Tietoja majoituspaikasta

Ympärivuotinen koti on viehättävä moderni vuoristojärvi piilopaikka, joka on kerran osa historiallista Saranac Inn omaisuutta. Ylä-Saranac-järvi on aivan hiljaisen umpikujamme kadun toisella puolella. Telakka, ranta, valtion veneiden lasku ja historiallinen Saranac Inn -golfkerho ovat kaikki vain 2-3 minuutin kävelymatkan päässä. Kiinteistömme tarjoaa loputtomia mahdollisuuksia perheen hauskanpitoon ja rentoutumiseen.
Meillä on näkymät järvelle, pääsy rannalle ja telakkatila, joka mahtuu korkeintaan 18 jalkaa olevaan veneeseen (moottori mukaan lukien). Hauskanpitoa varten vedessä tarjoamme kanootin ja kolme kajakkia, täydellisenä meloja ja kaiken kokoisia pelastusliivejä. Palvelumme myös pienten lasten perheille tarjoamalla syöttötuoli, kaksi istuimen istuinta, kolme pack-n-näytelmää, kaksi lastenrattaata, vauva- / taapero-amme, sängyn kisko, keinu, rantaleluja, koripallorengas + koripallo ja kokoelma aluksella pelit ja perhekeskeiset DVD-levyt.

Äskettäin uusittu vuonna 2018, upouusi keittiö, päivitetyt kylpyhuoneet ja kaikki modernit mukavuudet.

Amazing place with an awesome host!

We loved our stay here! Michelle was amazing and ensured we were informed and comfortable at the house. She even sent recommendations for food and things to do, including things for if it rained! The house was spacious and accommodated our family well, and the outside areas were relaxing and beautiful- exactly what you would hope for during an Adirondack stay.

Beautiful lake country

House was exactly as advertised, extremely well equipped, very clean, and owner was amazingly well organized and responsive. This is a great location for someone interested in lake water sports, and in relaxation!

Great lake house getaway

Everything we were looking for in an ADK lake house. Clean, nice, comfortable, great kitchen, furnishings, bbq, quiet neighborhood and even loons singing in the night. Location is great for hikes, paddling, biking. Homeowner was very approachable on phone and super helpful for information. A+

Quiet Lake vacation

Easy access to lake. Dock available if renting or bringing a boat. Kayaks, canoe, lifejackets, yard games. Well stocked kitchen. Quiet, rural area. Peaceful neighborhood to walk around. Host, Michelle, had excellent communication and offered plenty of suggestions regarding restaurants and various activities in the area.

Wonderful place to stay

We wanted a home that would allow us to spend time with our family. It was perfect for us to hang out and make meals, play games and just hang out. It was near the VIC and it was awesome to have snow shoes and poles to use. The place was well appointed and had everything we needed. The host was responsive and very helpful.

ADK Week-Long Fun

What a great location and comfortable home. Our grandkids loved the upstairs bedroom. There were tons of kids games and lots for them to do outside. It was a wonderful stay. Michelle has thought and provided everything you might need while enjoying their home.

Quiet, fully-stocked cabin on Saranac Lake

This is the second time we stayed at this cabin, and it was as great the second time as the first. The cabin has everything you could need as it is used by the owners and it is not just a rental. I felt like I was staying in a home. There are kayaks and a canoe for one's use and the lake is right across the street with a private docks for boats or jet skis. Communication with the owner is great, the place was very clean and it was peaceful and quiet. We will definitely be staying here again.

Upper Saranac House (Red Fox)

The house and owner were great! Some highlights were the very well-supplied new kitchen and LOTS of "toys" = canoe, kayaks, yard games, games, and books galore. There is lots to do! We heard the Loon family every day and loved paddling around the bay and islands! 5-minutes away, canoe rentals are cheap for paddling the Fish Creek and Floodwood areas, some of the best paddling anywhere! The evenings were amazingly quiet and the stars were stunning. Beach Note: the beach is narrow and sloped, so just for access to swimming area. There is a grassy area with chairs above it for sitting. We swam from next to one of their shared docks which are much closer. We hope to visit again! Thanks, John

Warm, Cozy and Comfortable!

This property has it all! Want to get away from it all but still have the luxury of a short drive to town? This place is for you! Located in a gorgeous little neighborhood on Upper Saranac Lake yet a short from the town Saranac Lake and Lake placid. The home is beyond well appointed with all of kitchen items and recreational accessories you would need for a lakeside vacation. The very comfortable beds are a huge bonus as well! We booked as a last minute opportunity to hike one of the nearby plentiful trails and the weather took a turn for the rainy…4 inches to be exact. We didn’t let it dampen our plans and when we got back to Red Fox Run after a soggy day out we were all so happy for a hot shower and relaxing on the cozy couch in front of the warm fire. The homeowner Michelle was fantastic at communicating everything we needed to know about the property and surrounding areas. The house was immaculately clean upon arrival as well! I wouldn’t hesitate to rent again…thanks Michelle for your wonderful hospitality!

Relaxing vacation in a great location!

This is a beautiful home in a quiet and peaceful area. Upper Saranac Lake is pristine, scenic, and conveniently located in close proximity (20 to 30 minute drive) to the villages of Saranac Lake, Tupper Lake, and Lake Placid. Kayaking, canoeing, and swimming opportunities are less than a few minute walk across the street. The Saranac Inn golf course is a two minute drive away. Countless hiking options are located within an hour radius of this location. The hosts are excellent! They are extremely well organized, provide detailed information and recommendations prior to arrival, and are readily available to answer any questions you may have. I highly recommend a vacation at this wonderful location.

14 years since visiting ADK

It had been 14 years since we'd visited the Adirondack's and our first family vacation in four years. We were excited to share the area with our kids and Michelle's home was the perfect home base for our vacation. It was super organized, very well stocked and very quiet on a dead end street. Our kids loved the play set as well as the upstairs bedroom area. The kitchen was well stocked as we ate in most days. I have not rented many short term rentals before and this one sets the bar high. Would certainly go back again.

Could not have asked for more of a perfect get-away!

Our stay at Michelle and Joe's home was, in a word, perfect. They provided every amenity that we could possibly want and much more! From all forms of lake recreational equipment to linen to a fully appointed kitchen. While not directly on the lake the Upper Saranac is across the street from their home and only a few minutes walk to the private dock and beach. Above all the owner's desire and availability to meet every need made it a true get-away for us. Making our plans for next summer at this home. Kudos and many thanks to Michelle and Joe!

Annual family get-together in a wonderful home away from home

Fit the bill completely, had absolutely everything we needed: linens, towels, kitchen gear for everyday. And everything needed for outdoor enjoyment: Kayaks, canoe, games, fire pit and firewood. Can't say enough about the owner Michelle who personally came by to meet and greet and was a wealth of current info on the area and history on her part of the ADK as her family is native to the area with an interesting backstory. The penultimate host for sure. It is nicely renovated cottage second home for the host's family that made us feel quite at home. There were easy instructions for operating any of the amenities like the gas fireplace that came in handy for the chilly nights early in the season. The kitchen had absolutely everything imaginable for cooking. The beds were very comfortable. Would definitely like to return again to both this house and the ADK.

Fantastic stay in Saranac Lake

We had such a wonderful stay at this property. It was so clean, everything was renovated and updated, the kitchen was large and fully stocked with everything you need and plenty of things you didn't know you needed! Everything was well organized, and easy to find. The beds were very comfortable, and I have back problems so this is always a concern for me. The location was ideal, right near the lake but not too far from town either. Michelle was phenomenal with communication, answering our questions, and giving us recommendations for the area. We did not have children with us, but the whole upstairs was for kids, and they had everything parents could need. It was also very pet friendly with dog bowls, crate, and a dog run. Despite being pet-friendly, it was very clean and I saw no dog hair anywhere which is great because I have allergies to dogs who shed. This didn't feel like a rental, it felt like home. Thank you Michelle for opening your home to guests!

Super Place/Super Area

It's a really nice setting (pine area with gorgeous lake) and warm and inviting house. We were on hand to play women's ice hockey in the Empire State Winter Games., representing the Hudson Valley. We wish we'd had the time to avail ourselves of all the fun things to do in the area -- or even a fraction of them. Our host, Michelle, went above and beyond in sending us information on everything from great places to eat breakfast to museums and so much more. She simply couldn't have been nicer.
