Yellowstone-joen ääni saa sinut nukkumaan, kun visioita taimentanssista linjan lopussa ... heräät ja se ei ole unelma - olet todella siellä !!!

Tämä upea ja tilava mökki on aivan Yellowstone-joen varrella, vain muutaman minuutin päässä Yellowstonen kansallispuistosta ja Roosevelt Arch -sisäänkäynnistä YNP: n pohjoisessa sisäänkäynnillä, lähellä Mammothin kuumia lähteitä, maastopyöräilyä ja kaikkia villieläimiä, joita voit kuvitella.

Yellowstone-joen rannalla sijaitseva Grizzly Den -mökki on itsenäinen. Siinä on erämaa-kalustus oleskelutilassa, raikkaat liinavaatteet, pyyhkeet, kirjat, SMART TV (sinulla on oltava omat pääsykoodisi Netflixille ja vastaaville). WIFI-yhteys, täydellinen täysin varustettu keittiö, jossa jääkaappi, mikroaaltouuni, liesituuletin ja kuivausrumpu, kahvinkeitin, kahvi ja tee, mausteet ja kastikkeet, kaasugrilli ulkona ja upea katettu terassi rentoutumiseen päivän retkeily-, ratsastus- tai koskenlaskua Yellowstone-joella. Ravintolat ja paikalliset ostosmahdollisuudet ovat kymmenen minuutin ajomatkan päässä, ja Chico Hot Springs Spa ja hieno ravintola ovat puolen tunnin päässä.

Wonderful stay!

This was such a nice place. Yellowstone was easily accessible and the cabin was a nice place to come to and relax after a long day in the park. We enjoyed watching the wildlife from the cabin. The highlight of animal watching was seeing the Elk cross the river behind the cabin. I would definitely highly recommend. We had such a good time.

Tough to beat. Great views, river front, clean cabin, great kitchen. Easy access to gardiner, but from the quiet road on the west side of the river. Sleep with windows open to the sounds of the yellowstone river. My new go to for fly fishing basecamp in the valley.

Wonderful experience.

My husband, 2 sisters, and my great niece who was 9 years old stayed at the property. We found it to be as advertised. We saw pronghorn, elk and a beaver. The cabin is nicely decorated and very close to Yellowstone. I want to thank Tammy for providing us with such a wonderful place to stay which enhanced our experience.

Perfect location!

Our family of four stayed at The Grizzly Den for 2 nights while we toured the northern parts of Yellowstone. We couldn’t believe how close we were to the North Entrance while still feeling secluded & quiet. The cabin was clean & comfortable & had everything we needed. Communication with the host was prompt & check in was easy. The host provided a pdf of instructions to print before our trip, which was helpful since we had very limited cell service in the area.

Communication was clear, extra detailed and the cabin was in an adorable place and so easy to get to the town of Gardiner and the north entrance to Yellowstone park. So many extra things in the cabin like soap, detergent, paper towels, etc that made packing and shopping so much easier!

What a Gem!

We had an amazing stay at the Grizzly Den. The cabin itself was perfect for our family retreat (3 adults 1 child). The cabin was cozy, spacious, and had everything we needed. The location was phenomenal! You can walk out in the back yard within feet of the river bank. On our first day a heard of 100+ elk crossed the Yellowstone river and we could see it all happen from the backyard of the cabin. The cabin is a couple miles from the Yellowstone Park North Entrance which made visiting very easy and it is just as close to cute shops and restaurants in Gardiner. I highly recommend the Grizzly Den to anyone looking for an adventure and a cozy stay!

Grizzly Den cabin July '23 stay

Both bedrooms with a full bathroom within each bedroom where very nice for our two families that stayed. Very nice to have the river right out the back porch to enjoy your beverage of choice. First night, an elk grazed 20' from our back porch and there is a huge heard that was grazing down the road almost each day. There is recycling at the location where you drop your trash. Wish we would have known that before so we could help planet earth. Only negative was the dirt road to get there.

The Elk House

We had an amazing time here. The location is quiet and remote, yet so close to the entrance and cute town. Had everything we needed for comfort and making great meals and memories. We named this house the “Elk House”. At any point in the day you could see Elk and other wildlife roaming the property and enjoying the river. My favorite part was enjoying my morning coffee outside listening to the beautiful river and wildlife. Loved it and were sad to leave! Thank you!

Great Cabin & Location

This cabin was a great choice for our family of four for our first trip to Yellowstone. It's cozy, and we especially loved the riverfront location and back patio. It was nice to have two rooms, each with two queen beds with their own bathrooms. The kitchen was well-stocked but note that there is no garbage disposal or dishwasher. The carpet/decor could use updating, but overall, this was an excellent stay.

A lovely cabin and the accommodations were just as described. The kitchen was adequately stocked with what we needed and much better than other places we have stayed. Very clean and owner was easy to contact and helped us get into the cabin when I failed to be bring the code needed to get in. A few miles down a dirt road. Right along the Yellowstone River. I would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Such an awesome property to stay at. We used it as a base camp to explore the national park. Very convenient location, close to town and entrance to park. Awesome views in the valley and along the river. Cabin was very clean and had everything you need to enjoy your stay.

Well-appointed cabin in excellent location

This is a clean, spacious, very well supplied cabin. It is in a community of cabins in a beautiful location on the Yellowstone River. The cabins are somewhat close together, but they are constructed in a way that preserves privacy. They are in a somewhat remote area of grasslands, mountains, elk and antelope, yet only 10-15 minutes from the nice little town of Gardiner, MT and the entrance to Yellowstone NP. There are several good restaurants in Gardiner, as well as a small but well-stocked grocery store. We would certainly stay there again.

Overall it was a good stay. There were a few disappointments. We couldn’t enjoy coffee on the patio in the mornings as the sprinklers went off at 7am, ran for an hour, and sprayed onto the patio where the seating was. The grass needed to be mowed making it a bit uneasy walking in it as the snakes were active. We were four units down from the fire ring even though the listing made it seem like the fire ring was outside our door. The biggest disappointment was having to carry the garbage to the airport some 7-8 miles away. Due to the fact my truck was packed completely full under my bed cover we had to make two trips, one on our last day before we packed, and one on our way out with the garbage generated our last night. There has to be a better option. I’m glad I had a truck and not have to put stinky garbage in a car. The online listing did not mention the garbage issue.

Yellowstone National Park has always held a special place in my heart. I've been visiting the park on an annual basis since 1999 (sometimes several times a year) and each trip is unique and special in its own right.

In 2008, I brought my Dad to Yellowstone over the Thanksgiving holiday and the weather was amazing...cool & crisp but not cold and unbearable. We hiked for several hours every day and had the time of our lives. One morning we set out on an 8-mile hike. It had snowed a couple of inches the previous night and 1/2 mile into the hike we discovered we were following the tracks of a large grizzly bear. For the next 3 miles we walked in the footprints left by the great bear, armed only with bear spray, but never did see the bruin. Seeing my Dad's face light up when he realized the tracks were not very old and that we were not 'alone in the wilderness' was priceless. Because of that trip, I realized I wanted to spend as much time as possible with my Dad, enjoying moments like those while we still had the opportunity. Life is so incredibly short!!!

Then in 2012, my entire family was able to join me in Yellowstone to celebrate my birthday. It was in that moment I decided this is where my heart is and in order to experience more lasting memories with my entire family I needed to have a place for them to call their 'home-away-from-home'.

Together, my Dad & I purchased this cabin as place to relax, watch the wildlife, fish the Yellowstone River and most importantly build more lasting memories. Being able to give my Dad the gift of owning a cabin means so much to me.

As a Vietnam Vet and someone who grew up without modern conveniences (ie: running water & indoor plumbing), owning a cabin was never on his radar. My Dad is the most kind-hearted, caring person I know and he would go the extra mile for those he cares about. Being able to give back to him was a dream come true and helping to make his dreams come true is what life is all about!!

We chose this cabin because of the proximity to Yellowstone National Park and the fact that it is located right on the Yellowstone River. We can literally fish right from the banks outside the cabin and grill the fish minutes later while enjoying the evening from the patio...all without leaving the cabin.

We named the cabin, 'The Grizzly Den' for a couple of reasons, 1) Grizzlies are my passion (I've been studying them since 1999) and seeing them in the wild is a most special and unforgetable moment (for anyone), and 2) on our trip to purchase the cabin we were fortunate enough to locate a grizzly den high on a mountain slope and after watching through our scope for several hours the sow emerged with two cubs-of-the-year. Talk about an amazing moment!!!

Also, the Park boundary is less than 1500 feet from the driveway and the North Entrance to Yellowstone is only 4-miles away. We wanted something close to the park but not overly commercialized or populated. This cabin was close, convenient and had the space we needed.

With 2 bedrooms (4 queen beds) and 2 full bathrooms, a full kitchen, dining area, living room and covered patio, we knew our needs were covered. Being able to share this property with others is exciting. Each trip to Yellowstone is different and offers a whole new experience. Whether you are coming for adventure, hiking, sight-seeing, fishing, wildlife viewing or photography this is the place to be!!

It was also important to me that we had a cabin where wildlife were welcome. Occasionally we will have bison, deer or elk in the yard and rarely a grizzly bear.

The unique benefits of The Grizzly Den Cabin on the Yellowstone Riverfront include the amazing views of Electric Peak and the Devils Slide. Located right on the Yellowstone Riverfront our guests are able to fish directly from the banks outside the cabin. You have the wonderful, serene setting watching the sunrise from behind the mountain to the east as it lights up the valley and Sepulcher Mountain.

Get up early to enjoy elk & mule deer grazing just off the patio. We can't guarantee they will be there but most guests are fortunate to enjoy their presence at least once throughout their stay.

For those that enjoy walking, the Park boundary is just 1500 from the driveway and only 4 miles from the North Entrance to YNP at Gardiner via a gravel road.

Enjoy the quite, tranquil setting listening to the Yellowstone River flow by. Watch rafters enjoy the river as they float by the cabin. Fish the Yellowstone River (accessible various times of the year - just feet from the cabin door).

The Grizzly Den cabin is open and available to reserve year-round and we encourage our guests to visit the Yellowstone National Park during different times of the year as each experience offers something new and different.
