Very Clean, Comfortable, with Amazing Views

The unit was perfect for my 15 month old baby, wife, and I. We needed a little staycation on the beach and this fit the bill. The apartment is spacious, clean and fully stocked with everything we needed. We enjoyed all the amenities including pool and beach. We also had an amazing dinner at 954 Steak. The host was great and in constant communication. We would totally stay here again. :)

Spring break family vacation

We had a wonderful vacation. The location was wonderful! Jeffery, the host was great. Quick response to any questions. The ice maker wasn’t working and Jeffery had a large bag of ice delivered asap. Would definitely stay a gag!

Convenient location

Overall a great place to stay. There were a few problems which included slow draining sinks (master especially), broken (sinking couch) and icemaker. The icemaker was constantly leaking even if not on. We turned it on so we could have ice for our stay and it just froze in a block. But great price for amenities and location (you don’t need to rent a car, just walk to all of the fantastic places to eat!). Balcony was a huge bonus and very nice.

Complicated

I have to begin with the fact that there was a horrible smell from the second we walked in through the entire week which caused all of us to have allergy and sinus symptoms. We cannot guarantee or verify it was mold, but the reaction to it makes it feel like it was something in the vents. The place is in desperate need of a facelift. The rugs were stained, the main bathroom sink kept backing up, the refrigerator leaked the entire time (we had to turn off the ice machine and lay towels on the floor for the week), the couch is very uncomfortable and dirty (it is not the one that is pictured and you literally sank into it when you sat down), and the aforementioned smell were all factors that made it upsetting for us. The dryer didn't turn off when you opened the door and the the lint trap was caked with so much lint that we had to work on it for a while to use the machine. The owners were very responsive and sent someone out to address our concerns. Unfortunately, all he did was note the issues. The potential fix for the smell did not work nor did the smell dissipate throughout the week, which is why we suspected mold in the vents. The location, pool, hotel itself, and view are amazing though. We had rented from this owner in October in a unit one floor beneath and it was lovely, so it was disappointing to have this quality of condo for this trip. If the place gets updated, this condo is perfect to rent!

Great place!!

Outstanding property! Would love to come back again. Worked perfectly for my family w/ 3 teens. Everyone had enough space. Full unit had all amenities needed for a great vacation. Full Kitchen with great working appliances. Both pools were great. If you want some privacy or lower key pool the residential is for you. My only drawback of the time was the amount of time waiting on elevators. There were busier times when people checking in or out when they ran slower. All in all I would highly recommend this location.

Great Location & Communication

This condo was perfect for our stay! - Location is ideal, just across from the beach and an quick ride to the airport and in to town. - Open layout of condo was great for groups who wanted to interact/not feel closed off to the others. - Owner was very responsive. I had messaged in advance about some prior reviews regarding the couch. The owner responded immediately and informed me that the couch was white and even when cleaned didn't show well. The couch was replaced and we had a new clean couch. - Check in/out was very easy and smooth. - Residence pool was the only pool open during our trip. We were sad that the main pool was closed, but the residence pool was great and had plenty of chairs. Bar and wait staff was responsive and easy to get food/drinks.

It’s needs to be clean

The place would be amazing if they would change the couch, carpet, and also renovate the sinks and bathtubs. The white couch is all stained and dirty, and the rugs stained as well. The sinks and Bathtubs all the paint is coming off. I’m sure they clean but all of the makes it feel like it’s dirty and I wasn’t comfortable my kids sitting on the couch.

Second stay here!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This rental was perfect for our family of four. It’s our second time staying here and we’re happy we chose it again. Close to the beach, pool, shopping, etc. The unit was a great size for all four of us. The only thing was that a few days before we left, the main hotel pool broke so everyone from the hotel and residences was using the pool from the residence. It was PACKED and we couldn’t swim the last few days which was really upsetting. The pool turned into a party scene which wasn’t ideal as we were there with our young kids. Hotel staff said the pool will be out of commission until September, so be mindful of that before booking. The unit could use some love (for example, the sofa was in bad shape and quite dirty, the carpet had stains, etc), but it was well set up. All in all, we’d stay here again - if both pools are in use 😉

W Residences Fort Lauderdale 1807

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Suite 1807 at The W Residences was in a fantastic location with a great balcony and views.The 2 bedrooms were good size and the kitchen was also very spacious. The reservation process, check in/check was all very smooth, but we had many problems with the actual property. Both of the bedroom doors did not move on their respective gliders. The lights in the bathroom of bedroom 2 were broken. The only light came from the toilet which was not bright enough.The couch and the cushions had multiple stains and there were two large stains on the living room rug.The safe didnt work. We called several times, but this didnt get fixed (despite being repeatedly assured it would be) and it only needed a battery. The main sink in the kitchen was disgusting and also the sink in the master bedroom. The glasses on offer for an apt catering for 6 people were not sufficient. all mis matched. The mugs were also very small and no plug in the kitchen sink or bathroom so you couldnt fill the sink with water. Jasmine did try to help, but she was only available on Sat. Dwayne and Derick (handymen) came to help, but werent able to fix anything. On the Sat we had non stop visitors to try and fix things to no avail which was extremely disruptive and far from relaxing.
