Gorgeous log cabin with all the amenities. Loved the game and theater rooms. Plenty of space. Everything is very well kept. Communication with the host was fantastic. Short drive into Pigeon Forge and an easy 15-20min drive into Gatlinburg. It is a little bit of a walk down a hill to the pool (10 minutes) but we knew that going in. Would definitely stay again.

Three families totaling 6 Adults 2 children two and under. King beds at each of three levels gave great privacy and comfort. Mountain view was spectacular and very convenient location away from the hustle and bustle. A great experience. We saw bears!

This is a beautiful cabin with an even more beautiful view. You will not be disappointed staying here. Janice was wonderful to deal with and can't say enough about how great this place is. My family of 6 had a very nice time.

Amazing cabin and view!!

It’s difficult to come up with anything new to add to the wonderful reviews from previous visitors!! We agree with all their positive comments! Sherwood Dream cabin was a perfect place for us to celebrate our 50th anniversary with our kids and grandkids.The beautiful view gave us a true feeling of living in the mountains but with the convenience of being close to the area attractions. Janice made it so easy with her helpful communications. We were thrilled with our week in the Smokies and brought home special memories and lots of photos!

Incredible views!!

Our cabin was perfect!!! Very clean and stocked at check-in. It was exactly as advertised and the views were incredible. The location is fantastic, just minutes from the parkway. We had a great experience and a wonderful vacation.

Truly a "dream" come true!!

Sherwood Dream was absolutely perfect!!! It was super clean, decorated adorably, and fully stocked to meet all of our needs. There was plenty of room in the three different levels for everyone to have their own space, but the kitchen/dining area was spacious enough for us to gather together for meals and games. We would love to stay here again sometime!

Beautiful home!

The property is up almost to the top of the properties around. The view is spectacular and the home is beautiful! The kids had their own space downstairs (in which was basically sound proof) and the adults on the main level. Spent every night out on the porch with the view. Communication with owners was very easy and quick! Would definitely stay here again if we go back!!

This is a wonderful location. Close to Pigeon Forge but peaceful mountain views abound! This was our second time staying within Sherwood Forest. Communication prior to our stay was excellent. Check in was a breeze. There were no issues with cleanliness. The listing is accurate to the property.

2025 Senior Grad Trip

The property was beautiful and so well maintained. The views from the main floor balcony are beautiful. The location of the cabin made it so easy to travel into Pigeon Forge and the surrounding area. We enjoyed so many of the fun things the cabin had to offer. The hot tub was used a lot at night after fun days of hiking and exploring by my daughters and their friends. The game room was so much fun! We watched several movies in the theatre room as well. And it was so nice that it had so many movie seats! One of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed. Our only complaints were the size of the washing machine could be a little bigger in comparison to how many people the cabin holds. And we thought it would have been nice to have a few more larger kitchen serving utensils and a large skillet. But overall, we would love to stay in this beautiful place again!

Find Calmness in the majesty of the Mountains!

This cabin was beautiful, clean, cozy and comfortable! Everything exceeded our expectations including the view! We have stayed at several cabins in Tennessee and Sherwood Dream was by far our favorite! The beds were comfortable and we had everything that we needed! Janice and Mark made sure that all of the details were covered! Janice even sent a message to make sure everything was taken care of! We would definitely recommend this cabin and would rent it again!

A bit of Heaven

We enjoyed our stay here. Very quaint. Loved all the pine inside the house made it very cozy.The house had plenty of room for our family of 5. The kids loved the game room and the theater. They also liked the fact that their rooms were on the lower level of the home. We enjoyed the hot tub after our long hikes and waking up every morning to a different view of the mountains. The Smokies sure live up to their name. You should book this home if you plan on being in a great location to all the action or the laid-back national park. The road to the house isnt too steep until the very last stretch to the parking area of the house. Definitely took some getting used to. But the elevation gave the best view.

The Sherwood Dream is Spectacular!

The Sherwood Dream cabin was so beautiful, comfortable and fun! The views are gorgeous! The location is perfect for Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg. Comforts of home fit our family well! When not out sightseeing, the games and hot tub at the cabin also helped to entertain our family!

Close to pigeon forge but quiet with great views

We had a great time at this property. The kids and adults loved the game room (air hockey and arcade games) plus theatre room! Best we’ve seen. The hot tub and outdoor seating were nice for the cool mornings and evenings. We enjoyed dining in and using the grill which worked great. No complaints at all - worth every penny!

Great views and lots of fun!

We had a great time at this property. It provided that cabin retreat feel that we were looking for. Everything was kept up well and we had a great time. The rec area and movie theater were great for the kids. It did snow about 3 inches while we were there. The road to get up to the cabin is quite steep for about half a mile, and we were unable to get our two wheel drive vehicles up to the cabin from the resort entrance. Not ideal for bad weather conditions, though the streets were salted the next day and road conditions improved in time for check-out.

Christmas to Remember

Beautiful property in the perfect location! Cabin was equipped with everything you could need. Hot tub was a huge hit for adults and kids! And the theater room was the perfect spot to end every evening. We all had the best time, thank you!

Great family vacation!

Beautiful cabin and the view was amazing! I loved watching the sunrise over the mountains, and the kids and kids at heart enjoyed the movie room and game room. We enjoyed being together making fun memories.

Our family lives in Greenville, SC... just 2-1/2 hours from our cabin. We have vacationed in the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area many times, and in 2014 decided to purchase our first cabin in Sherwood Forest Resort.
In 2018, we purchased another cabin in the resort named Sherwood Dream. We feel very blessed to have this vacation home in our beloved Smoky Mountains, and look forward to sharing our home with you.

"Sherwood Dream" is the 3rd cabin we have owned in Sherwood Forest Resort and as of 2022 it is our only cabin. When this cabin came up for sale and we saw the amazing view, we fell in love with it. The cabin is big enough for our family, yet intimate and cozy for those times when we want to get away by ourselves.
We enjoy the cabin's full-size kitchen which is great for making family meals. The breakfast/snack bar also provides extra counter space, a place to set up a buffet, and makes a convenient laptop station. We like that there is a king bedroom and a full bath on each of the 3 levels so couples or small families can have some privacy. Our elderly relatives love the 1st floor bedroom and bath - they never have to climb any stairs!
We enjoy the convenience of being just 3 minutes away from the Pigeon Forge Parkway, but having the feeling that you are miles away in the mountains. We truly love this home-away-from-home and know our guests will love Sherwood Dream, too!
