Meidän mökki, "Miller's High Life", istuu eekkerin valtameren etupuolella noin puolen eekkerin aidattu teidän koiran kumppanit kävelemään ja juosta ilmaiseksi. Pisteen tätä aluetta kutsutaan Mud Coveksi, missä alamäki tarjoaa valtavan hiekkaraudan kuoret ja korkea vuorovesi tarjoaa erinomaisen kalastuksen. The Forgotten Coast

A cute and cozy cottage right on the beach. Perfect location. Fishing off the beach was great. Caught Spotted Trout, Whiting, Ladyfish and Sail Catfish. The cottage was spotless and nicely furnished and decorated. Definitely want to go back for another visit and hopefully stay for a couple of weeks. One week was just not enough.

Paradise on the beach

Miller High Life is an amazing place to escape everything and reset on the beach. Everything you need for a relaxing stay. Very clean and comfortable. The views of the Gulf are incredible and birds and sea life never stop. The fenced yard makes bringing your dog so easy and stress free. Highly recommend this cottage on Alligator Point beach!!! R&J

Wonderful cottage by the sea!

We really enjoyed our stay at Miller's Highlife beach cottage! The ocean view took our breath away. We saw lots of birds and dolphins from the deck and porch. The cottage is really pretty and very comfortable. It has everything you need. They even provided breakfast fixings and a bottle of wine! Randy was a great host and checked in with us via text message to see if we needed anything or had any questions. The location is very quiet and peaceful. Walking on the beach was great. It's very dog friendly if you bring your pup. Thank you Randy for letting us rent your beautiful cottage by the sea. We hope to come back again next year!

Spring Break 2023

My son and his two boys 11 and 14 arrived to a home ready for us = eggs, English muffins, wine, plenty of coffee and views of the Gulf. There is a large sand bar that greeted us several mornings. We were able to see the local sights - where the D Day and Iwo Jima (invader)soldiers trained, a W W II Museum, golfed at a beautiful course, perused Alligator Island by car and on foot! We fished - catching a variety of fish. Sunsets and sunrises were lovely! The home totally met our needs. Bears visited the trash can at nighttime - be sure you put the lid on correctly! Not sure why the trash company was not picking up trash - as there was trash from the previous renters and ours was not taken. We would return to this home!

Peaceful Place

We were looking for a quiet beachfront home with views, porches, a large fenced area with shade (for our dog) and Wendy's place significantly surpassed our expectations! The photos are less attractive than the home and lot which was a pleasant surprise as the opposite is usually the case. The home is located in a small neighborhood with all of the homes beachside, well spaced. We would describe the home as extremely comfortable for 2 with room for more. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking meals. The living room seating was great with a big smart TV. The bed slept very well, bathrooms were clean with tons of fluffy towels. There were 2 back porch areas, one screened and one unscreened, perfect for relaxing. The downstairs (under house) was cool with seating, swing and hammock. Laundry room was downstairs with a good W/D, beach chairs, umbrella. From the house a path through the dunes led to the white sand beach. Aside from some dog walkers on the beach in the early morning we had the whole beach almost to ourselves most days. At low tide we could walk several miles, sometimes east onto the expansive state park beach which was undeveloped (no pets there). We knew the water was brackish along this stretch which didn't bother us. We found lots of shells, watched many birds, had dolphins on several days. If you are looking for a truly quiet stretch of beach and a nice place to stay, especially with a dog, this is a good find. We want to come back!

We loved everything about the property. Our favorite part was being able to sit out on the screened in porch, Looking out to the ocean. Sitting on the beach in front of the home is great. No one else was around but one other couple. The house is well stocked especially the kitchen. We used the gas grill every night. We went to My-way seafood in Panacea and purchased local fish, shrimp and spiney lobster. So good! Highly recommend them for fresh seafood. The house is well taken care of and very clean. Wendy is a wonderful, thoughtful host. Loved all the goodies she left for us. She communicated with us on everything we needed to know about the home very clearly. Easy check-in and out.Highly recommend Wendy’s place. We will be back.Thanks again! Adele & John

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this wonderful and peaceful oceanfront cottage! The views from the deck, screened porch, and inside the cottage were beautiful, as well as the sounds of the surf. We saw dolphins, pelicans, ospreys, ducks, and other shore birds. The place is so well appointed - we didn't want to leave. We planned to cook in since the kitchen has everything you would need, but we ended up eating out in Panacea instead since the food was so good. The bike path is also so convenient and fun. Communication was excellent. We can't wait to return!

Quiet perfection!

We have stayed with Wendy at her beautiful cottage four times now. That should tell you everything you need to know. We are dog lovers and Wendy has the perfect set up. Large fenced in yard dog bed and even dog friendly quilts. It is rural so you have to be ready to truly relax.

Peaceful Paradise

The cottage was perfect for our first "empty nester" vacation after sending the kids off to college. Ms Wendy provided thoughtful welcome gifts (eggs, muffins, jam, wine!) that were very much appreciated as well as the dog bed and beautiful quilts to keep warm in the colder months. I'm already looking forward to our next visit.

This home with its incredible view was one of the most comfortable, cozy cottages we have ever stayed at. Extremely well stocked with anything you might need. The screened deck with rockers and a swing was a great place to watch both sunrises and sunsets. A beautiful, natural location to unwind! Wendy was a great host - appreciated all the extras!

Perfection

There are so many wonderful things to say about this cottage! It was exactly like the listing but better. Wendy does an amazing job making it warm and cozy and feel like home as soon as you walk in. The place was super clean ,smelled amazing, and had everything we needed for our stay and more….the personal touches and surprises were so heartwarming and thoughtful. This is the best rental we have stayed in hands down. Wendy was great with communication and the entire week was easy and not stressful . The location was great! It was quiet, beautiful, and deserted in February…perfect. The sandbar was so much fun and we can’t wait to go back!.

Superb comfortable stay at perfect cottage

This was our first stay at the cottage but certainly will not be our last. This lovely home by the sea is superbly located a few steps from the beach. Wendy is a sweet owner who provided such an incredible stay and excellent communication. Our small family and doggie had a wonderful, relaxing time walking on beach, watching sharks and dolphins, and enjoying amazing sunrises and even more beautiful sunsets and starry nights. The cottage was super clean upon arrival, smelled fresh, and a lovely bottle of wine greeted us on counter. Wendy thoughtfully provided generous starter breakfast supplies. The kitchen was well appointed for cooking. The beds, sheets, and pillows soooo comfortable! Pet quilts and bed were provided for pooch’s comfort too. We adored the under area of home with rope lighting and shower, the fully enclosed yard, the million dollar views from deck and screened in porch. We just sat back and enjoyed EVERYTHING!

My husband and I bought this Cottage in 1996 as a weekend getaway. As native Floridians, we grew up spending many weekends and summers at the beach. Neither of us had a family home at the beach, so when we were afforded the opportunity to own a piece of Alligator Point, we were thrilled. My husband passed in 2020 from complications from COVID19, so now I manage the Cottage with the help of my daughter. The weight of the world lifts as you cross the Ochlockonee Bay Bridge headed to the Point. I am sure you will experience the same feeling; I welcome you to enjoy Florida's Forgotten Coast.
