Our stay started with me having to reach out to the owner for the check in instructions, since they were not provided. The property itself was decent, but a little more attention can be put into making guests’ stay more comfortable… none of the bathrooms had shower liners, or a full set of rings for the shower curtains, toilet seats didn’t actually fit the toilet, a TV in one of the rooms was so crooked, it looked like it was on the verge of falling off the wall, and we had no hot water for the first few days.
Now for the cleanliness, which was my biggest issue with this property. Strands of hair were found throughout the house and in 2 of the beds. This was quickly brought to the owner’s attention. He was responsive to the other questions until this issue was raised, and then I was met with silence. The next day passed and still no response. The following morning I let him know how displeased I was with how he failed to address our issues, and that’s when he advised his cleaning lady would be by to exchange the sheets as well as his maintenance man regarding the hot water.
The cleaning lady came by with a lint roller, so it didn’t appear she came with the intention to wash the sheets. She didn’t speak English, so we had to use Google translator. She took the sheets, but left the mattress covers and comforter. I had to reach out to Greg again, who then came by and saw the hair for himself and had her take all of the bedding. He also fixed the hot water that day.
