The property was welcoming of our pets. The place was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was not as stocked as we'd believed but we made due. The property managers were responsivr but not timely. Enjoyable stay in a quiet town.

Very nice property. Lower level toilet was plugged and I could not unplug. Called Vencasa and they were going to call the local office, but nobody called back. When I checked out toilet was still clogged. Property could use more kitchen towels - only one. Also needs a can opener. The gas grill gas tank was empty. There was a half full tank in garage. Put empty tank back in garage.

Didn’t realize from the photos that there were no doors on any of the bedrooms. Not a huge deal just something to take note of. May sure you bring what you need if you’re going to cook which we did but they didn’t even have salt and pepper but we made sure the next guests do. Make sure you bring paper towels we only had a partial roll with no back up. The kitchen sink has a leak and we didn’t discover it until water was running out of the cupboard. If you feel a draft in the front room in the evening it’s because there’s an open dry rot spot but you can move the front rug up to cover most of it.

unique home with nice view of the coast. Within walking distance of the lighthouse museum and point. Liked the layout with bedrooms on the top and bottom for extra privacy. There are lots of stairs to climb. The parking was steep and narrow, but we got our 2 cars in easily. Comfortable beds and good water pressure in the showers. A very pleasant stay

Fourth of July

To be honest this was a good house but not for everyone. Mobility issues, the whole house is stairs. Open concept 3 levels. Very, very steep driveway deceiving in property pictures. Only 2 cars can fit on a slant. Good location easy to drive north or south for adventures.

Overall, we really liked this rental. It was spotlessly clean, although we did find a number of maintenance issues that need to be addressed like a leak under the kitchen sink, a slow drain, partially rotted door sill. We loved the location in a quiet neighborhood. The view from upstairs was lovely, and we sat upstairs every evening to take in the view and enjoy our wine. We found the beds to be very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

Enjoyable stay

The place was very clean when we arrived. We had an issue with unlocking the door so I contacted the number that was given to me and they responded very quickly. As it turned out it was my own fault for not thoroughly reading the instructions they sent, but as I said they responded very quickly with additional instructions. We did not use the pellet stove because I had never used one and didn’t really want to mess with it. It wasn’t freezing or anything and I like sleeping in a cooler room so it wasn’t a problem. I wasn’t real fond of the wall heater in the living area. It got really hot and no way (that I could figure out) to adjust the temp. So it was just a matter of turn it on for awhile then shut it off for awhile. I definitely wouldn’t leave it on unattended, the side of the couch got pretty hot. There were a few minor electrical things, flashing light in the kitchen, an outlet that didn’t work, but nothing that was a deal breaker. We just adjusted. We got one good clear day and the view from the top floor was very nice. I loved the proximity to the state park (a must see) and town. All in all it was an enjoyable stay.

Great location but know what you're getting

Lovely, peaceful neighborhood, very quiet yet super convenient for a quick trip into the village, sightseeing or down to the beach.There is an absolutely beautiful, stunning view of the coast from the top floor; however, no view from the deck (maybe the trees have grown taller since that description was written). The home itself feels a little past its prime, some neglected maintenance and could do with a deep cleaning, basic/minimal furnishings but it's nice enough for a single or couple. For families/groups be aware that there is only a small apartment size sofa for seating in the living room and that all 3 floors flow together loft style with no interior doors for privacy or quiet of the sleeping areas nor the bathtub. Great bird watching while we ate lunch on the deck, and we loved hearing the ocean waves and frogs at bedtime.

Close to beautiful beaches

We enjoyed our stay, the view from the top floor is very nice, but you have to go up there to enjoy it & it feels like you’re going into the bedroom of whoever is sleeping up there. All the lower floors don’t see much because of the trees but at least the drive to get to the beautiful beaches is not bad. The bedrooms are totally open so no privacy if that’s a concern for future visitors. Not super clean when we got there either. Overall we liked the location but there were also some things we didn’t care for about the place.

Fun place. Fast internet speeds.

The location was great. I had to do some work, and the fast internet speed greatly helped. Great views from the top floor. It is as a bit cold, so we did not use the deck, but it would have been fun to use. The bushes have grown, so you can see the ocean from the deck and main floor. The hosts/property management is great to work with. Good communication. Overall, enioyed the stay.

Not bloody likely

First of all took a while to gain access because no code or extra set of keys worked to be able to get in when I finally got in it was pouring, wait what do I hear water dripping in the cabin I rented from you. Get up in morning walk my dog come back new code doesn’t work again. Have to wait for someone to come and figure out what is going on. He has no luck either and gives me an overriding code that worked the remainder of our stay. But the stress from not knowing if you are going to get in to the cabin next time you leave is to much. I would appreciate a refund of some kind for all we went through on this stay.

Singing Winds

We really liked this house. It was spacious. The layout was different and fun. All our needs were met. The area is super windy: not the owner’s fault, and we were warned by the name. Would probably have stayed at a more protected place, but we enjoyed it anyway.

Fun Location, but that's about it

I don't know if it's because this home is also through Vacasa but this was the worst place we've stayed as far as communication goes. We had a huge issue the first night not being able to heat the house. I wasn't able to talk to anyone until the next day and I'm still waiting on a refund. Bare miminum of things provided like dishwasher pods and garbage bags. The home was clean enough for us. Lots of dust bunnies in the corners though. The open concept is pretty cool but there is hardly any privacy within the home if that's important to you. The view from the top floor is very pretty.
