Seuraava loma Oregonin rannikolle on ilo tämän Rockaway Beachissä sijaitsevan talon suhteen. Siinä on koiraystävällinen asenne pihalla ja helppo pääsy rannalle kadulle!

Mikä on lähellä:
Sijaitsee lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä kaupungin keskustasta itään, sinulla on helppo pääsy moniin kauppoihin ja ravintoloihin, samoin kuin helpon tason pääsy rannalle muutaman korttelin päässä (kolmasosa mailin päässä talosta). Vietä aamuisi kävelemällä koiran kanssa surffailun vieressä, ota kuvia Twin Rocksista ja nauti sitten maukas ateria Sand Dollar -ravintolassa tai Old Oregon Smoke Housessa.

Happy Little Crabby Shack

Such a cool little beach town property. It has a great location...just a short walk to the beach. We loved the deck and the fact it is off the street a bit, which gives you a sense of privacy.

Great little cozy house

Cute little house, loved how they have the kitchen bathroom and bedroom stocked with amenities. This is a plus!! The down side is that there is no washer or dryer to wash your clothes . Also a full size mirror would be great if one is added !! Other than that I would highly recommend and will stay again .

We really enjoyed our stay! The location was perfect—just a short walk to both the beach and town, which made it super convenient. The space is small but cozy, and the bed was very comfortable. The kitchen had all the basic utensils we needed, and we especially appreciated the grill—it was clean and easy to use. There were a few things to note: the steps leading to the property were a bit tricky to manage with a large suitcase. Also, the kitchen sink drained very slowly, which made washing dishes a bit of a challenge. Overall, it was a nice stay in a great location with just a couple of minor inconveniences.

Decent, no frills, has the necessities.

Overall my stay was ok. The unit definitely needs some improvement. Cobwebs and dust in lots of places. The a/c unit is exhausted thru a dog door. The unit smelled like dog upon first entry. Bathroom was fine, kitchen was good lots of utensils. Living room was cozy, tv worked great just slightly crooked. I would go back.

Crabby shack

The listing was very accurate it was an old beach cabin there are stairs to climb to get to crabby cabin so it’s not ideal if you have any type of walking problems it’s small ideal for a couple the cabin was clean and had what we needed we didn’t cook anything but we did use coffee maker we flew in from Arizona then drove from Portland we had a great time thank you crabby shack

Good location uncomfortable seating

The property is in need of updating. The living room couch was extremely uncomfortable. Microwave was probably 45 years old with dial not push button control. Previous tenant left terrible smelling blanket in ottoman smelling up the small living room. Bed was very comfortable! Location is incredibly easy to walk downtown. We enjoyed our stay, but probably would find something else for future visit.

Would stay again

Overall the property was good. It was big enough for 2 adults and could fit 3 but that would be tight. The third would need to sleep on the futon in the living room. Not something I'd want to do seeing how sitting on it wasn't the most comfortable because it is really firm. The place was older and worn but clean and tidy. A couple others mentioned the hot water being an issue and it was for us too. It lasted for one 15 min shower and a few min into the second shower the water was cold. The faucet in the bathroom was also really loose. Bed was comfortable and there are plenty of utensils in the kitchen. TV worked fine (although we only watched it for about 45 min). Didn't use the WiFi so I have no feedback there. The only other concern would be for someone that has a difficult time with stairs. It is a pretty steep climb from the parking spot on the street to the front door. Just something to consider. The location is really good being walking distance to the beach, grocery store, coffee shop and restaurant/bar. Overall, it was a good place to stay and we would definitely stay again.

A nice cozy cabin

My husband and I enjoyed our stay here. The bed was comfortable and the place was very clean. It is old, as described, but that was fine with us. We liked that it is back from the beach, in a neighborhood. We had fun figuring out how to use the controllers for the various electronics - be sure not to select "guest" as your identity unless you just want to watch kid shows. The only disappointment was the amount of hot water available - there is a bathtub but the hot water ran out before it finished filling. Not sure if the thermostat could be turned up - you would have to ask. Also of note we stayed in late October and the nights dropped into the 30's. The space heaters kept the living area and bedroom warm, but not the bathroom.

"Happy Crabby Aerie"

This little gem of a tiny home is just right! I love how it's up on a bit of a hill, and you go to sleep and wake up to birdsong. [Also a plus, in my book, that it's right on a tsunami evac route.] Close enough that walking to everywhere is a breeze; far enough removed that you hardly hear traffic or anything but the ocean roar. Comfy bed. Funky fun windows to figure out how to create a breeze inside. Dany porch. I brough an x-pen for the pup that allowed him to roam the porch area freely. Solid wifi connection the whole time. Vacasa was great, too - notifying in advance of a potential temporary power outtage. Plus everything super-clean! There are a few things to cope with in an old house like this, but I didnt mind. I would join in with a few other reviewers and urge the owners to replace the couch! It is nice and clean, but very awkward for sitting - definitely no "deep couch sitting" possible!" But that's just a minor detail. Would stay there again - and still not like the sofa!

Clean and well equipped. Only complaint is sofa is not comfortable. Very hard. This did not affect our stay, just an observation.

Birthday Getaway

The home is small, but adequate. Quiet location. Kitchen stocked with all the basics. Our only complaint was the steps weren't shoveled. We couldn't locate a shovel so ended up using the dustpan to clear a path. Not only was it inconvenient to walk through the snow, that went over our shoes, but your service charges us for this to be taken care of and it is a safety concern. The other minor complaint is there is no heat in the bathroom. There was a portable mini-heater but it didn't work. I would not suggest a winter visit here. This location is perfect for a summer visit.

Quirky, Cozy Comfort

This sweet little cottage is endearing, quirky and cozy. However, getting to it is something else all together! Stairs which are MANY, are seen when viewing photo but EXTREMELY underestimated. The bottom stairs are dangerous as the fill rock has sunken to where stair frame tops are above rock grade for tripping on way down. The grass area between the lower stairs and deck stairs up to cottage is super uneven and slippery when damp. Cottage is well stocked with a comfortable bed. The shower however is a trip! Curtain enclosure is disorienting balance wise. We had to call Vacassa help for tv help for turning tv on and connecting to cable. It would be nice to have printed instructions as it was easy once the cable guy came out to help us. A light in cutout above sink would prove extremely helpful in dish washing. Dishes weren't the cleanest so we washed them before using. Pots and pans need replacing. All but two are rusted inside. Upon leaving we were asked to turn on the humidifier which we tried to do but to no avail as filter was full. We left a note for housekeepers on said humidifier. Speaking of housekeepers, Holy Cow! They were waiting for us to leave as soon as we put the car in gear! All in all, we enjoyed our time. Stayed in more than we would normally due to stairs trek. Cute little cottage

I loved the price for the area. However the couch was not the one in the pictures and was very stiff. The hot water heater was very small, water got cold fast.
