The property comfortably sleeps eight guests and benefits from a spacious garden, a private pool, a sun terrace and an outdoor dining area with a BBQ. For the children, there are football goals, a basketball net and a number of games. Inside, the accommodation is arranged laterally and has been thoughtfully renovated to maintain the property’s original character, with terracotta tiled floors, exposed wooden beams and wooden shutters.

Guests will enjoy downtime in the spacious living room, which is furnished with a comfortable sofa bed, a smart flat-screen TV and a pool table. This room also incorporates a large dining table and chairs, ideal for mealtimes or board games. The separate, country-style kitchen is fully equipped with; a breakfast table for six, an open fireplace, a gas cooker hob, an oven, a microwave, a dishwasher, a Nespresso coffee machine and a fridge freezer.

The local area is renowned for its incredible landscapes of vineyards, olive groves, rolling hills, medieval villages and cypress-lined avenues.

Location

The property is located in the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Val d\'Orcia a picturesque valley in the southern part of Tuscany. The charming town of Pienza is a 20-minute drive from the property and is considered the area’s cultural centrepiece, known for its well-preserved Renaissance architecture. The closest town is Contignano (a 10-minute drive) where guests will find grocery stores, cafes and bars.

Another notable town in the valley is Montalcino, (a 25-minute drive). The town is famous for its production of Brunello di Montalcino wine and is perched on a hill offering panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.

Those seeking the ultimate relaxation will enjoy spa days at the historic towns of Bagno Vignoni (a 17-minute drive), Chianciano Terme (a 15-minute drive) and Saturnia (a one-hour 30-minute drive) which are all known for their historic architecture, thermal waters and wellness facilities.

Other popular excursions include visits to the historic towns of Siena (a one-hour 20-minute drive), Orvieto (a one-hour drive), Arezzo (a one-hour 5-minute drive) and Umbria’s capital city Perugia (a one-hour 20-minute drive).
