Arkkitehti Tom Murdough on suunnitellut ja valmistunut vuonna 2017, rakastettua kotimme esiteltiin Boston-lehdessä ja se sai myös New Hampshiren amerikkalaisen arkkitehtiinstituutin Merit-palkinnon arkkitehtisuunnittelun erinomaisuudesta. Tule kokemaan Squam-järven kauneutta ja mukavuutta oleskella modernissa valoisassa kodissa. Talo lepää männyissä ja kyydissä hiljaisella laella. Sisältää kanoottilaiturin, kajakkeja, standup-melalautoja, uintilautta, pingispöytä ja kylpytynnyri. Beautiful property. House was wonderful and well stocked and clean. Owner very responsive to questions. Kayaks, canoe, paddle boards were great. Nice calm cove. Saw a Bald Eagle and several loons from the dock and while paddling around. Very close to local amenities. Loved it.

Amazing house and host

Pictures don’t do it justice! Amazing house and property, only thing that could have made it better is if we stayed longer. We will be back! Host was super accommodating and made sure our stay was nothing but excellent.

Wonderful modern lakehouse

Our stay was perfect! The house is as clean as can be! The home is very modern with an organic feel which is perfect over looking the clean quiet lake. My girls enjoyed the hot tub, paddleboards, and kayaks. Couldn’t ask for anything more!

A perfect stay in a perfect place.

The house was precisely as described, and exceeded every expectation. We were very happy there testing and cooking and enjoying all the water sports and toys available for our use. We rented a speedboat which was great fun and docked it right there. It would be difficult to improve upon the experience.

Beautiful modern house near everything

We absolutely loved our stay. The property has everything you need including an amazing view of the lake. The house is modern and just stunning to look at. The WIFI worked well which let me work and my family enjoyed the nearby towns of Meredith and Laconia to explore. The hot tub was a huge fit and the hosts were extremely helpful at answering our questions. We can’t wait to visit during the warm weather!

Magical and Memorable Holiday!

This home is as beautiful as it looks! The hosts were very gracious and thoughtful about making our stay absolutely wonderful. It was the perfect place to spend Christmas with our adult sons and 94-year-old dad. We enjoyed cooking meals together in the large kitchen and gathering around the wood-burning fireplace. We formed memories that will last a lifetime! Thank you David and Sharon for sharing your home with us!

Stunning property, fantastic location

Absolutely beautiful home w/ modern design & excellent layout. Balconies are a wonderful feature, great views & set back from the water Property is well maintained & landscape design is thoughtful as well (very little bugs, which is rare for a lakefront property) Owner has all of the lake toys, amenities available & fantastic hiking trail nearby Only thing id note is the property doesnt have A/C, but somehow it never gets very hot (and we stayed in August) Overall, this was a great trip with no complaints.

The most beautiful relaxing paradise

Wow! It’s hard to describe just how perfect our time was here. Sharon and David (owners) have created a perfect oasis for relaxing and enjoying your surroundings. The house is absolutely gorgeous and with all the glass you feel like you are fully in nature at every turn. The location of the property is perfect! Remote and quiet yet close to Center Harbor and Holderness center. They had everything you need to enjoy your stay and we loved listening to music with a fire going after having enjoyed the hot tub while staring at the lake. The kitchen is a chefs dream. I could go on an on but let’s just say it was the perfect week because we were in the perfect place!

Modern Lakefront Tranquil Oasis

We stayed only for 2 nights around the fourth of July holiday which was too short of a stay. We had our young children and elderly parents stay with us for a quick tranquil getaway. We wish we could have stayed longer...the owners had paddle boards, kayaks(which they were double ones), and canoes.. the access to the water was lovely. Our 5 and 7 year old kiddos loved it! Kitchen is modern. The open floor plan so calming with views of the water. The fire pit was a lovely place to make smores with the kids. Our biggest complaint was no air conditioning- and just our luck we were there when it was in the mid to upper 80s with 99% humidity.. of note: if you have anyone with mobility issues, the parking area is a short walk to the house but when it's raining- walkers/wheelchairs not assessible. in addition, the couple of steps were hard to navigate with no railings. Forever special memories at a super modern oasis! Thank you!

Wonderful lake vacation

The house was beautiful as were the surroundings. Hiking, swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking, and exploring islands on the canoe were amazing! Such a special place. The hosts are very welcoming and hospitable. Great communication.

An amazing lakefront stay with family

Easily one of our best short term rentals, and the kindest homeowners. The house is exactly as pictured, with plenty of room for our multigenerational family vacation, with folks ranging from 4 to 65. Truly a joyful stay; we hope to be back again. Owners were super responsive and very accommodating.

The house was exactly as advertised; we had a fun weekend swimming, hot tubbing, grilling, and playing board games at the big dining room table. The location has a nice secluded feel but is still conveniently close to grocery stores and restaurants if needed. The owner was easy to get ahold of to answer questions.

We enjoyed three nights in this beautiful home on Squam Lake. Nestled in the pine forest on the edge of the Lake, it affords beautiful views of the surrounds. However, it is the house that is the winner. Beautifully and creatively designed and fully equipped, with a wonderful kitchen, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The property was beautiful - modern and comfortable at the same time. Was generally accessible for family members ages 12-77! The house was stocked with everything we needed in the kitchen to cook and grill all meals. There were plentiful towels for both bath and lake...every accessory to enjoy the lake - paddle boards, kayaks, life jackets, noodles for swimming...

Stunning + Exceptionally Peaceful

Our family was celebrating a birthday and our wish was for time and space, together. This stunning property with its beautiful, modern design, airy but cozy spaces and deep connection to the lake, light and old growth trees was beyond expectation. We cooked, made fires, played cards, explored the surrounding woods and, happily, did little else. We skipped rough plans for a local dinner one night, no one wanting to leave and preferring instead to cobble together a meal at the broad kitchen island. Mostly we spent days shifting around among the home’s many perches and nooks - the reading chair on the catwalk, the steel fireplace that anchors the living room, the adirondacks by the lake, the four bunk room that feels like a treehouse, the hot tub. Every space was designed with incredible thoughtfulness and intent. This place is a gift. An escape to nature with exceptional comfort and midcentury design delights around every corner. Thank you, Sharon and David for sharing your incredible home. The feeling as we regrettably packed up was - grateful. We will be back.

Gorgeous family retreat

Our family had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home. The location was wonderful, on a quiet Squam Lake cove and only a 5 minute drive from Center Harbor. The design of the house was amazing, with communal areas being open and inviting with the best views of the lake. Bedrooms were well laid-out and accommodating. It was a real treat to stay there!

Our cove is quiet and peaceful with clear water for swimming. There's some motorboat traffic, but mostly just canoes, kayaks, paddleboards and quiet fishing boats. There's little traffic on the dirt road leading to the property. There are many places to eat and grocery shop in nearby Center Harbor and Meredith.
