We truly enjoyed our stay at the chalet. The location was perfect for our plans to enjoy the mountains, while being close to shops and restaurants. Family Christmas/ New Years

This property fit our family nicely. We had 7 adults and 2 little ones 2 yrs old and under. The kitchen had mostly what we needed to cook meals and to clean. The beds were really comfortable. The scenery was very beautiful and a family of deer would visit everyday and were not too scared of you. There were a lot of food options and shopping and activities near by in Fraser, Granby and Winter Park. Safeway is in Fraser for all your food needs. The older kids enjoyed the hot tub, especially the day after skiing!

The quiet side

Well stocked and very comfortable with views of the mountains. Was put off by the security cameras, therefore we did not use the hot tub. The main reason we selected this property was to see the night sky, which was difficult when the outdoor lights kept coming on. Otherwise, a delightful stay.

Perfect family mountain getaway!

We loved our time at the Winter Park Chalet! Perfect for a weekend getaway with the family. Stunning views off the decks, great kitchen and family room area for everyone to gather (cooking, games, movies). The beds were really comfortable. Wonderful mountain home!

We loved staying in this mountain home! BEAUTIFUL views from the huge deck! The house was very clean and we could tell renovations were recently done (tastefully decorated as well). Only a 5 minute drive from the house to the highway. Lots of restaurant options in Winter Park, Fraser and Grandby. The owner was very nice. Highly recommend this home for your next vacation!

The Big Brother House

Overall impression of the property was fantastic. Great location, great views, private, close to Winter Park and Grandby, shops, food and amenities are very close to the property. The second night we were there, the area had lots of snow that fell. We are guest in this home, are very unfamiliar with the roads, ice and extremely icy conditions. To be fair, there is a rule at the house that you must take the trash in your car about 2 miles to the dump from the house. We left the trash out (absolutely against policy we later found) due to bears. So, we received a phone call and a text message that we needed to take the trash to the dump. Again, this is all in a really, really bad storm. We then get another text advising us from the owner that we 'needed' to take the trash out. There was zero regard for our safety and even a thought that we could take the trash later after the storms let up. Because we believe in treating everyones property as though it is our own, and to follow the rules, we reluctantly took the trash to the dump as we knew that we were being monitored by 1 of the 4 cameras on the outside of the house monitoring. Not one, but two cars are now stuck in ditches wherein we had to get the community snow plower to assist us in getting our cars out. The same night, my family had set up a surprise for me to have my god daughter and her friend and boyfriend come out to visit since they lived in Denver. Again, this was a total surprise and my wife and I were not aware that they were coming. All of the sudden we get another text message from the owners telling us that we needed to pay additional fees if the guest will be staying. Again, that is the rule and we have no problems adhering to it. Once we received the 3rd text message (friendly reminder) that we needed to pay it was beginning to get a little annoying that we felt as though our every single move was being watched. My wife and I stayed one day, cleaned off the entire deck-with about 18"-24" of snow on the deck. Not one mention or even a thank you that we cleaned their entire deck (after the storm) from the owners but they were immediate to tell us that we needed to close the hot tub lid after we intentionally left it opened because of a bad sewer like water smell. How did they see that so quickly? Big Brother House! The inside of the property was dirty under beds, couches, closets, washer rooms and there is ZERO water pressure at all in this house. Weak wi-fi.

Jonny and I always had the dream of a having mountain home and in Jan 2019 that dream came true. We know enjoy it during the weekend with our little puppy "Piper" who loves the outdoors as much as we do. Piper has a few dog friends that like to come by on the upper deck to play. So, don't be alarmed if you see any of her friends. They are all friendly and will behaved.

2 acres of private land/ forest. Amazing views from all rooms and especially from the decks. Nothing more satisfying than having coffee or wine in the hot tub in the morning or evening after a great day on the slopes or any outdoor activities. If you love nature, seeing wild animals and listening to the sounds of birds, this is the place to be.
