Good location. Plenty to do at cabin, too. Very comfortable beds. Table & chairs on deck of main level need to be replaced. Otherwise everything was in good shape. Quick response when there was a problem with hot tub.

Weekend Get away

This place had everything you could want for a weekend get away. Plenty of space, a clean pool and spa, game room and a great kitchen for the entire family at one table. We really enjoyed the pool and spa. Very relaxing.

The bathroom door to the pool room bathroom is coming apart. We couldn’t use this bathroom. But we had a great time! Very clean very nice cabin!

Wonderful time

Beautiful home. Very clean. The resort is spectacular. I highly recommend this home. Amenities are first rate. Community pool is exceptional and the indoor pool was a huge hit.

The property was pretty much as shown. A lot of room for everyone. The pool was cold as stated in other reviews. The Wi-Fi was not very good but I would stay here again.

Family Friendly, but some misleading advertising.

Lots of fun for kids and space for adults. Location isn't accurately represented on advertisement. It's farther from town that we expected, although a reasonable drive. Also it advertises sleeping 12, but there is not enough sleeping space to truly accomodate this. We had a couple people on the floor.

Visit Smokey Mountain National Park

Super nice property with a pool, hot tub, great decks and I believe something like 9 TV’s. Our pre- teen kids loves the game room. We had a little problem with the alarms, especially the one going into the pool room., It would go off randomly. Finally just took the battery out while we were there. I would recommend is great for large family group. There were 11 of us

Cabin rental

The pool was freezing cold. The motion sensor was defective and kept tripping the alarm upstairs. The sauna didn’t work. No propane for the grill. Took 2 days to get the propane. I would not recommend anyone to stay at Laurel estates. For the $$ I spent on the 3 day rental was definitely not worth it.

Beautiful home but amenities lacking

This home is beautiful and in a great location. Some of the pictures in the listing give you in the impression that you can see the mountains when indeed you cannot but instead look at neighbors across the street. I will start by saying our issues were not necessarily with the management company, Eden Properties, but instead the owners who are unwilling to settle fairly for amenities we did not have access to in our stay. First, the internet. We were called 3 days before check-in indicating there were WiFi issues. This was awful because 2 of the adults that were traveling with us were expected to work remotely and because there was no internet they had to spend numerous hours away from the rest of us at the local library. It showed a WiFI connection yet it did not work. When we called Eden they said that yes, this is what others had said before us as well. Because there was no WiFi meant there was also no streaming services for the TV in the advertised movie room with Netflix enabled. So that was pretty much useless unless we wanted to just watch TV which is not what we were into. Second, the hot tub which was a huge selling point for booking for us was disgusting. We called day one and they said they would send someone out, which they did, and they "bombed it" but in actuality it should have been drained. We called again when we saw floating black stuff in there (assuming mold) and they said they would call back, which they did not, so I called the next day and they said they would service is Tuesday when checking the pool. They checked in Tuesday and agreed that the water level was low and kept going to eco-mode which was perhaps why it was malfunctioning. He was going to address it perhaps the next day and then no one ever came back. At this point it was Wednesday and we were leaving Friday so really what is the point then of getting it fixed? The tub smelled so strong of chlorine that it probably would have been bad to get in because when it should have been drained they over used chemicals. I also did not feel exactly safe getting in given that it was not drained after the last family was there and with Covid I was not taking chances. Third, the bed in one the masters is super loud - like wake you up every time the other person turns over LOUD. For all of these issues we were given 5% back - $270 - which is insulting. Beware FALSE ADVERTISING. I tried to settle this fairly but now since it wasn't I'm sharing it here.

Nice location. Cabin had a lot of maintenance issues. Sauna didn’t work, outside lights on porch didn’t work. Massive leak in theatre room ceiling. Had to use pots and pans to catch all the water and keep emptying them. Basically couldn’t use that room. Contacted host several times during stay and only responded with “we will let maintenance know”

Just an average stay

Furniture was uncomfortable and worn out. Grill had no drip pan and there was grease all around it on the deck. Deck table worn out. Dryer vent not attached blowing lint back into the pool room.

Relaxing Mountain Getaway

This was a beautiful home in the mountains of Gatlinburg. It is a little drive away from the excitement of downtown, which was ideal when we wanted a break from all the touristy activities. The home was thematic, beautiful, cozy--perfect for a getaway. Highly recommend

Even though we booked through VRBO & the fees & overall price was very expensive for 2 nights, the property was very nice. Everyone at Eden Crest Rentals (property management) was professional and helpful. The floors needed to be mopped a little better ; our socks got very dirty from walking on them as we did not wear shoes on the nice floors in the cabin. The countertops and table in the kitchen could have used a little more attention to detail in the cleaning process. But we did have items stocked that were promised in the agreement & were happy with that. We have stayed in another cabin in the same area in the past. This is a nice development and we really like the property management team.

Descent cabin

The cabin was clean and had all the amenities listed. Upon check-in, we inspected the cabin and found several issues (holes in the wall, crack in the floor, cracks in the kitchen cabinet, alarm missing on the door to the pool, mantel to fireplace hanging loose, etc). I called the number provided but since it was 7 pm no one answered. I sent a message via VRBO to make sure everything was documented. The following day, I received a message that they noted the issues and let them know if there were any other concerns. The first night of our trip, the cabin next door had a wedding celebration. They had several cars parked up and down the street, kept taking our parking spaces and kept blocking us in. The following day, they left but another group came who also kept taking our parking spaces due to having several cars. The cabin overall was nice but there was no privacy. The cabin backs up to other cabins and both balconies were visible to several other cabins so keep this in mind if you want privacy. We were aware the cabin was in a community when we booked it. The cabin provided towels for both the shower and the pool, but only 2 wash clothes were provided. The pool table was nice, and the kids enjoyed the movie theater. The sauna never would heat up, so we were not able to use it. The hot tub and pool were clean, and we enjoyed using them. The beds were comfortable, and the cabin was spacious. The location was convenient, and the cabin was easy to get too.
