* Tarjoamme nyt 2 kajakin käyttöä vuokralaisillemme loman aikana. Nauti katsomassa delfiinejä "Czech Mate" -kadulta, jolla on oma ranta Mississippi Sound- / Bay-puolelle! Kotimme on vain lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä West End Beachistä. Nauti viehättävistä näkymistä veteen (Gulf & Sound) jokaisesta ikkunasta! Tässä kauniissa kodissa on graniitti työtasot, laattalattia, kruunun muotoilu ja avoin pohjaratkaisu. Rentoudu takakuistilla katsomassa villieläimiä ja veneitä kauniilla lahden puolella tai talon edestä katsomalla ja kuulemalla Meksikonlahden aaltoja. Vain muutaman askeleen päässä Soundin rannalta ja Persianlahdella. Voit meloa melossa Soundin talon takana. Pyöräilyreitti kulkee West Endistä kaupungin läpi. Voit tuoda omat polkupyörät tai vuokrata yhden tielle. Siellä on 4 makuuhuonetta, vuodepaikkoja 10 (3 queen beds, 2 erillistä vuodetta ja 2 rullaluiskua). 2 kylpyhuonetta master-kylpyammeella, jossa on suihkukaappi. Liinavaatteet ja pyyhkeet. Lemmikkieläinystävällinen (enintään 2 koiraa ja ei palauteta). Lemmikkieläinmaksu on 75 dollaria per koira, jos 2 koiraa. 100 dollaria yhdestä koirasta. Tupakointi on kielletty. Hotellissa on 5 televisiota (1 jokaisessa makuuhuoneessa ja 1 suuressa huoneessa, jossa on DVD-soitin). Ruokapöydässä 6 ja aamiaisbaarissa on 4 baarituolia. Mukavuuksiin kuuluvat: Ulkosuihku, satelliitti t. v., Internet, astiat, ruokailuvälineet, sähköliesi, ruuanlaittoastia, astianpesukone, mikroaaltouuni, liesi, uuni, ruostumattomasta teräksestä valmistettu jääkaappi, kahvinkeitin, pesukone / kuivausrumpu, leivänpaahdin, lautapelejä, kirjoja, dvd-levyjä ja hiiligrilli talon alla. Mississippi Sound / Bay -puolella on hieno kalastus, ja delfiinejä havaitaan usein sekä Persianlahden että Äänestä. Voit levätä takaisin ja rentoutua kuistilla tai Rattan-köydellä, joka on talon alla.

Päästäksesi Persianlahden rannalle kävele vain muutaman askeleen tien yli ja voit asettaa katosteltan, tuolit jne. Tämän voi tehdä vapaasti. Mississippi Sound / Bay -puolella sijaitsevalle rannalle kävele vain talon takaportaita pitkin ja sinulla on oma yksityinen rantasi Soundiin asti. West End Beach on myös lähellä taloa.

Ole hyvä ja pidä koiranne kirppu- ja punkkien ehkäisyvalmistuksessa. Dauphin-saaren kaupunki vaatii vain tiedoksi, että kaikki koirat ovat hihnassa ja kiinnitettävä asianmukaisesti ulkona, ja vaatii myös, että vuokrakohteiden pihoilta, rannoilta ja julkisilta alueilta tulevat koiran jätteet kerätään ja hävitetään asianmukaisesti. When we entered Czech Mate it was even better than the photos! It’s very clean; decorated nicely; the temperature was set at 70 with the quiet ceiling fans going; beautiful views of the Gulf from the front windows and the Bay from the back windows and doors. The couch and loveseat were perfect for me to sit on while reading when it rained. My husband loved the recliner. The beds we slept in were comfortable; the ceiling fan in the Gulf side queen bedroom is quiet and positioned to keep the bed cool at night (so important to a woman of a certain age, lol!). I loved seeing the all the books although I was reading one already on my Kindle.The outside shower is located perfectly on the lower stairs, so you don’t have to walk in the sand again from under the house after using it. We were there 8 nights and had no issues at all - there were plenty of bath and kitchen towels; even beach towels although we’d brought our own; nice pots and pans and plenty of dishes and silverware. I appreciated the list of restaurants on the fridge with closed days noted. We LOVED being able to walk to the nice private beach on the Bay side (my and the dogs favorite). It was nice to enjoy the waves and view on the Gulf side also (thank you Molly for the map that eliminated confusion about where we could sit!). We kayaked one day and it was amazingly peaceful and beautiful paddling up to West Beach - we even saw 2 dolphins! Sitting in the swing under the house was nice too. Great house!

Very nice house and right on the beach. Host was very sweet and helpful. Place was very clean. Still having the post vacation blues having to leave Czech Mate. Dauphin Island was very relaxed when we went post labor day(perfect for us), but plenty to do for a 5 day stay.

We had an amazing time at Czech mate. Our group ranged from 4-40 and a great time was had by all. Nothing lacked at this property. Kids enjoyed all the games, kayaks and even caught blue crabs with the trap. The property was clean, and spacier than we anticipated. the bay side that the house backs up too was perfect for our group. We had the full beach experience without ever walking over to the gulf side. We even watched dolphins just past the oyster cages on several occasions. Fishing was also great for the kids. Only complaint is the trip went by too fast… would recommend 10/10

Nothing short of perfection!

We absolutely loved the house. The floor plan is amazing with Gulf and/or Bay views from all major rooms. The description is accurate then some! The swings under the house catch the gulf breeze and are very enjoyable. Both porches offer spectaculars views and plenty of seating. Plenty of utensils for meal prep in the kitchen. The living area is spacious and bright. Both bathrooms are spacious. The house was clean and organized. The first couple of days we had rain showers. It was very relaxing. We enjoyed those rainy days very much.We loved the location of the house. A very short walk to the Bay as well as the Gulf. Both areas have nice beaches for setting up a canopy and beach chairs. We set up beachside between 2 neighboring houses. The shelling is absolutely amazing. Piles of beautiful offerings from the Gulf. We were there the week of July 4th and our area was not at all crowded. We were a short drive from restaurants and gift shops. We sat on the front porch and watched the fireworks. We will stay again. It was the perfect beach house. Side note…my personal favorite were the books. Shelves of books. I read 2 while we were there. Perfect summer reads! We highly recommend Chech Mate!! Thank you for hosting or family!

Great Area For Family Reunion

2922 was perfect in so many ways. 4 bedrooms off a decent sized living area; a dining area and a fully equipped kitchen. The rooms were tastefully and comfortably appointed. I particularly appreciated comfortable chairs and reading lights. Front and back porches had chairs and pillows and became gathering places. Gates available on the porches to restrain small children or dogs. And kayaks!Our teenage boy said his bed was a little harder than he was used to but other than that! Owners were great to communicate with. Fun time had by all, especially watching sunsets and lightning storms.

Great family and friends trip

The property was beautiful. Even better than the pictures show. The gates on the deck were the winning feature with two 3 year olds and the dogs. Overall excellent place and stay. 10/10 would stay here again.

Family friendly and great location

We have a large family and this rental suited us perfectly. The location was great--felt secluded but also close to public beach, and your own beach too if you wanted. We'd definitely come back again!

Short family vacation

The property was very nice( and clean) and accurately depicted online. WE loved having our own private beach right outside the back door. It was great for hanging out and swimming with the dog. The only downside was the West End beach(which is closest public beach to this property) was not dog friendly, so we had to get in the car to go for a long walk. The streets were also flooded which could have been a big problem if we had not had a truck and SUV.

Wonderful time

This was our first time on Dauphin Island and we loved it! The uncrowded, laid back feel of the island was amazing. The food was great and easy for us to pick up at Skinners for dinners at the house. We were traveling with a 3yo and 4yo so it was nice to eat dinner and then play on the beach until sunset. The gulf was just across the street but we enjoyed the bay side more. The kids were able to play on the water without worry of waves. Will definitely be back!

Great Location

The location is great, close enough to walk to the west end beach and right across the street from the Gulf. If you have any mobility/knee issues be aware the stairs are extremely steep!! The housecleaning could have been better. Some of the linens hadn't been washed (which we discovered the 2nd night, the first no one slept in that bed) including one of the bedrooms and the throw blankets in the living room and there was visible dirt along the edges in the bathroom. While these are little things that we were easily able to deal with, I feel the owner/manager isn't getting the service they are paying a cleaning service for. Overall, I would stay here again.

Great Vacation Spot

We had a great week!! This place is very roomy and clean and had everything we needed. We were in walking distance of the West beach and spent a lot of time there. We watched the dolphins one morning and went for a lot of walks. This is a great place to stay and we hope to come back some day!! Thank you so much for letting us stay.

Always a wonderful stay!!

Owners are wonderful! We have stayed here multiple times and will continue to do so. Home is perfectly located on the bay side within a couple minutes walk to the west end beach. Just across the street is access to the gulf. Hurricane Milton was coming in while we were there so every day was a red flag day on the gulf. PLEASE OBEY THE FLAGS!!! You can also now access the west end beach from the bay side which is nice!

Perfect, peaceful getaway

This is truly a hidden gem and we cannot wait to come back! The bay side beach was oir absolute favorite - we had it to ourselves. Our pups had a blast and the outdoor shower was perfect for them. The place is wonderfully appointed - beach towels and toystowela

Fantastic trip on the bayside

We had 4 21 year old girls and 2 26 year olds with my husband and me on this trip. We had no internet service for 5 days and hardly missed it! The landlord had games, DVDs, and books galore at the rental house. The landlord had really fast fiber optic internet service installed while we were still there so that should not be an issue for anyone else. Being on the bayside was wonderful because there were red flags on the gulfside on 6 of the 7 days we were there. We saw dolphins while we were in the water. There were lots of fish jumping right out of the water also. There’s also an oyster farm right out in the bay, which was really neat.

Great location

Home is in a great location. We enjoyed being able to alternate going to to bay or beach side. Lots of games available to play, kayaks to borrow, and roll a way beds. Sleeping arrangements accommodated our large family well. We had an issue with one shower having lots of mold and mildew but the washing machine was the biggest concern. The towels all smelled really bad when they became damp. This is probably because the door on the front loading machine wasn’t left open. We didn’t feel comfortable washing laundry in the machine with the mold all along the inside seal of the washer. The owners were quick to respond and sent someone to clean the shower and the standing water in the washing machine between the seal and tub; however, the mold couldn’t be removed without replacing the inside seal. This didn’t occur before we left so we weren’t able to wash anything. A washing machine/dryer is a big must for our large family when traveling on vacation so this was a disappointment. The owners are very responsive and did get the initial concerns addressed 3 days into our week long stay but that still didn’t allow us to wash laundry since the necessary repair wasn’t done. Other cleanliness issues included mold under the rims of sinks and in the kitchen sprayer as well as dirty skillets in cabinets. The pots/pans are needing replaced so they are difficult to clean when non stick coating has been scratched up. The home is in a nice location and maintained but housekeeping needs addressed

Our family has been vacationing on beautiful Dauphin Island, Alabama for years. It is our peaceful sanctuary & we would start to dread to leave the island days before we had to go back to Tennessee. God has blessed us immensely by allowing us to finally have a permanent home on the island. Words cannot describe how thankful we are to our Lord for giving us this peace of heaven on such a picturesque island. The house was named “Czech Mate” due to our Czechoslovakian ancestry. From seeing dolphins to swimming in the waves of the gulf or bay or watching the beautiful sunsets in the evening (Dauphin Island is the Sunset Capital of Alabama), we cannot get enough of this amazing place. We know you will enjoy our home & incredible Dauphin Island as much as we do!!

Dauphin Island, Alabama is such a unique, quaint, beach town. We love the quietness of the island & the beauty & charm. We like that Dauphin Island is not overrun by tourist sites, but has many fun activities for all ages. We chose this location for it's closeness to the Gulf & the Bay/Mississippi Sound. We have the best of both worlds, with the Gulf & the Sound just steps from our home. We also have a private beach behind the house, & we love the West End of the island.

We wanted to see & hear the Gulf/Ocean waves from our home & the Mississippi Sound, so this was the absolute perfect place for us! It never gets old opening the curtains in the morning & seeing the fins of dolphins break the surface. The sunsets are beautiful from our location & the peace & tranquility of our area is a sanctuary to us.
