Beautiful home!

Was pretty pleased with this property. Owner had quick response when texted. Didn’t have any washcloths or toilet paper so I had to go out and buy some, and we didn’t have any cable to watch, but other than that, was very pleased with the home. Great location and felt extremely safe, very roomy for everyone.

A getaway of a lifetime

We had a great time a well needed and stress free vacation getaway. Overall it was a lot more than we expected my family and friends were in an awe! It was spacious with quite the number of rooms where we were all comfortable. It is now my top vacation place to go to.

Terrible house

The house was filthy, the outside chairs broken just an accident waiting to happen. Pool man came when we were in pool so we could not use it but most worse was there is no air conditioning at the house. We were sweating and terribly disgusted and disappointed.

Relaxing get away

This stay allowed for a relaxing getaway. The house is in a great location and in a safe neighborhood. It’s very close to Disney for those traveling for that reason. The community amenities are great (pool, gym, lounge, etc). The house itself is very spacious and well decorated, with room to fit probably 20 people comfortably. There are some upkeep issues that show signs of wear and tear but this did not take away from the experience of the trip and my vacation as a whole. The host was receptive to feedback about this and says the upkeep issues will be worked on soon (things like paint touch ups…nothing major).

A perfect stay in a nice cozy and convenient Home

We had a really amazing experience at Tropical Oasis! The place was exactly as described, and even better in person. The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities we needed, from a fully equipped kitchen to comfortable bedding. We really appreciated the thoughtful touches like fresh towels and toiletries.The location was perfect for exploring the area. It was close to restaurants, shops, and public transportation, yet in a quiet neighborhood so we could relax after a day of sightseeing. The water park was really fun and we totally enjoyed it, when we wanted to stay closeby. The host was incredibly responsive and welcoming, providing all the details we needed for check-in and making sure we were comfortable throughout our stay.Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a cozy, hassle-free getaway. We’ll definitely be back with our kids!

Birthday nights

First of I want to say that booking was easy and accordingly but after we paid for the stays the host failed to communicate with us. We were one hour late on accessing the house, the heater wasn’t turned on as we asked for so we couldn’t utilize it at all. We tried calling multiple times when trying to contact the host and she would not answer she even hung up on customer service two times. The place smelled bad inside and we also had to provide our own toilet paper. This will be the last time we book with this host.

Location was great. Houses are close so you hear the neighbors. We had some small issues and property manager took care of everything quickly.

Perfect low key getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and hope to return annually! The house is beautiful and functioned perfectly for our party of 13. Both the kids & adults all had a blast. The only suggestion I have to improve the rental property is to add a can opener & mixing bowls to the available kitchen utensils. Highly recommend this property!

Lovely house in a good spot with sun all day

The house was well equipped, only a couple of mins from the resort, very modern and was able to login to Amazon tv on all the TVs which was brilliant for my kids! The outdoor furniture was lovely and comfortable, much better than other villas we have stayed in. The sun is in the pool area most of the day, would definitely come back next year :) thanks

Great stay!

Although a little stressed about the reviews, we did have a great time and the property manager eased my fears. Only problem I had during the stay was the security told us they needed to call for authorization but no number was provided so I had to go and call property manager to get resolved then during the stay they said the same thing but once we said we were already there and had our stuff inside they let us in. Other than that our stay was good. Would definitely stay again when we decide to make another trip.

Resort itself was kind of small, the home was a great size for our family. Had some trouble figuring out how to get in but we figured it out. Payed for the grill but werent able to use it. Called property manager and owner and no response until after weekend was over, but she did reimburse me. All in all we enjoyed the home .

Very comfortable for party of 13!!

Home is very well decorated and very clean. We had a few small issues but a simple text and was resolved quickly. There was a few kitchen items that aren’t present but we managed without them and informed the owners they’d be nice items to have on hand. All parks are about a 20 min drive and easy to navigate around the toll roads. Definitely will be staying here again if we choose to make another trip to Disney.

This was our first experience with VRBO. So, you can imagine how nervous we were bringing our family of 16 to Florida. We were ecstatic with the property and our entire experience. Amazing family vacation!

Our family travels to the area yearly and this was by far our favorite rental! Arriving at the property we were extremely happy with the community the home is located in and how well kept the property is. The home is BEAUTIFUL, every single room was well thought out and planned, everyone felt comfortable with their space. I am not quite sure if we can tell who enjoyed the home more, between the adults and the children! The pool is a decent size, with a good amount of seating and the grill was a great touch. All bedrooms were very comfortable, bathrooms were great. Having two family room areas was awesome as the adults and children were able to have their own separate spaces to wind down. We will definitely be going back! Thank you Permella for this amazing space, we really enjoyed our stay!

Out dated

We got there 2 hours after check in and the cleaning crew was just finishing up. She said towel where still drying in dryer, we thought no big deal. Well didn’t pay attention to dryer until the next morning I go in the utility room and dryer was still running. That’s probably how long it actually take to dry a load of clothes, dryer would never shut off by itself. Call the number no one ever came see about it. Didn’t have face towels had to go buy some.. Furniture is so outdated the vinyl is peeling off they put throw blankets over it so you don’t see how nasty it is. Over all the house was the prefect size for us: Just need more TLC and change out furniture. House sleep 20 people but you can only fit 2 cars in the driveway.

Review

The property was very nice and in a great location. The billing was easy and easy to upgrade as needed but I called three times before our trip for information and never got a call back after leaving messages. I also called the first day there because they said there was a key for the pool room that I thought the beach towels would be in but the key was not there and I never got a call back . The pool was nicely heated but green until the pool maintenance man showed up on Wednesday and put in 10 gallon’s of chlorine and some other chemicals that did clear it up nicely.

A vacation home

The stay & home were very nice but there were many flaws that can’t be overlooked. the grill needs to be cleaned. we had to replace the shower curtain & clean the bathroom a little bit as there were still hairs on the shower wall, pieces of leftover bar soap on the bathtub ledge, & mold on the curtain. (not a comfortable thing to experience after a day of flying). The property had free wifi available, but you’re constantly having to reset the router to get a connection. (Even with resetting the router, connection issue still occurred while on your phone). There was also a dead beetle in one of the bedrooms but at least it wasn’t alive. & it was the only insect inside the house that we noticed. One of the couches seem to be giving up & ready to meet its maker, too. Overall, we still had a good time.

The House was good with Flaws

PROS - The neighborhood was very nice. Nothing to complain about there. - The Resort Clubhouse was really nice. The pool was great. Also, the front desk receptionist was very welcoming. - The house was clean and very nice. I love how most the pictures were exactly what the house looked liked. CONS - The Home Owner takes forever to respond. They probably respond at most once a day. They also never answer their contact phone number. -The check-in PDF is outdated. You can tell because the instructions don't correlate to the current status of the home and resort. - When we arrived the pool was dirty, green, and overflooded. I contacted the owner to get it fixed. Then they asked me to call the property manager. Who never answered or responded to my texts. There was a lack or communication there. (I did get reimbursed for the nights I wasn't able to use the pool). But the pool never got cleaned by the end of our stay. Summary It was a very nice stay. The pool situation left a bad taste in my mouth though. Also, the lack of communication. Luckily we had a clubhouse pool go to. *Advice - Bring extra toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags. Because endless you pay for an in-between stay cleaning there will not be extra provided.

Come prepared

Booking this place was easy, communication with property manager was good, and the check-in process went smoothly. However, during our stay we noted the following things: there was no net for the ping pong table. Upon arrival, there were two individuals working on the house (putting a new grill together) until 6pm (2 hours after check-in). There were no trash bags, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, sponges, etc. While the description lists the home can sleep 18, there were only 3 beach/pool towels, 3 wash cloths, and about 10 regular towels. On top of this, there was only enough dishes for about 15 people. Thus, dishes were constantly having to be washed. When we arrived, we noticed some of the chairs at the bar were covered in sand. Throw blankets that were kept in the closet had a dirty smell to them. The living room furniture was ripped and torn. Master sink would not drain. Garage door was extremely loud, sounding like it was going to break. Queen bunk beds were not secure. (Shifted left right/back and forth with 30lb toddler) No accommodation for children (all dishes are glass). None of the furniture (bookshelves, entertainment centers, dressers) were secured to the wall. This poses a huge tip-over liability with children in the house. In addition, the TVs were sitting on top of these devices. Overall, we enjoyed our stay but future renters should be prepared of these inconveniences/ hazards prior to their stay.

Good overall

Overall we had a positive experience. This property is great for large families that want to be near Disney, Universal, etc. The kids enjoyed the pool at the house and the water park that is part of the complex. On the downside, the property hadn't been cleaned yet when we arrived at 4:00PM. The beds had been slept in and jumped on with muddy shoes. We called the property manager and they got cleaning people ASAP, but we still had to vacate until about 7:30PM. That was annoying since we wanted to get the kids to bed early in preparation for Disney the next day. A number of things were damaged when we arrived: 1. Sprinkler head near the driveway, making it impossible for anyone to approach the house in the evening without getting a major bath. 2. Closet doors in two of the bedrooms were broken or off their tracks. 3. The right hand sliding door to the pool was bolted shut with a bracket screwed to the door frame. The left sliding door worked. 4. The right half of the drapery rod support between the living room and the outside pool had its top screw hole stripped. This makes it impossible to install these drapes. We found the rod and the drapery in the closet under the stairs. 5. Queen bunk bed ladder is missing the top rung and the next rung is loose. This makes the whole ladder wobble, so we lifted the kids on and off it. 6. The refrigerator's ice maker doesn't work. 7. The rug in the upstairs living room is a tripping hazard (curled up at the edges). Kids face-planted and adults tripped multiple times as we moved in. 8. Several bathrooms have really slow-draining sinks. 9. The love seat in the downstairs living room is broken and has wood sticking out of it. 10. The cylindrical pillow downstairs has a broken zipper. 11. The TVs were unplugged and the backs of the remote controls were missing.in the upstairs living room and one of the kids bedrooms.

My husband Al and I are of proud parents of 3 adult children. Our greatest memories occurred on our various vacations. And although we have been privileged to travel across North America, Europe and the Caribbean. We found a special attraction to the city of Orlando. Orlando as a city is very accessible to the Caribbean where our roots are. It is also very accessible to the rest of North America and the rest of the World. The city boasts some of the most beautiful and world renown theme parks. And there is no place like Disney! The shopping is quite varied and affordable. The citrus is plentiful and the landscape though flat is very lush and inviting.
We are now available 24 hours a day / 7 days a week. We look forward to welcoming you and your group to Orlando, Florida!

We have made many trips to Disney in the past. Our attraction to Orlando led us to this beautiful property at Windsor at Westside. Our property with its 7 bedrooms: has 4 king beds, 1 queen bed, 2 twins, and a full-on-full bunk. It easily sleeps 16. But our guests are allowed to sleep extras on sofa beds. The tropical oasis was designed by interior designer Atasha Jordan of THI-Interiordesigns .com. She was able to artfully depict our family's love of the tropics, the place where we go in the winter, and exhume such tropical vivaciousness that definitely fills our hearts when we visit. We wanted to share this experience with our guests.

Al and I fell in love with our vacation home because once inside we feel cut-off form the hustle and bustle of the resort. But at the same time we have immediate access to the Windsor at Westside 5 Star Resort and its amenities. We had always wanted to get our own private pool and when we enter the home our gaze outward is attracted to the beautifully inviting simmering pool and spa. The arched entry way and the beautiful modern kitchen helped us make the final decision. The master on the first floor was also another winner. We could sneak into the heated pool anytime day or night.
We are now available 24 hours a day / 7 days a week. We look forward to welcoming you and your group to Orlando, Florida!
