Our Maiskogel room at Haus Schmitten

The room is 21 m2 and has a double bed with a private bathroom (with shower). The room contains a table, a small bar fridge, a kettle, and glasses. The room is located on the main floor of the building.

It is our smallest room in Haus Schmitten. Haus Schmitten is located in a quiet street, only a few minutes walk to the Areitbahn Gondola. Guests have access to the garden and BBQ.

The pristine Lake Zell is a perfect spot to enjoy sailing and water sports. Kitzsteinhorn, Sigmund Thun-Gorge, Kaprun High Mountain Reservoirs, Krimml Waterfalls (Europe’s highest waterfall) and the High Alpine Grossglockner Mountain Road are only a short journey from Haus Schmitten.
In the winter, Zell am See/Kaprun becomes a world-class ski resort catering to all abilities. The Schmittenhöhe Areitbahn Gondola is located a 750m walk from Haus Schmitten.
The local resorts of Kitzsteinhorn (100% snow guarantee Oct- early summer), Schmittenhöhe and Familienberg Maiskogel offer over 138km of perfectly groomed pistes. In addition, the Ski Circus at Saalbach/Hinterglemm and the Höchkonig Ski resort at Maria Alm can be reached within 30 minutes by car. Non-skiers can enjoy beautiful wintery mountain vistas, relaxing at Tauren Spa, delicious food, guided walks and tobogganing.
Transport is easy- you can park your car for free at the Apartment. Otherwise, a Bus stop and free Ski Bus is located steps from the apartment.
