Edge Mere Apartment boasts a truly prized location in the heart of popular Bowness-on-Windermere, and, with a rare, allocated parking space right outside the door, your Lake District escape has never been so easy to plan for.

Entering this self-contained apartment through the private front door, you’ll be welcomed into the bright hallway by way of high ceilings and an immediate sense of luxury. The opulent and elegantly styled lounge sits to your right, providing a space large enough to relax and unwind while catching up on your day of adventures. There’s a feature gas fire and an abundance of board games, should you wish to cosy down and enjoy everything the apartment has to offer.

To the rear of the ground floor, you’ll find the modern kitchen diner, which has been thoughtfully designed to create yet more spacious and convenient living. In addition to the expected kitchen appliances, Edge Mere Apartment has a Nespresso coffee machine and Quooker boiling water tap – anyone for a cuppa?

The hotel-like accommodation is made up of one double bedroom on the ground floor, and a further king-sized bedroom in the basement. Great place to stay, we have been coming to the lakes for years, this is the best accommodation we have stayed in windermere.

Amazing property
We had a brilliant stay at edgemere apartment. The property was spotlessly clean and furnished and equipped to a very high standard. The living room was large and cosy on a cold evening. There was a good selection of games which we enjoyed. The large island in the kitchen was a great social area for meals. Beds and bedding were super comfy with large head boards. Location couldn't have been better, very central and the addition of a parking spot was a big bonus. Booking through tarn escapes Ross responded quickly to our questions before we booked and was very helpful. Would certainly love to return for a second visit

Everything was great. Location, comfort,facilities,cleanliness. Do I have to say a negative ? Maybe just take note the short steep hill would be a bit of an ask if you’re not too good on your feet. That aside it was perfect for a whistle stop tour.
