The description of the 4400 Washington Blvd house was a gross misrepresentation of the actual property and neighborhood. 1. The house was promoted as being in a "desirable and vibrant neighborhood". Driving to the house which is at the end of Washington Blvd, a dead end street, we witnessed a gang of teenagers smoking and tagging (spray painting) a building several doors up. This was our first concern as we approached the house. In order to get to the house, you have to pass several buildings and homes on the same block that are in disrepair and/or boarded up. (see pictures). 2. The house was described at "beautiful" with a "handsome century exterior and a thoughtfully renovated interior with comfort and luxury in mind." We did not see anything that could be described as "luxury" in any part of the house. An old-style one room air-conditioner did not adequately cool the third floor where our grandchildren would have slept. With the AC on, the third floor registered 95 degrees. The second floor registered 85 degrees on a very hot, humid day in July. (see the pictures of the home's front steps and interior). 3. We felt strongly that we could not jeopardize the safety of our family, which included our five grandchildren, by staying in that house and neighborhood. The house and location were far from "desirable"
