Rented all three places.Everything was just great.We were 13, everyone/couple had a bedroom and plenty of room to get away.The place and grounds were perfect.We caught many fish just off the backyard.The kitchen and dinning area were fabulous places to be together.We'll be back.

The property is perfect - gorgeous house tucked away with great river front view, clean, and convenient. The owners were kind, communicative, and were very accommodating to a last minute unexpected schedule change. Cooke City / Silver Gate is super quaint but offered everything needed away from all the tourist. Will definitely be going back!

Beautiful cabin close to Lamar Valley.

This cabin is more luxurious in person! We loved the comfortable interior and luxurious touches like stone accents and oversized shower. The backyard with the sparkling Soda Butte creek was gorgeous at sunset. Kids loved the hot tub overlooking the water! Minutes from Lamar Valley and Beartooth Highway scenic drive. Perfect for visiting Yellowstone!

Wilderness Retreat

Prior to this summer, we had stayed two weeks annually in a cabin setting in northern Wisconsin for over two and a half decades. Our place in the woods was sold and we couldn't imagine a possible replacement. This "loft" near Cooke City, Montana, and the northeast gate of Yellowstone was a replacement beyond what we might have dared to dream, and, could not have imagined. One might not associate "luxury" and daily "wilderness wanderings" however that is the description most appropos.

Fantastic location....but a few suggestions

We loved the location and the property. A few things we didn't love: 1) The beds were way too small for two adults and we had to sleep in separate rooms (and the beds were incredibly uncomfortable). 2) The bathroom is not designed for tall men and made using the restroom the way most men do a challenge. 3) The shared space between all three properties was confusing at first but fine. 4) The location was wonderful for what we were looking for which was easy access to Yellowstone.

Immaculate

Very clean and comfortable loft space. Easy, sturdy and wide staircase up. No real view of the creek from the loft but there is access to it. Bed in bedroom is memory foam and very comfortable. My only concern was the thermostat was locked. It seemed to be set at 68 which is a little chilly for me especially at night bc it got very cold. They do have blankets for you. You have 2 attached neighbors. But for us they were pretty quiet. It was tricky to park bc of two trees in the driveway but with a little maneuvering it wasn’t terrible. Make sure you pack a cooler for groceries if you plan on cooking bc the closest thing to a supermarket is 2 hours away in Gardiner. There is a gas station and a general store with some stuff though. Not many restaurants but the coffee shop in town is great! Overall we had a great stay. We happened to meet the owner when we were leaving and he was very nice.

Perfect for my son and I

My son and I stayed in the loft while visiting Yellowstone during his graduation gift. The location meet all our needs and then some. It was clean; comfortable, well decorated, and equipped. Id certainly return and recommend others to it as well.

Mountain Heaven

Loved our stay! The location was perfect for visiting our favorite parts of Yellowstone and to exploring the Beartooth Pass. Saw moose and bear off the main Hwy and deer on the property. Loved being on the creek. They beds were comfortable, kitchen had more than everything we needed, and the views and extra amenities were perfect. Check in was quick and seamless and the owners responded promptly to any questions we had. We enjoyed being so close to town, but feeling like we were in the middle of the woods!

Wonderland

Cheers to the Rosengrens for their flexibility and prompt communication! Due to weather, Delta cancelled our flight the night before our departure and didn't have another available flight for another two days. I thought our vacation was cancelled. While speaking with Delta that evening, I checked the booking calendar and noticed that there was availably. I messaged Michael and Michelle and they responded while I was still on the phone with Delta. The Rosengrens had no responsibility to let me change my dates or provide a refund; however they were gracious and allowed us to move our dates. The setting is perfectly both remote and close to town. As we drove from Bozeman and got closer to Cooke City we were greeted by bison, rams, elk, and a lone wolf. This was a special vacation - a rare Mom and son vacation. Our boys have separate break schedules so we get to have some one-to-one time. My son got to pick where he wanted to go for his spring break (anywhere in the US). He choose Yellowstone and simply wanted to see wildlife in the less-traveled portion of the park. He picked this listing for its location and "wildness." He was THRILLED with this trip and as a mom of a teen this means the world to me. He's traveled a lot of the world and ranked this trip in his top three favorites. I loved seeing him playing in the snow for hours - making tunnels, a snowman, and ice-bubbles. He's 14 and is normally playing video games with friends or hibernating in his room. In this place, away from it all - he was a boy at play and full of wonder. I got to fully relax and made the hot-tub and sauna my new habitat. Chopped wood was replenished magically. We hope to visit this wonderland again.
