Great House, Great location

Location was very quiet and private. Easy access to beach and the beach was clean and well maintained. Loved seeing the gopher tortoises! Location was great for staying away from traffic but still within reasonable distance to amusement parks, such as Sea World.

Beautiful and Clean

The house is just as pictured. Plenty of room for my entire family of 8 to enjoy time together. Quiet neighborhood and so close to the beach! This was our second time staying here.

The property was as advertised. Clean on arrival and stocked well with cooking pans and dishes. Great view to see the ocean from the balcony and easy walking distance to the ocean. Has its own shower and foot wash at the house.

Fun Place

This home was perfect for our 2 families with the split levels. The house was clean on arrival and well stocked with cook wear and cleaned grill. Great location to the beach and shower to clean off with. The kids loved the upstairs balcony facing the ocean with a toddler gate to the stairs made it enjoyable for the 1 y/o we had there. Only issue was that the the A/C breaker was turned off but with talking with guest relations we discovered that it was the breaker had been switched so the issue was quickly resolved. Great stay and perfect for 2 families wanting to spend time together but have their own space.

Playa haus rental.

Location was great. Future renters should be aware that the upper level and lower level are separate and connected by the stairs on the outside. Also the room with the twin beds is more like a converted living area in the downstairs unit that is separated from the rest of the space by a shower curtain. No issues there just can’t really tell by the pictures. One thing that was noted was that the upstairs does get warm, the bedrooms don’t get allot of airflow and there are no fans.

Old and worn down with strange floor plan

Overall, this place is so worn down and it has a strange floor plan in that the downstairs rooms are not accessible from the inside. You have to leave the house, go outside and then enter from the outside. The listing fails to mention this important fact. Not good.

Overall was very good. Refrigerator was in high and didn’t get very cold. I asked if there was a grill on the property and was told no but there is one. The back sliding door does not lock, needs adjusting.

Good location with short walk to very nice beach. Grocery stores nearby. House listed as 4 bedrooms and that was true if you want to count the laundry room as a bedroom. Downstairs apt was not nice. Not nice in really a way. Bathroom bad laundry roo/bedroom bad - lawn watering system came on in middle of night and hit side of room like a water cannon. No one would sit in the sitting area. No one! Fees and taxes doubled our nightly charge🤯

Vacasa is a Very Poor Property Manager...unrespensive and incompetentnt

Disappointing...rented for 28 days and upon arrival. The house and location were fine but from day one 1. Took seven days to connect WiFi 2.Took 12 days to conect TV 3. Clothes washer was never fixed, all 28 days, and Vacasa knew it was broken prior to arrival 4. Will never rent again where Vacasa is the property manager.

Check in process was easy. The house was cleaned when we arrived. BUT the house was not like it looked in the photos. The stairs and deck are rotting and need to replaced. They were shaking every time we used them. Very unsafe especially with young kids. They need to replaced ASAP. The couch has a big hole which was covered with a blanket. Communication prior to our stay was poor. I took weeks for a response.

Has good bones….

The reviews from previous guests are pretty accurate. The house itself has potential however it needs a good DEEP cleaning, some fresh paint and updating. The furniture is definitely either handmade or bought at yard sales. The porch really needs attention. The stairs that wrap around the front porch has one step the is short and steep. We called it the death trap. We just used the stairs that went straight down from the back porch. We could not access the bottom living area with the code given to us. We had to call and at the end had to get a physical key. The options for beds were good in the form of if you like hard or soft mattress. The second floor bedrooms were much warmer than the bottom rooms. And yes you have to go outside everytime to access the bottom area. The kitchen cookware needs to replaced. Most of the pans were close to falling apart at the handle. The dishwasher struggled to work. Unless you were physically holding the door closed until it gain suction, it would stop running. The upstairs bathroom has a bathtub however it didn’t drain properly and you were standing in water. The downstairs bathroom is in need of repair for the shower. The shower pan is definitely in need of attention, you can feel it move as you are moving. The TVs were very small and limited channels. There were no grill cleaning utensils that we could locate. Overall to be clear, this would be great for college students or young adults. We are experienced rental professionals.

Location was great!

Nice beach house but needs alittle tlc. Location was perfect! 2 houses from the ocean entrance. Beautiful beach! Lots of room in the house for families, the only thing I would complain about is house smelled alittle of mildew and the upstairs floors need some repairs.

Great location but needs a lot of attention

We stay in this area every year and normally have no issues at all. Within the first few minutes of check in we discovered a live roach in the silverware drawer. It was disgusting. Needless to say we purchased plastic silverware for the rest of the stay. Other than that, the kitchen was well equipped. The washing machine was not working and we reached out to the management company by phone and text and they did not respond until 2 days later right before we were leaving. The beds are in serious need of upgrading. They are really old, lumpy and no one was able to get a good night sleep on them. We loved the location and deck but the inside needs a lot of attention. In our opinion, this should not be a reflection on the owner but the management company, Vacasa. They are not keeping it clean and need to be more responsive to guests needs as they arise.

I went to St Augustine for a surf trip with some friends. The location was great and we had a blast at the place. Quick walk to the beach and short rides to the town! So fun would love to stay again

Great place to stay!

We loved the proximity to the beach and the amount of sleeping space. The view of the ocean and sounds of the waves were very nice.

Lovely beach home

What a gem! My family loved staying at Playa House. Short walk to the beach, short drive to the sights. Enjoyed having the separate downstairs older boys could hang in. Amenities and furnishings all provided a comfy time while at the house. Would definitely recommend.

Siblings reunion

We decided that we would meet once a year and spend some time together. This Vacasa rental was perfect for us. The only thing being in Florida was that when we left the A/C automatically went to 82 degrees so when you went back after a day in the sun it was very warm in the unit. Very near the ocean and convenient to grocery and/or eating out. Enjoyed relaxing, playing games and sharing memories.
