Stables Cottage consists of a kitchen/diner equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and dining seating for four guests and a sitting room with TV and woodburning stove. The bedrooms consist of a ground-floor double and a twin, serviced by a ground-floor bathroom. Outside there is an enclosed front garden with lawn and parking is available. Within 5.2 miles you will find a shop and within 0.7 miles, a pub and please note that two well-behaved pets are welcome for an additional fee but sorry, no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. A travel cot is also available on request. Stables Cottage is a charming base for your next getaway to Herefordshire. Note: Guests have access to free golf and free fishing as well as a bar/restaurant on site (see opening hours). Note: The stairs up to the twin bedroom are very steep, please take care. Note: A Z-bed is available on request and can sleep up to two additional guests. Note: The park will be closed during Jan & Feb and there may be some ground work taking place. Town: The pleasant village of Shobdon lies between the historic market towns of Leominster and Presteigne, and is surrounded by beautiful Herefordshire countryside, close to the Welsh borderlands. Mentioned in the Domesday Book, Shobdon has a village shop, an excellent pub/restaurant, and even a private airfield, providing a rare opportunity to learn how to fly helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft. Leominster, dating back to the 7th century possesses some fine examples of architecture including the Priory Church, along with a wide selection of shops, cafes, antiques centres and pubs - an ideal place to spend an afternoon.
