ERITTÄINEN HUOMAUTUS: Vrbo muutti listauskäytäntöään yksipuolisesti ja aloitti myyntiveron keräämisen. Va Beachille, joka on 6%, he eivät kuitenkaan säätäneet 8%: n turistivero ja 2 dollarin keräämistä. 00 per yöhuonevero. Kiinteistö tunnetaan nimellä Dolphin Run Condos. Yksikköäni päivitettiin äskettäin uudella ruostumattomasta teräksestä valmistetulla keraamisella ylähelmällä, graniittitasolla, uudella king-vuoteella makuuhuoneessa ja tuoreella maalauksella pirteillä merivärillä. Voit istua parvekkeella ja katsella valtameren aaltoja ja veneitä menemässä ulos ja palaamasta venesatamaan VIA Rudee's Inlet. Toisinaan saatat nähdä delfiinien juoksevan! Kalastusta haluaville voit kalastaa heti Rudeen sisääntulon laiturilta tai mennä kadun poikki ja järjestää syvänmeren kalastusmatka. Beach hopping

The view is amazing and the condo came with everything we could want. Howard always responded quickly. We had some travel snafus and Howard let us know that the condo would be there for us.

Wonderful beach vacation

What a stunning building! It offers a serene atmosphere, convenient onsite parking, and direct access to the beautiful beachfront. With fantastic restaurants and charming shops just a leisurely stroll away, and its close proximity to the Navy base, this location couldn’t be more perfect. We absolutely loved our stay and can’t wait to return!

First: VRBO. My cc was charged on 12/28.2024. CC was not supposed to be charged immediately as I had till Jan. 6 to change/cancel. On Ja. 3 I changed my reservation from 18 days to 14 days but I was denied a credit. I am asking for this credit.Condo: we had aunts in the kitchen all the time coming from ceiling, faucet in bath tub second bedroom not working properly, water not hot; carpet in second bedroom is filthy. Building: Could not use pool, dirty water with algae. Due to our complaint, pool was cleaned but no follow-up. Two days later was the same. Lot of stain in pool plaster.

Great Unit.

This was a great unit. It had everything that we needed for a relaxing vacation. We got a little rain on Saturday afternoon, but it didn't ruin anything because of the balcony that look over the boardwalk and the beach. We enjoyed drinks and watched the surfers until the rain stopped. In front of the unit was plenty of shopping and places to eat. It was comforting to know that security was always available. Howard was a great host and was always available for any questions we had. We plan on coming back to Virigina and hope this unit will be available when we return.

Our second time staying with this host at this location. We enjoyed our time, just wished we would have researched what was going on at the beach beforehand as there was a lot of construction for the ECSC.

Fabulous Stay

The property is located in a perfect place so the beach is not over crowded. Easy check-in and out instructions. It was nice not to worry about a room key. Staff at the condo were very pleasant and helpful. Condo was clean. The property manager was always quick with a response if you needed anything..highly recommend!!!!

First time stay, would book again!

Our stay Aug 4 -9 was very enjoyable! This was our first time at VB, and the location was great, the beach was not crowded, and the shopping was easily accessible by walking. Our unit was clean and very functional for 4 adults and 2 teens. The pool was clean, check in was easy, and parking garage was accessible with our SUV. Our host communicated well and in a timely manner. The balconies were being worked on but our view was not obstructed and they started working well after we went to the beach most days. We were able to use the space every evening. Highly recommend this host and location for a relaxing stay at the beach!

Mediocre stay with multiple issues

Check-in was fine. We stayed from a Saturday to a Wednesday. Howard provided garage and condo codes in advance, and the Dolphin Run staff confirmed everything was good to go. Initially, the condo seemed fine, but upon entering we immediately noticed the view was obstructed with construction ropes. Things went downhill from there. The bedsheets were dirty with hair and crumbs. Despite notifying Howard and sending pictures, we didn't receive a response for TWO days, and the issue was never resolved. The floors were also dirty with food remnants found in multiple rooms. The WiFi was unreliable, which is definitely not ideal for remote work or streaming a conference call. The network is apparently shared with all of Dolphin Run and has known capacity issues. On our second day, the power went out briefly, leaving only one elevator operational. The view and beach access were also obstructed by a large black tube, part of some dredging project? Morning surf classes also limited ocean access. Construction on the balconies resumed Monday and Tuesday, with loud sawing at 8am disrupting our mornings. The sound was very unpleasant. Overall, the stay was not great. The condo felt run-down, which seems typical for older beachfront properties. The indoor pool was decent, and there were at least some nearby restaurants and shops. Howard was initially responsive but less so after issues arose. I can't recommend this place or Dolphin Run. We won't be returning.

Really liked the layout of the condo. Nice kitchen and family space. Unfortunately, there was work being done on the balcony’s on the building so we didn’t get to spend much time outside. Otherwise, we had a nice stay.

Convenient Location

Room was clean and well equipped. Location is very close walking distance to good restaurants which is a big plus. Facilities are somewhat dated but OK. We arrived at the end of a festival which had access to the boardwalk and beach closed off in front of building which was disappointing. It opened up on our last day. The property manager was very responsive and great to work with. We will probably go back again but will be careful not to book around any festivals.

Disappointed - no notification of highly disruptive construction

I reserved this condo for the oceanfront balcony and quiet location, particularly for my elderly mother who has mobility issues and planned to enjoy the balcony all day, every day. Due to construction, there were ropes from the scaffolding obstructing our view to the ocean. (This was a minor inconvenience; however, guests planning to stay at the condo in the coming weeks should know that the balcony will soon be completely off limits.) What was the most disappointing was the noise. Not only could we not enjoy the balcony between 8am and 5pm, we couldn’t even stay in the condo. The drilling on the balconies was amplified inside. My mother and I were standing side by side and couldn’t hear one another. It was constant and even worse in the bathroom (to the degree that we couldn’t shower until the construction ended for the day). The listing for this property states construction was being done in 2023. According to the front desk, this construction was planned and property owners were informed. I’m in disbelief that I wasn’t notified prior to my trip. Perhaps for some guests, not having use of the condo or balcony during the day isn’t an issue, but for my mother, it completely ruined her vacation. Had I known this, I would have saved quite a bit of money and rented a condo off oceanfront and without a balcony. I’m emailing the host with recordings of the noise and requesting a partial refund. Hoping they will do the right thing in this case. So disappointing.

We enjoyed our first visit to VA beach. The location of this condo was IDEAL. Literally steps from the beach and the quiet end of the boardwalk but SO close and within walking distance to everything. Communication with Howard was excellent.

Perfect location

The over all property was pretty great. They were in the middle of some cosmetic repairs but it wasn’t disruptive. The owner was very helpful in making sure we got to the right place with all the instructions necessary. My one grip was the check in process, the lady that checked us in was a little on the rude side when we tried to check in earlier than 4pm. The one lady I was in contact with said it would be fine to check in early while the lady that actually checked us in said it would be $75 early check in. Luckily it was waived because we were told it would be ok to come early. I’m not sure why anyone needs to wait to check in so late. But I feel like that is a bit ridiculous and $75 to check in early is also ridiculous. Also it’s $50 per day to park an addition car in their over flow lot which was not relayed to us prior to leaving for our getaway. All in all though it was a lovely stay.

Quick Weekend Get A Way

This is 2nd time staying in complex, but 1st time in this unit. The indoor pool and the wonderful playground on the beach nearby was great for our 4 year old grandson. Wee walked to places to eat and shop a block away sold milk and other items that were convenient, so never had to drive anywhere. It rained off and on and was cloudy the whole time, but we still enjoyed our stay.

The unit is perfect for 2 sets of parents and 2 toddlers…each have their own side of the condo. Ocean view (sunrises and dolphins) was spectacular.

Nice condo

Nice condo in a nice location. Enjoyed sitting on the balcony looking over the beach. Within walking to many shops and restaurants. Watched dolphins for a whole afternoon. Kids enjoyed the pool on cloudy days. Good communication with the owner.

Close to Richmond where I live. Can be there in 2 hours which makes it very convenient. Right on the ocean and boardwalk. Covered deck free parking space for owner or guests.

Living room balcony overlooking ocean and Rudee Inlet to watch the boats exit and enter and to frequently see the dolphins.
