Kodikas Ocean Park Mökki Pinesissä helppo kävellä rannalle

Tervetuloa Ocean Parkin viehättäväyn pieneen yhteisöön, jossa aika pysähtyi. Lapset vielä ratsastaa polkupyöränsä rannalle. Voit pelata tennistä tai shuffleboardia tai olla jäätelökartio sode-suihkulähteellä. Ei saa enemmän amerikania kuin tämä. Tämä mökki rakennutti isoisäni ja se pysyy perheessämme. Rakastamme yhä viettää aikaa siellä. Tämä mökki on palannut Pinesin päässä hälinästä, mutta silti vain lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä rannalta. Ranta on kaunis etelärannikko Maine hiekkaranta. Mökissä on 2 makuuhuonetta ja 1 kylpyhuone. Varustettu keittiö ja kylpyamme on päivitetty, mutta alkuperäinen charmi on edelleen. Syö ruokailualueella tai ulkona kuistilla kuistilla. Kaunis pieni ulkosuihku huuhtele, kun pääset kotiin rannalta. Sweet knotty mäntyseinät, jotka käsin leikataan isoisä itse. Tule astumaan ajassa taaksepäin. Laitoin mahtuu 4, mutta myös lapselle tai kahdelle.
Se on noin puolen kilometrin kävelymatka rannalle. Se on noin 1. 5 kilometriä Old Orchard Beachille.

Beautiful and peaceful place to stay !

This little cabin in the Pines is amazing. Very peaceful and located off the beaten path but very close to everything you want to see and do. The cabin was clean and very comfortable. We hope to stay again someday. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us.

Worth it!

My family/friends and I have stayed here twice now! It is a cute cabin in a quiet neighborhood. Everyone in the area was super friendly as well as the host, who even told us we could stay later as no one was coming in after us! It does have the mothball smell as others have described, but open windows or running the AC fans helped! But the smell did not bug us! Will definitely be staying here again!

Comfortable but not as listed. Not walking distance to beach and the supposedly outdoor shower was just a shower head on side of house with no enclosure. Fireplace also was inoperable.

Classic, rustic OP cottage with personality

This cottage was great for me, my husband and sister in law. The dishwasher and AC window units were appreciated but it's definitely on the rustic side. We spent most of our time on the screened in patio which was a quiet and peaceful retreat. Would stay again!

Easy, comfortable, relaxed

Great little family cottage perfectly described by owner! Cozy and quiet location minutes from the ocean with marked walking trails through the peaceful Maine woods. We would love to visit again earlier in the fall when the town is open and would absolutely rent this cabin again.

Great place!

Such a cute little community. We stayed after the season was over so we didn’t get all the fun stuff and beach time. But the area is so great we will definitely be back. The place was spacious and had everything we needed. Bring your own pillows if you’re picky about them. Great restaurants nearby even in the off season. Two thumbs up.

Cozy cabin

Really enjoyed our stay here! Loved that it was walking distance from the beach. The screened in porch was most enjoyable in the mornings. My only complaint would be the tiny shower but it wouldn’t stop me from renting this place again. We love Old Orchard Beach and look forward to our next visit!!

Fantastic Stay!

This property was ideal for my two boys and me. It was within biking or walking distance to the beach and a nice, quiet spot. The town itself is quaint and the cottage could not have been more perfect. Thanks for a great experience! Also, exceptional response time from the owner.

Convenient and simple charming spot

Cottage was old but had lots of charm. It’s a good spot to stay for a quick vacation. Good proximity to beach and nestled back in a private nook of the woods. It does have a musty smell and could use a good deep cleaning (cobwebs and spiders in many corners). It had all the basics we needed.

Cute cabin!

Myself, my mom, mother in law and best friend stayed here and it was super fun! We loved the quiet neighborhood. House was super clean when we arrived. Loved using the porch for morning coffee. Will definitely love to stay here again.

Perfect Rustic Cabin in the Woods

We had a wonderful stay at this little cottage. The location is perfect... you feel as though you're in the middle of the Maine woods, and you kind of are, but you're still just a few walkable blocks away from the beach. We have family in the area and make the trip to Maine a few times a year, and we look forward to coming back and staying at this wonderful getaway.

Cozy and comfortable

Very sweet old fashioned cottage. Beds were super comfy and kitchen was set up well for cooking. The neighborhood is quiet. The host was very attentive to our questions. Will definitely return for a nice, quiet getaway.

Great vacation

This was our second time to stay in this cottage, and we really enjoyed our time. Easy walks to the beach, short drive to the grocery store and other shopping. The cottage is well equipped and everything works.

Family Adventure

The location was perfect. It was within a couple minutes drive of shops/food and the beach was a quick, easy walk for my family. The owner was easy/quick to respond. And though the cottage was a little dated, it fit our needs for the week. We enjoyed breakfast together on the enclosed front porch, then walked to the beach until lunch, and usually played board games before heading back to the beach. Each night was movie night before bed. Overall, we had a wonderful week away from life just relaxing by the ocean!

Rustic but ok

When we arrived at 4:15, the cottage had not been cleaned and the linens were piled on the floor. We tried repeatedly to reach the owner. Later we learned he was in the Bahamas without his cellphone. We could not reach the cleaner but finally someone showed up to clean and supply fresh linens. The cleaner had also been trying to reach the owner. The cottage has an old and musty smell that never really goes away, but got a little better once the window AC was on. Be aware that the beach is over a mile away with limited parking. The shower is tiny and would be helped by a shower head that could be moved around. One chair in the living room collapsed because the only thing holding up the seat was an old piece of cardboard. Owner has promised to fix several things we mentioned.

Quiet, Clean & Cozy

Adorable place to stay, close to everything. Was very clean & quiet. We spend our days at our families cottage so we never got to use the grill but we had our breakfast there every morning and it was a nice place to come to after an entire day at the beach. The kitchen has everything you need, we did bring our Keurig for coffee but there's a coffee maker there if needed. Beds were very comfortable too, the place is adorable. Thank you!

Charming grandpa house

Cute, clean cabin as described. No frills to keep costs down. We weren’t visiting Maine to watch tv so limited channels weren’t a problem. Coffee on front screened porch in the morning was memorable. We enjoyed our stay.

Perfect retreat

We love the location of the Best Years. From the tranquility of the cottage to watching the wildlife travel through, it was a very peaceful place to get away for a few days. We were also very close to the southern Maine coast with plenty of small towns with great restaurants and shopping. I particularly loved the Rachel Carlson trails and the Marginal Way; The beauty of Maine! Thank you!

Quaint cottage close to the beach

The location of this cottage was ideal for us. It was a short walk to the beach and has a nice screened in porch. I think we may have been the first to rent it for the season, so it was quite musty inside. Maybe a dehumidifier or a longer airing out would help with this. Overall, it was a convenient place to stay and the beach chairs were a plus.
