☼ Kaunis Maine Lakefront Getaway ☼

Kaunis Maine-järvenranta-pakopaikka tarjoaa kaikki modernit mukavuudet perinteisessä leirityylisessä kolmen makuuhuoneen kodeissa turmeltumattoman sapattipäivän järven rannalla, 1. 5 kilometrin järven Sebago Lakesin alueella. Tämä on toinen kausi.

Nauti upeista näkymistä järvelle kahdesta kannesta, upouusi 20-jalkainen telakka, olohuone, keittiö ja makuuhuone. Meillä on oma laituri yksityisellä rantaalueella ja jaettu yksityinen ranta muutaman askeleen päässä asunnonomistajayhdistyksellemme.

Nauti uintia, kalastusta, melontaa, melontaa tai vain istua alas ja kuunnella hirviöitä ja etsiä kaljuja kotkia. Modernit mukavuudet ovat wi-fi, pesukone / kuivausrumpu, mikroaaltouuni, 50-tuumainen televisio, pieni toimistotila. Hiljattain remontoitu keittiö ja kylpyhuone.

Meillä on kaksi kajakkeja, kanootti ja kaksi käytettävissä olevaa vavat.

Et koskaan halua lähteä leiristä, mutta jos et, olemme vain 24 mailin päässä Portlandista, 17 kilometrin päässä Freeportista ja muutaman minuutin päässä Maine Wildlife Parkista, Sabbathday Lake Shaker Villageista, Pineland Farmsista ja Oxford Casinosta. Olemme myös vain muutaman minuutin päässä golfkentistä, ostosmahdollisuuksista ja ravintoloista.

Great Lake house

We enjoyed our time at Sabbathday Lake. Great Lake view with kayaking. Saw an eagle and loons. Great ice cream on the other side of the lake. Nice clean accommodations. Would highly recommend.

Perfect location

We loved staying here!!! It was quaint and cozy which is what we expected. The lake was beautiful! The fishing wasn’t good but that can’t be controlled. Jerry was great with communication. This camp was close enough to everywhere we wanted to go. It made for a fabulous 2 weeks in beautiful Maine.

As expected!

Great place with a well stocked home. The lake is beautiful. While outside, the road is noisy except at night. It has its own kayaks and canoe, life jackets and fishing gear.

Beautiful location

Sabbathday Lake is beautiful. We loved sitting on the deck watching the day begin, and we got some great sunset shots as well. The house is very clean, very well stocked, on a private cul-de-sac with a community beach for the residents only. There is no private beach. The dock and decks are wonderful. We were surprised that the rooms are rather small and we didn’t know about the narrow, steep staircase to the master bedroom. We were very pleased with the fully equipped kitchen. Overall, the house had everything we needed and we were very happy. We even heard the loons!

Nice Lake getaway

We had a wonderful stay here. The hosts were extremely responsive to our questions and responded immediately. The home was very clean and had everything you could possibly need, and then some. There was comfortable seating in the living areas and the beds were also very comfortable. It would be awesome if there were less tree cover in the back so the view of the lake was more clear. But sitting on the dock was a beautiful view. Neighbors kept to themselves. The hosts kept a great binder of places to visit / restaurant recommendations in the area and we relied heavily on that when looking to venture out. The Maine wildlife park was amazing. My daughter loved it. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Relaxing stay on Sabbathday Lake

My husband and I just spent the most relaxing week at this property on Sabbathday Lake. We enjoyed coffee outside each morning on the dock or the upper deck, we cooked dinner on the grill a few nights, and bought lobsters and steamers at the Fisherman's Net in Gray to cook at the house. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, and more. The lake is very peaceful, and while the house is close to neighbors we did not see a lot of activity. Those neighbors that we did see were very friendly. The house is clean and the beds are very comfortable, and our host was quick to respond to questions. We would definitely recommend this place and would not hesitate to stay there again. Overall, we had a great week! Thank you Jerry and Robyn for opening up your home to us!

Perfect Getaway

We had a wonderful time at this property. The house sits on the south side of the lake and enjoys a nice breeze off the water. We swam right in front of the house and at the community beach 2 properties away. The water was warmer than we anticipated it would be. The house itself is wonderful. There was plenty of room for the 5 or 6 people we had there, depending on which adult child was coming by. If you forget something, don't worry, they probably have it somewhere in the house. We will definitely be back again. In closing; you have to go to the ice cream place at Outlet Beach..it is amazing and check out NU Brewery in New Gloucester, especially if you happen to be there for one of the Fridayfests.

Beautiful spot on the lake, and a very cozy cabin. We enjoyed the accessibility to Portland, the lighthouses and the fall leaves were wonderful. Some maintenance needed.

This is a lovely lakeside cottage. The house is comfortable and really well-equipped, everything you need is there, especially well- equipped kitchen. It appears the owners use the house and just leave everything there. It is very homey. And the lake is beautiful. I went kayaking every day. Great to have the beach too. The interior pictures don't quite do the place justice. It is really beautifully decorated. The interior stairs are a bit steep for older folks to use the master bedroom, but manageable for most people. And the view from that bedroom is spectacular. This is the best lakeside rental we have ever had.
This was the best sunset.

We had a lot of fun on the lake and spent a ton of time on the deck and the dock. All the boats and paddles were functional, and we had a great time paddling and swimming. We especially enjoyed kayaking/canoing over to the gourmet ice cream shop http://brescaandthehoneybee.com/ on the other end of the lake. On the way back to the house we stopped for a swim at a lovely little swimming beach. We fished daily and caught huge bass right off the dock. Neighbors were pleasant and friendly. We enjoyed fires on the shared beach fire pits.The local brewery was great too, only 6 minutes away, which had live music on the patio on Saturday night and fantastic pizza and beer. Supermarket and farm stands are nearby for groceries. The place was very tidy and well equipped with tons of fresh towels and sheets. The kitchen was packed with dishes, glassware and cookware. We did not need any of the spices, oils or vinegars, games, stereo, coffe makers or toys. We brought our own of all of these.The grill worked well and we used it twice. We really enjoyed the outdoor seating and table where we ate and played games a ton. I would bring one of those fly repellent fans bc sometimes the flies come out when you eat outside -sometimes in the evening only. It bears mentioning that the Maine Interstate and a small highway are close to this end of the lake. At home I live near a highway and I had hoped to escape those sounds for the week, it wasn't loud but it was there.

All the comforts of home with great Lake views, close to everything else you might need

3 Mini split ACs for total cooling was an absolute delight as was the WIFI! Fully adorned kitchen and an amazing primary suite with great lake views from all lake facing windows. An updated ensuite shower and bathroom on the second floor was wonderful. There is a queen front bedroom on the first floor with access to the first floor bathroom/tub shower. There are additional twin double beds upstairs as well, off the primary. The primary bedroom has an incredibly comfortable king bed. Fishing was steady, and you DO need water shoes (which our Host Jerry pointed out well in advance), if you take a dip off the dock due to the rocky bottom. There’s a shared beach 2 doors down that has a sandy and gradual grade into the water. A Canoe and 3 kayaks await. Jerry is accessible, prompt, detailed and accommodating should you have questions. This is a lovely home and we enjoyed our stay, as well as the lake, dock, view, A/C and access to Hannaford’s Supermarket and Pineland Farms café, bakery and shop - not to be missed.

Family vacation

The property on the lake was just what we needed. We enjoyed coffee and reading on the deck and dock. It was wonderful to use the kayaks and paddle boards. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had all the cooking tools you could need. It is close by many great things to visit.

Fantastic Stay!!!

Traveled from New Mexico to visit with my son. I was looking for a place which would be near my son's residence giving us a centralized place to meet. It was just a few minutes away from my son's residence. House served all our needs and was clean and neat. Beautiful views from windows and deck. Will definitely stay again!!!

Private yet close to amenities

Compact cottage with everything you might need and more. Plenty of towels and extra supplies. The beach is shady and the water is nice and shallow for small children. We especially appreciated the air conditioning upstairs and downstairs and the both the king and queen beds were very comfortable. Our hosts were quick to answer our questions about the fishing tackle and we loved seeing the hummingbirds on the window feeder. A nice bonus was the $10 lobster rolls from nearby Hannaford and our daughter in law got to see a moose for the first time at the Maine Wildlife Center.

Relaxing Time

We had a wonderful stay during our trip to Maine. The house is beyond stocked with all that you need for your week - beds were comfy and the view of the pond from the master bedroom was stunning. Great location to day trip to Freeport and Portland.

July Stay

The camp itself and sleeping quarters were very nice with all the amenities. Issues we noticed… No cupboard space for food as cupboards were full. No beach area on the lake. No view from deck. Pitch on all deck furniture. Lower deck was overgrown and not clean which I personally cleaned up. Trash bins were full when we arrived. Owner did have them emptied. The pictures provided were very deceiving and did not represent the view.

Great location

Great stay in Jerry and Robyn’s cabin on a quiet lake. Enjoyed evening kayak and proximity to Portland, Freeport, the animal park and the Shaker Village. Hosts incredibly helpful and responsive.

Wonderful Vacation Spot

Can not say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay at this wonderful lakehouse. The owners were easily accessible and responsive. This is a rental I would and hope to return to again!
