawaiin Village 2 minute walk. There is a Chart House Rest. on the ground floor of the building with a great happy hour and live hawaiin music every night. We cant wait to return ! Thanks Rex and Erica !

Pink Plumeria Waikiki

Just arrived home back to Florida from a weeks stay at the Pink Plumeria in Waikiki. This was my first experience with VRBO, and can attest that this location and property is every bit and more than was expected. My (2) teens and myself set-out on a Family adventure and were very pleased with the acccomodations. If your looking for more than a hotel, then this is the place. Shopping, Restraurants, and convenient stores within walking distance. We loved so much, I wish I could ship my personal belongings and move in for good! All the comforts of home and more. We plan on returning as offen as possible.

Clean Convenient Comfy

We stayed at Pink Plumeria for the 2018 Honolulu Marathon. My husband was running I was watching. This condo was very convenient to the start line. Unfortunately the finish line was nearly 2 miles away so it was a difficult walk back at the end of the race. The condo was very clean and had everything necessary for our stay. The lagoon and beach were just a short walk. Convenience store and restaurants were steps away. We enjoyed the corner pub for drinks and pizza and the Hilton Hawaiian Village is just around the corner for shopping and ice cream. The bed and furnishings are cozy and comfortable. I’m glad we chose Pink Plumeria for our Oahu stay.

Honolulu Stay

Location of condo is ideal, it’s close to everything - beach, restaurants, mall etc. Communication with the host was smooth, no issues. The condo has everything you need for your stay. Furniture seems a bit outdated, but comfortable. The balcony is only big enough to stand, no real space to sit down and enjoy your morning brew, but the views and sunset make up for that. The washer and dryer was out of service in the condo so we had to pay to use the community laundry on the 8th floor which was inconvenient. There was an issue with roaches in the kitchen area of the condo but apparently this is an issue everywhere in Hawaii, the guide book that’s left for you explains that they’re everywhere but they fumigate the building regularly - it’s still shocking when you randomly see them running on the counter and under the sink so that’s something to consider. Overall the condo was nice and would stay again

100% Perfect

The Pink Plumeria was everything we had hoped for and more! This is a gorgeous, one bedroom condo, with panoramic marina and ocean views, including full sunset and partial sunrise. Spectacular! While in the Pink Plumeria, you can relax and enjoy the beauty of Waikii from the comfort of a nicely remodeled condo. Watch sailboats and fishing boats, surfers, and kids playing in the lagoon, all from the condo living-room and the bedroom. When you are ready for action, take the elevator down 5 floors and step out to the marina, walk 100 yards to the lagoon or beach. Want food? Four great restaurants on your block. Groceries? One block to the ABC store, which is stocked with just about anything you will need for your stay. The owners, Max and Erica, clearly love their place and want everyone who stays there to love it as much as they do. They certainly succeeded!

Fantastic in Every Way

As expressed by another reviewer, it’s difficult to add to the other reviews; although we can certainly confirm them. We vacationed in Honolulu for 10 days to visit our son, who is stationed on Oahu. I can’t imagine a better location for a vacation in Honolulu, and this was the best vacation rental unit we’ve ever stayed in. It is exactly as shown in the pictures—clean, comfortable, and very well equipped. The kitchen has virtually everything one could want; and the beach gear includes chairs, umbrella, ice chest, and even a back pack. The location is extremely convenient, with a variety of restaurants right in the building, a small grocery right across the street, and within walking distance to the beach, shopping, and many other restaurants in the Waikiki area. And, of course, the view of the marina and ocean is spectacular! Sunset is a photo opportunity every day. Rex and Erica, as well as local contacts Ryan and Kelly, are very responsive and delightful to deal with. We highly recommend this unit, and it will certainly be our first choice when we return to Honolulu.

Awesome condo with great views and perfect location

My husband, daughter and I had a great stay at the Pink Plumeria condo at the Illikai Marina in Waikiki from 3/22 to 3/30. The location of the condo is perfect - just a couple of minutes walk to the beach and 5 minutes walk to the center of Waikiki. The view from the condo is amazing and the pictures fully justify the view. The owners Erica and Rex were wonderful to work with and were very prompt in responding to my emails. They have literally thought of every minute detail - right from flashlights, to beach chairs, mats, even beach bags, fully equipped kitchen(with a wide granite countertop), towels, linens and the list goes on and on - all that you need to make your vacation a truly enjoyable experience. The condo manager,Lila, was also very helpful and was always on hand to help. There are 'ABC Stores' right across the condo which has everything that you need - from milk to beachwear!! Do not miss the Kimobean coffee shop for a good morning breakfast and coffee. McDonalds is right across the complex too. The fireworks on Friday nights are a must. Great place to stay! Erica and Rex are awesome hosts and gave us lots of information and insider tips, like Hawaiian music on channel 800 24/7 which we enjoyed everyday and made us truly feel we were in Hawaii! The kitchen was stocked with all of the standard cooking items plus extras that we rarely find in a vrbo like cooking spray, cheese grater, colander, pitcher, sheet trays, foil, plastic wrap etc. the coffee maker takes basket filters. There was a closet full of beach goodies to use including boogie boards, chairs, noodles and a cooler plus a few other things I have forgotten. Also provided was another closet with books as well as the essential blue book Oahu revealed to use, had I known wouldn't have lugged mine all the way over and back. We walked to the Ala Moana park every morning and also took several walks over to the Ala Moana mall which is huge and has an excellent food court. The location affords easy access to all highways for island exploration and parking in the garage on the 5th floor allows you to walk to the condo without taking an elevator. We enjoyed our stay and would come back. Thank you Erica and Rex for sharing your place with us.

Awesome Everything!

We are still here until 3/2/15 but wanted to give my review while I remember to do it. What can we say, the view is awesome, immaculately clean, everything you could think of to need supplied, lightening fast response to any email/phone call, Valerie the cleaning/manager was over the top for any help we needed! This condo is nicer than my house! If you stay in this bldg., ocean side so much better than mountain side. We stayed on mountain/street side in January and it was very noisy and not relaxing. February we stayed in this condo and what a difference~ Of course you have a little noise but we had a white noise machine for at night so it didn't matter. Fireworks off the balcony, sunsets, views of outrigger practice, surfers. LOVED IT! Erica and Rex bent over backwards for us. Would come here again in a minute~ Don't need a car, bus anywhere! 10 minutes or less to Ala Moan shopping or Walmart, ABC, BWW, Subway across the street. Best bar, best prices and meal specials is Snappers Sports bar across the street on Ala Moana, and it's a Packers bar. Since we are from WI, it was extra fun! Harbor Pub downstairs of bldg. has excellent pizza and fun at the bar, IF you can get a seat with the locals! Prices are great! Rent this place, you will not regret it!

Relaxing view convenient location

This condo was exactly as presented, with a stellar view of the marina! It was completely well stocked in the kitchen and everywhere. There was great communication between us and the owners and property manager. The location is walking distance to major beaches, restaurants, and shops. You can walk to view Luau’s for free given by the major hotels nearby, and watch Friday night fireworks . It is also easy to walk to the swimming beaches. Our condo was on the fifth floor and was quiet, no street noise or noise from the nearby restaurants. The bed was VERY comfortable, and the sofa bed was OK but not the most comfortable. We had one minor plumbing problem which was quickly fixed. We paid $23 a Night for parking which was less than surrounding areas and it was easy to walk in and out of the condo from the fifth floor. We did not enjoy driving up and down the parking structure but that comes from staying in a major metropolitan area. We found it rather grueling to drive around because we did a lot of back-and-forth driving and found the lanes, signals,pedestrians, quite a challenge to manuever about. If we needed to drive somewhere beyond walking distance we found parking challenging. I would probably Uber around next time. Anyhow, A+ for the condo, C- for driving in Waikiki

Just a little about us: I am a former University professor, small business owner, and management consultant for many years. Currently I am a business broker specializing in helping people buy or sell their smaller businesses in the Central Coast area of California.

My wife lived on Oahu in Lanikai and Kailua for many years, and was a successful chiropractor in Kailua. She is now a chiropractor practicing in the Santa Cruz, CA. Although she still considers herself a novice, she loves dancing and performing hula shows with her halau (hula school).

Both my wife and I love the Hawaiian people, the culture, and the Hawaiian oceansports. We have both been avid outrigger paddlers and racers for many years. I have been surfing since I was 4 years old. We get into the water whenever we can...which is never enough of course! We fell in love with our condo as soon as we saw it. It is in one of the most laid back areas of Waikiki, and is right next to where my wife's father worked at the old Kaiser Hospital for many years. He loved this neighborhood and lived in it for years.

Our condo is very nicely appointed, upscale, refurbished throughout, and is wonderful for those of you looking for a little less intensity with a little more of the local-kine feel of the neighborhood. Our proximity to the Hilton gives us the same beach and play opportunities, at much less cost.
