Harjanteen ylÀosassa sijaitseva Carriage House tarjoaa upeat nÀkymÀt Toccoa-joen laaksoon kaikilta puolilta. TÀssÀ kaksikerroksisessa mökissÀ on holvikatot, viihtyisÀ suuri huone ja poikkeuksellinen arkkitehtuuri.

YlÀkerran makuuhuoneessa on queen-size-vuode ja lasiovet, jotka avautuvat yksityiselle kannelle. We enjoyed out stay greatly. It is a very quiet and clean location and close to town. The cabin was well stocked with your basics and beyond. We would recommend to anyone looking for a weekend getaway..

Super Clean and Great Location

My son and I stayed here for 3 nights for our annual summer cabin/fishing trip. Was soooo clean especially for a pet friendly place and so close to downtown Blue Ridge, Tubing, and hiking but felt so secluded on the property. All the amenities such as the hot tub and pool made it even better. Would definitely recommend! Great little vacation away from home!

Beautiful and Comfortable

We had an amazing time during our stay. The cabin was great, and it was fun to step right out and throw some discs in the disc golf baskets. Our dog also enjoyed the trip. We were close to everything, but it was also very peaceful. We had everything we needed for a quick getaway. We would love to come back when we can stay longer.

Thanksgiving Vacation

Very pleased with our stay at this property. Greg was very responsive when I reached out. Had mostly everything thing we needed. Property is as listed. Only reason for 4 stars for cleanliness is because we did see a few roaches in the kitchen and bathroom areas. Main bathroom tub could also use some updating but our overall stay is 5 stars. Would recommend.

Great location and easy to get to!

Wonderful place and very clean., the only thing with small kids is the master is on the second floor and the other two beds are pretty far away on the first floor. So we ended up sleeping with the kids in the same room. There are 3 queen beds, but only two rooms so be sure to catch that if you need 3 rooms. Not really a view anywhere, but we loved that it was near the river and you could walk around a little “neighborhood”. We will def rent from this property again, but try to get one of the houses with a view.

Great spot with awesome amenities!

The cabin was awesome! It had exactly what we needed for my wife and two small children and my in-laws. The home was comfortable and had lots of things to do. The best part was all the amenities for the rental cabins Greg owns. There is a really nice pool and access to the river to fish or float. We caught a couple of small trout while fishing! Greg was super helpful. The power went out due to a bad storm one evening and he came right over and hooked up a generator to allow us to keep the frig on and charge our phones. Super customer service!

Trout Fishing at The Carriage House

I booked the Carriage House for my wife and I and our two kids for a birthday getaway which included some trout fishing for myself. The property was clean and everything was found to be as listed in the description. The hot tub was wonderful and the host even provided extra towels for it’s use. There are a lot of areas to fish from on the bank of the Toccoa and even some wadeable spots at low flow times. The playground located not far from the property was great for my younger child and I wish we had better weather to enjoy the other amenities such as the community pool, horseshoe pits and disc golf course. Located just minutes from Blue Ridge while also giving an off-the-grid feeling is exactly what we were looking for. We would absolutely recommend this property, especially for trout enthusiasts!!

Great stay!

It was a comfortable and clean cabin. Not great views but nonetheless we had enough to keep our teenagers busy indoors on Christmas Day. The basket ball in the driveway, pool table and hot tub is what we enjoyed the most. We even roasted some marshmallows and made s’mores the day it didn’t rain. Lucky to have a deer visit us by the picnic table. Thank you, Greg for sharing your lovely cabin with us.

Quick Family Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Carriage House. We wish we had booked it for three nights instead of just two. The cabin was just right for our family of four adults and one baby. We had plenty of room to spread out but also gather together to eat. This was our first time using VRBO but we will definitely try it again.

Awesome short fall trip with my family. The house was very clean and had everything you might want or need. My husband enjoyed the trout fishing that was only a short walk from the house. He caught and released at least 10 trout during our two night stay. We didn't use the pool, but the hot tub was divine! We would definitely stay here again. Kristie

Had a great time on a short 2 night stay! Great location near the river & near everything you want to do but still out of town. Kids enjoyed the pool & hot tub! Greg was great! No problems!

Enjoyable

Cabin was great. Grandsons enjoyed pool beautiful river. Rained a lot but we had games and a pool table. My only issue is the bath upstairs. A little bleach would go a long way with the mildew at tub other than that everything was there we needed

The property offered everything that was promised. The cabin was very clean with great amenities. It was only 7-10 minutes from downtown (actually 7-10 minutes, a lot of listings exaggerate their close proximity to downtown). We would 100% stay here again.

We loved everything about the cabin and the property. It was a perfect family vacation. The kids loved the pool and the river trails. The parents loved coffee on the balcony and evenings in the hot tub. Great location too!

Oregonian Greg Spencer initially discovered the Blue Ridge area on a backpacking trip to the Cohutta Wilderness in the 1980’s. A short time later, enamored of the area, and the incredible recreational opportunities, Greg began to explore the potential for purchasing raw mountain land, and developing uniquely designed and hand-crafted cabins, taking full advantage of stunning views and a quarter mile of Toccoa River frontage.

Amazed by the beauty of the Toccoa River and the inspiring views of the surrounding mountains, Greg wasted no time in securing what is now known as the Toccoa House Properties.

During the 1990’s Greg built a small cabin, The Riverside Cabin, on the Toccoa River, and envisioned a larger house that he later built on the ridge above: The Toccoa House, completed in 2000. Next came The Carriage House in 2002, and the in-ground, seasonally heated swimming pool in 2007. The Grey Heron House, was completed in late 2007, the The Toccoa Riverfront Cabin was completed in 2016.

Greg has also combined his 40+ years of experience as a builder and home inspector to create a custom home, with excruciating attention to detail.
