Lakefront Retreat on Partridge Cove

Yksityinen viipalet taivasta South Twin Lake -järvellä. Nauti aamukahvista katsellen auringonnousua keittiön istuimelta tai toisesta kahdesta olohuoneesta. Koti on oma ranta, jossa on oma kelluva laituri. Täydellinen kävelyyn uinnissa tai kalastuksessa. Kaksi piknikpöytää, yksi rannalla syömistä varten, ja toinen sivukansilla. Nauti katsomassa perheesi uintia keinulta, nurmikolta tai kannelta. Lopeta ilta kertomalla tarinoita päivästä, istuen kauniissa paloaukossa vesialueella.
Kotimme on puhdas 4 makuuhuoneen koti, jossa 2 1/2 kylpyä, jotka istuvat hiljaisella laella South Twin Lake -järvellä. Järven rannalla ja leirillä oleminen ei ole koskaan ollut näin mukavaa upea näköalalla ylemmän tason keittiöstä ja olohuoneesta / makuuhuoneesta ja alemman tason olohuoneesta. Makuuhuoneessa on kävelykaapissa ja oma kylpyhuone, josta on kauniit näkymät järvelle ja istuva kuisti nauttia aamukahvista. Kaksi makuuhuonetta ja kaksi kylpyhuonetta sijaitsevat ylemmällä tasolla keittiö ja olohuone. Viihtyisä työtila, jos sinun on kirjauduttava sisään toimistossa loman aikana, on kahden makuuhuoneen välissä. Pesukone ja kuivaaja sijaitsevat ylemmällä tasolla, jotta voit heittää pyyhkeesi päivän päätteeksi. Jokainen kylpyhuone on varustettu tuoreilla pyyhkeillä ja pesulappuilla käyttöösi loman aikana. Vieraiden käyttöön on kaasugrilli poikkipuistossa ja pyöreä piknikpöytä sateenvarjoineen. Wi-Fi on käytettävissä vieraille, jotta he voivat muodostaa yhteyden ja katsella elokuvia tai suosikki-ohjelmia yhdessä kahdesta suuresta televisiosta. Tai voit tuoda omat DVD-levysi perheen suosikkeihin.
Koko koti on sinun omassa käytössäsi loman aikana. Telakkaa voidaan käyttää veneen tai jet-ski kiinnittämiseen. On kahden auton autotalli, joka on yksityinen eikä ole avoinna vieraille, ellei erityistä pyyntöä ole tehty ennen loman tekemistä. Talvivieraillemme on saatavana kuukausi- tai talvikauden hinnat. Kysy. Mainen moottorikelkkareitit # 1 ovat ovesi askeleella. Peitetty autoportti saatavana moottorikelkoihin / perävaunuihin.

Rest and Relaxation

This is our second time staying at this property. The house is beautiful. The lake is clean and perfect for swimming. We had a wonderful time and hope to visit again.

Beautiful, convenient location.

The home had most everything that we needed. Loved the location on the lake and the proximity to Baxter State Park and Millinocket! It was quite comfortable. The window blinds need to be replaced so that they are easier to raise and lower, but that is minor. Note that the cold and hot water controls in the lower level shower are reversed.

South Twin Lakes are heaven on earth. House is very comfortable and has all that you could possibly need. We were in a "heat wave" and master bedroom was a little warm during evenings but cooled down enough to sleep at night. Thank you so very much!!!!!!

Good Times

The camp was clean when we arrived. Just as the owner described. 4 adults and 3 kids under 10. Great areas for the kids to play inside and outside. Waterfront was wonderful for swimming. Dock held the 20ft Pontoon with no issue. The chain of lakes left us plenty of room to roam and coming home to the camp was wonderful after a long day on the water. As a side note my daughter caught her first fish off the dock. Many firsts and memories. We would definitely stay again.

Great location on lake

We loved the beautiful lakefront on a quiet cove with a gentle sloping lawn and gradually sloping swimming area, totally suitable for all of our family, from 3 to 69 years of age with varying degrees of water appetite. Great to have kayaks and other water toys to enhance the fun. House was good. A bit cluttered, but good features overall. Nice large living/dining area, great for meals, games, and hanging out. With 6 adults and 2 small kids, we felt that we filled the house. Stairs to lower level and down to lakefront were somewhat challenging for older family members. Check-in process was quite stressful, as cottage actually is a mile away from the address listed on the VRBO description, and actual address and directions were not sent until 2:30 pm when we already were in the area with limited cellphone coverage. We resorted to using our detective skills to find the house. Overall, we would rent the same house again. And definitely would return to the Millinocket area. The natural beauty is astonishing.

Charming lake house getaway

We had a wonderful stay at the lake with 4 adults and 4 kids. The kayaks and floating lake pad were huge hits and for a small kitchen it was incredibly well stocked. The backyard at night was beautiful with the camp fire and lights. Although it was a bit of a schlep to get here it was well worth it. Would recommend!

A beautiful Maine get away.

The cottage itself is beautiful., much more like a home than a camp. It's 2.5 baths and washer/ dryer make it an easy stay. It is advertised as sleeping 9, however it is more like 6 adults. One bedroom is very small and sleeps just one on a cot. There are 2 couches, but they are not pull out. It is located very close to Millinocket, the nearest town, so you are not at all far from supplies. The spot on the lake is quiet, as are the neighbors. It should be known that there is security monitoring outside and in common area inside. This did make some guests uncomfortable. It is

Even better than the listing - amazing lake retreat!

My family spent a wonderful week in this lovely house right on the lake. The pictures in the listing don't do it justice -- it is even nicer, more comfortable, and attractively furnished. It is a remote spot, which is exactly what we wanted. Gorgeous, clean, clear lake, great kayaking and swimming (take water shoes for the small rocks at the bottom of the lake). Tubing close enough to enjoy for a couple of hours, several restaurants 10-15 minutes away, along with a great Hannaford supermarket. Brandi (the host) was kind, helpful, and incredibly responsive (including giving us info for boat rentals that would deliver to the lake! - though you should reserve ahead of time). Just perfect for a quiet getaway in a gorgeous setting!

A Great Family Getaway

We had a great stay! The house is very nice with so many extra amenities! It was very clean and we enjoyed every bit of the house. Brandi was communicative throughout the process. We made the most of everything this property had to offer! I would say the only negative for us was space in the bedrooms. Sleeping 9 people (6 adults and 3 kids) was a stretch. I’d say that 6 people would fit much more comfortably but we made it work!

Great spot to swim and hike

We had a great time at this lake house. The house is well stocked with everything you’d need and laid out in a way that gives everyone enough space and privacy. The lake is perfect for a family to swim, kayak and paddle board. I did a couple morning paddles and was the only one out on the lake - beautiful view of Katahdin all to myself! We did a few hikes in Baxter State park and the surrounding area. Super easy drive to trailheads and good options for all hiking levels (my kids are NOT hikers but even they enjoyed it). Definitely a great place to spend some time and explore an amazing wilderness area.

Fantastic trip!

Property was amazing and the lake was beautiful. Fantastic fishing spot, we were reeling them in left and right for 3 days. Host was very friendly and extremely helpful regarding any questions we had. The house had everything we needed and 2 kayaks were available to use. Nice firepit near the water. Would definitely like to stay there again!

Difficult homeower.

We booked a house from February 15th to the 19th to snowmobile in Maine. The house was advertised to sleep (9) guests. We had (5) people sleep downstairs and NO ONE could sleep. The heating system banged so loud, it was horrible. We taped the noise. The homeowner is also trying to charge me for (3) guests who came over to visit and never stayed at the residence. The (3) guests were staying at a local motel. The (3) guests have receipt for the motel. I did let her know we had (1) extra guest however when I called her she would never let me speak. I have never had and issue with homeowners previously they have alway been accommodating and happy to work with. Life does change and things happen. I was aware of the cameras everywhere,. I did not have an issue as I did not have anything to hide . I was just unaware of how unreasonable the homeowner would be and she would watch us the entire time. She said I was in breach of contract however did not acknowledge this home is NOT able to accommodate (9) guests in the winter time due to banging pipes. The owner called me (6) times and emailed me about the same. I was on vacation and she would not stop, I had (2) guests leave early due to lack of sleep and the other guests became uncomfortable with the cameras. We paid for (4) nights and the homeowner requested we leave on 3rd night. I sent her an email requesting a refund however its been 3 days and have not received response. The was the WORSE vacation we have ever had.

Beautiful Home

What an amazing place and a perfect spot. The house was very comfortable, clean and had all the amenities anyone would need. The Host was great and would even check in throughout our stay to make sure we had what we needed. The kids spent a lot of time in the water. The lake is clean and perfect for swimming. Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone. We look forward to staying here again. A perfect getaway!

Perfect Setting

We loved this place! The house is comfortable, clean and spacious. The location is spectacular! We heard loons every evening, kayaked every morning (you can see Katahdin from the lake!) and appreciated how close this house is to Baxter State Park. The train whistles at 3 a.m. surprised us, but we got used to it after the first night/morning. A dresser and bedside tables/lamps would make the master bedroom complete -- but that and the train are the only reasons we give this beautiful home 4 stars instead of 5. It's really a 4.9.
