Uusi omistaja toivottaa sinut tervetulleeksi Bear Creek Cabiniin. "Karhu" sijaitsee rauhallisella, metsäisellä rinteellä Blue Ridge -vuorilla, josta on näkymät kauniille Rush Island Creek -vuorelle, lähellä Fancy Gapiä, VA. Viehättävä ja viihtyisä, tämä 1 vuode / 1 kylpy täysi hirsimökki sopii mainiosti romanttiseen viikonlopun pakopaikkaan tai viikon viettoon. "Bear" mahtuu 4 vierasta ja siinä on makuuhuone w / queen-size-sänky ja vuodesohva holvattuun päähuoneeseen. Kahden hengen sisätiloissa oleva poreallas, jossa on takka, on täydellinen, että se on intiimi, rentouttava kylpyläkokemus. Erillisessä kylpyammeessa on täysi ylimitoitettu suihku, jossa on istuin. Täysin varusteltu keittiö ja aamiainen tarjoavat kaikki aterian valmistelu- ja ruokailutarpeesi.
Ulkopuolella täyspitkä katettu kuisti istuinalue tarjoaa upeat näkymät puro, täydentää rauhoittava luonnon ääniä ja kosken alla. Tai nauti yksityisestä metsäisestä kannesta, joka sijaitsee lähellä veden reunaa.
Alemman tason yksityinen pelihuone on varustettu uima-altaalla / pingispöydällä, tikanheitolla, korttipöydällä, lautapeleillä ja ylimääräisellä vuodesohvaistuimella hauskoja kuormia varten. Täysi pesukone ja kuivausrumpu täyttävät myös tilan. Muita katettuja istuimia ja joko kaasu- tai hiiligrillien grillit lisäävät ulkona hauskaa tällä tasolla.
Ulkouima-rengas on ihanteellinen paikka nauttia iltaisin, jotka on täytetty paahtamalla S'mores tai lasillista viiniä yhdessä. Meidän creekside huvimaja swing, ja yksityinen puinen kansi oleskelualue, varaa rauhallinen lepo tai lukemisen ilo samalla upotettu luonnon rauhallinen kauneus. Peaceful weekend

This was our second time to this place. We picked it again because it was exactly what we wanted. Away from all things busy. Rick is a great host. We didn't have any needs but he was attentive to things as we came in and left. This is a great place to get away and just have a peaceful relaxing weekend. It is a quiet cabin in the woods above a stream, the stream gives a great background sound of peace for sure. The time away from all distractions is the bonus. We will be back.

Already planning to visit again!

My partner and I really enjoyed our stay. We are already planning another trip back next year. It was the perfect weekend getaway. We also found two really nice brewery’s (White elephant brewery & Thirsty souls brewery) close to the cabin right in Mt. Airy, NC. Definitely recommend checking it out!

Perfect small place

Beautiful cabin overlooking a good flowing mountain stream. I took a video of the stream and it's sound and play it at work sometimes to relax. I would definitely recommend this as a good get-away.

A Little Piece of Heaven

Rick, Thank you for sharing your wonderful cabin with us. The stay was very peaceful and relaxing. We took advantage of the wood stove and the jacuzzi-and made smores around the fire pit. Great weekend get away , the space was Clean & nicely decorated, a Rustic Log Cabin Facing a beautiful creek, nice area for a picnic by the creek, the front porch was our favorite, nice place to have my Quiet coffe in the mornings! The area was beautiful,we walked down by the creek & on the road ,was greeted by 2 cows & a donkey.. they were safe, they were scared of us...seen some deer as well! Would highly recommend for a space to enjoy a romantic get away or even a friends get away ,also has a very nice firepit!

So relaxing and peaceful

This cabin was a fabulous retreat! We had everything we needed for relaxation and much needed quiet time. The bed was super comfy and sitting on the porch with morning coffee while listening to the creek below could not have been more peaceful. The jacuzzi/spa tub was a special treat. We enjoyed visiting Mabry Mill as well as the "off the beaten path" drive to get there. Walking along the creek was an amazing bonus.

Little piece of heaven

Honestly never been a place I stayed to where it was this accommodating and clean. Soon as I walked in a nice fragrance caught my senses and I began to smile. Even though it was dead of winter made me feel like it was spring. Furniture very up to date. 2 robes hanging by the hot tub. Didn't even bother us there wasn't any wi-fi. We enjoyed the DVD's that were there. Other times sitting out on the large porch taking in the fresh air. Several different games to enjoy downstairs. Loved the inner kid coming out of us all.. A nice still down to the swing listening to the waterfalls and the mini river. I could go on and on but don't want to take all of the fun out of it for you all. I can't wait until my next adventure there. You should definitely give it a try and be sure to tell Rick (Tiffany) sent you :).

A Beautiful Setting

My sister and I enjoyed a short getaway to this quaint cabin in the woods. You can walk out the door and do a hike or find a trail along the parkway. In addition to enjoying the fall colors, we could hear the creek below the cabin. Very peaceful. My Prius had a hard time climbing the last hill to the cabin. A 4-wheel drive is really needed. We are particular about cleanliness and it did not meet our standards.

Room for improvement

Overall the cabin and trip was great but there were a few things lacking… towels, washcloths and sheets need to be replaced then washed with bleach after each use! Some of the ones we had were dingy and almost see thru with a few holes. Thank goodness there was detergent left previously so we washed the best of the ones we had even though when you’re on vacation laundry is the last thing you want to do! One roll of toilet paper is not enough for 2 people staying for 5 nights but we have learned to have some with us in emergency such as this as there was none other than less than half a roll in the bathroom for us. The grills were beyond nasty and probably need to be replaced too. Luckily we brought our small one. The cabin was clean and it is a great location with the creek! Doubt we’ll be back though…

A Perfect Stay Alongside Rushing Waters

Rick and his groundskeepers are simply the best hosts. The details in the listing are just as things really are. His communications were precise, timely and very helpful. The location of the property is so ideal to disconnect from a hectic pace, reconnect with your loved ones and simply slow down and enjoy the journey of the surroundings. We felt safe, secure and supported if any needs arose during our 7-night stay. The master suite floor was cozy and supplied with everything we needed. Extra blankets, pillows, towels and a supply of laundry soap were so thoughtful. All of the appliances were in good working order. Nice option of a large Keurig brewer and a standard 12-cup drip coffee machine. We used the 12 cupper all week. The water pressure and quality were good for cooking, cleaning and drinking. The central air/heating unit kept us at our comfort point. We used this beautiful place as a hub to visit interesting spots in Virginia, West Virginia and North Carolina. The Crooked Road music trail was a highlight of the area. The 2 rainy days "forced" us to stay at the property and enjoy some walks and a few games of pool in the lower level. Our best experience at a VRBO hosted property by far.

Great Cabin! Peaceful & Relaxing!

This is the second time we've been to this particular cabin, and we loved it just as much this time as the last! The best sound when you arrive is the sound of the rushing water down the hill at the river, that sound never gets old. The inside of the cabin was very clean on arrival and had everything we needed for a weekend stay. There is a swing overlooking the river, but the steps going down the hill are steep and you have to be very careful walking down. The river is very clear and shallow so you can walk around in it or if you bring kids it would be a good spot for them to play. The downstairs has the foosball (which we did not play), a radio with CDs to play (some throwbacks!), a card table, couch, and pool table. We took advantage of the large selection of DVDs in the cabin because there is no TV service. However, the Verizon signal is great, so we brought our Firestick and connected via our hotspot! We didn't use the Jacuzzi tub this time so not sure how that is. An SUV with AWD or 4WD would be best because the driveway is very steep going in and out. We drove an AWD SUV this time and it was much better that the RWD car we drove last time. While it is true that the cabins are very close together, I knew this from last time, and also the listing mentions they are side by side, so I was prepared. So don't expect to be alone, you can look straight across to the neighbors porch. While not ideal, we didn't have any problems. (It would be nice to have some sort of privacy shade or something for the porch.) While the cabin was very, very clean, there were some issues we noticed during our stay that were a little annoying... however, these can be fixed easily and wouldn't keep me from coming back...the gas grill needs replacing because it isn't working properly and doesn't feel safe, the pool table and cues could use work, it's warped and very wobbly and the cues have no tips, and the kitchen sink sprayer was broke so we couldn't spray dishes off and you are required to wash them before you leave. Also the couch is coming apart and peeling, and they keep it covered with a blanket to hide it, little pieces of vinyl still get everywhere. This could definitely stand to be replaced. Overall, We really enjoyed a nice weekend of doing nothing in prep for our second child coming soon! An evening thunderstorm with the sound of the rain falling along with the rushing river and distant thunder was so relaxing! We hope to visit again in the future!

I'm committed to my tenants having an enjoyable cabin stay and relaxing experience. There is nothing like getting away in the great outdoors for some adventure, R&R, peace and fun - whatever you're seeking. I want to share and provide that opportunity for my guests with nice, clean accommodations.
