With 30 acres of secluded, wooded grounds which make up the wider estate, there is plenty of opportunity for exploring and wildlife spotting with the whole family. Keen fishers may wish to head to the lake to try a spot of fishing; the lake is stocked with carp, sturgeon and tiddlers.

The cottage is also ideally located for accessing the breathtaking Northumberland Coast, with miles of golden sand just a short drive away. Spend the day exploring the many coastal castles, or take a boat trip out to the Farne Isles where you may be lucky enough to spot seals and puffins.

After an eventful day of woodland walks and exploring the local delights of Northumberland, Lake Cottage will be a welcoming sight.
