Vapaa pääsy sisätilojen vesipuistoon 1/2 korttelin päässä ja 2400 "yksityinen hiekkaranta. Koti on uusi ja rauhallisella syrjäisellä paikalla päätien varrella, mutta kävelymatkan päässä keskustasta. Edessä ja takana olevat kuistit tarjoavat erinomaisen mahdollisuuden nauttia ulkona.

The property is not decorated remotely like the photos. Bare walls. Everything is very dated and rundown. The house is large with lots of room but a house that size has to be cleaned much better. Bad dust everywhere, floors were sticky, inside all of the kitchen cabinets were filthy. Half the lights in the house didnt work or we the fixtures were missing. Dishwasher was broken, washing machine smelled really bad. Outside landscaping, everything was overgrown and unkept. The path to the driveway is off putting and can be hard to find the first time around. A simple sign would help or a seperate drive directly to the house. We cleaned then stayed but would not rent again.

The house was adequate. We had to search for towels. There were only partial rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom. No extras. For a reservation of 10 people. A toaster was listed as a kitchen appliance but after searching high and low we found none. The dishwasher was broken so with 10 people we had hand wash dishes. And last but not least the directions to find the place were awful. No one’s GOS could find it. The directions given to me when I picked up the key were good to a point. What they didn’t tell me was that when you turn right the first time, you’re turning into the commercial laundry facilities for all the hotels and you have to drive through their their parking lot to find a trail into the wood before you get to the house.

The house was NOT clean at all! It was very dirty, and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. The kitchen was also filthy, and had very little in the way supplies to use. The pictures are very misleading, and do not accurately represent the inside or outside of the house. Also, getting to the house is a nightmare. When we arrived back at the house Saturday evening, the driveway was blocked by someone using a large machine, and refused to move it. After argument from our group, they finally moved it so we could access the driveway to the house. As for the positives, the host was very responsive when we arrived and realized the heat in the house was not working. Also, the house could be very nice with a very thorough cleaning and updating. Also, better access to the house would benefit renters greatly.

It was a wonderful place to stay nestled in the woods. We had a family from Berlin, Germany staying with my husband.and I! The children ages 9,11, and 14, We had access to the lake and water park across the street so that was a bonus! I do have a complaint about the kitchen, no paper towels, no dishcloths (the dishwasher was broken) and only 2 wine glasses! Also, there was a bit of coffee for us but you should have a Keurig coffee maker as well! We brought Keurig pods with us, and/or a bigger coffee maker. The kids weren’t able to use tv or play a movie, not sure why! It also was very cold and we couldn’t control the air conditioner! Two adults and 3 children stayed upstairs and there were only 3 towels! Other than that a lovely location!

Terrible Decision

The rental was a disappointment. First off, the key has to be picked up from a hotel, why not install a lock with a push button code? Because someone has to EXPLAIN how to find the house which is situated at the end of some wonky dirt road near some giant city laundry, and even WITH the explanation, it’s hard to find. Then the AC didn’t work and the place was hot and stuffy. When an email was sent, no response. The next morning a partial refund was requested due to the nonfunctional AC unit. Only then was there a quick response saying no refund. I’m filing a complaint. Plus I personally don’t think Jodi is a real person but that the place is rented by some company. Don’t stay here.

I never would have booked this if the 1 and 2 star reviews had been available. Shame on you VRBO ( ill be using your competitor from now on) ! I’ve never given a bad review and I book quite a bit, but here goes. You get the key at the Days (should have been a clue to the quality) we got terrible directions and went back. The clerk called someone else who was very snippy. We tried again and by driving through woods past dark warehouses in a place that at night did not seem to be a road, we got there. I would say it was Days inn clean, but there was NOTHING. else. TV in every room and NONE OF THEM worked. (Guys would have like to watch bball and it was raining so outdoor activities were out) And NO WI-FI! Kitchen was stocked terribly! Pans I wouldn’t even put in a garage sale. A 5-cup coffee pot ( probably from the Days Inn). Plates and cups ok, but no glasses and cutlery was really janky. Overall — felt like I stayed at a broke down Days Inn at Four Seasons price.

Creepy location with back door locks Not working

No Internet! I have messaged host asking for the internet info but no response before the cancellation period. Back doors locks were not locking, ended up moving the couches against the doors.

TERRIBLE STAY

House was in the middle of nowhere. It was hard to find the house. It was next to a laundry industrial facility. Once we got to the house it was not off the lake and couldn't see the lake. The house was dirty and smelled bad. The carpet was nasty, and it was stains on the toilets. The house does not have WIFI. An overall dump. Never again.

House was nice but...

The house itself was very nice. Outside needs some work. Shrubs and plants surrounding the house are all overgrown. The kitchen is very poorly stocked. Only a couple pots and pans, no dish soap or dishwasher soap, no spices or seasonings for cooking. Also no kitchen knives. Made it very hard to cook meals. None of the antennae TVs worked. Communication was nonexistent. Never heard from the host on checking in until the afternoon before arrival and then it was just an email stating where we could pick up the key. No check in or check out instructions. Very hard to find the house. You have to drive through by a commercial laundry to find the house. It isn't seen from the highway and there is no house number sign by the highway. Won't be staying here again

Bad place to stay.

The worst we have experienced in more than 15 years of using VRBO. Should be delisted. Poorly furnished. Inadequate kitchen pans/utensils. No cable and internet which was not apparent until you booked and made the first payment. No extra toilet paper. No soap in the bathrooms. No dish detergent or dishwasher detergent. No laundry detergent. All people we dealt with we’re rude. Don’t stay there!

Bad First Impression

Property is owned by a motel chain so you get the VBRO look with the motel experience. You have to pick the keys up from a different motel and when we did, they didnt have the keys. They were still cleaning the place and told us that when we get there the cleaners would give us the keys. When we arrived we had to wait 30 minutes past check in for them to finish up and give us the keys and leave which was difficult after a long drive and antsy kids in the car. Once we were in the house, I can say its as lovely as pictured and we were comfortable. Only three complaints - 1) the floors were very dirty/sticky which is strange cus the place smelled clean. Its almost as if when the floor was washed last, the soap was left to dry instead of being mopped up. 2) there are several exterior doors (6 I believe) and all of them were left unlocked upon our arrival. Had I not thought to check all of them, we wouldve went to sleep with doors open. 3) The listing says that the property is lakeside and has a communal pool - neither is true. The lake is across the 4-lane road (house is set back into the woods a bit) and if there is a pool I imagine its the pool at one of the owned motels and were never provided instructions to access it. Tips for finding the location - Directly across from Sun Beach and Northwinds Motel (look for large green campground billboard). Take an immediate right and drive past the all industrial cleaning buildings all the way down.

False Advertising!!

You can’t read reviews until after you book- that’s your first red flag! Everything from prev reviews is true. The worst part is being so close to the industrial laundry facility. There is only a thin line of trees separating the house & the new addition to the facility. A past renter complained about the entire house having cheap, ugly hotel furniture instead of the aesthetically decorated house in the pictures- this is 100% true and so disappointing. Past renters complained about the house being filthy- our experience wasn’t terrible in this area however I am not sure who I have to thank for that- the owner or past renters who stated they deep cleaned the fridge among other areas of the house. Past renters complained about the lack of security on the doors, the owners fixed this problem by placing several zip ties on the office French doors (lazy & unsafe!). A past renter complained about a laundry truck blocking them in, unable to leave -that happened to us too. This trip was supposed to be for a bachelorette party, however due to a death in the bride’s family 4 days after the “no refund” date, the prop owner did not even respond to our messages for even a partial refund! The room with 4 single beds was very hot. Outside grounds are atrocious and covered in ant hills! The exterior landscaping is overgrown and moss grows in the roof and stairs. Pros: It is a place to sleep conveniently located to town. We enjoyed the fire pit and beach access. Good luck if you stay here.

NOT AS ADVERTISED - PERTINENT INFO OMITTED!!!

First of all, I was instructed to go to the office of the Days Inn to pick up the key. The lady at the desk was very nice and drew a little map to the house. When we followed the directions we could not find it. Words could never describe the way you have to get to this house. When you turn off the paved road all you see is a warehouse which appears to be a commercial laundry service. Sketchy people are smoking around the building and parking lot. We drove around behind the building to find a place to turn around and there are stacks of storage containers and no way to get out. We turned around and went back to the highway to see if there was another road. Nope. We go back and turn into the parking lot of the laundry facility, driving passed the doors with everyone looking at us and onto a narrow gravel road leading into dense trees, no house in site. There was a small, weathered wooden sign with "11431" on it. The address to the house is 11432 but we proceeded until we saw a house. I had to pull up the pictures in the listing and study them to make sure it was the correct house. Once we decided it must be there was no way to get to the front door so we drove around to the side. The first picture if the back of the house, not the front. The yard, shrubs and flower beds are overgrown and moss and algae are all over the front porch and stone flowerbeds. The key is not for the front door, it's for the door that enters the garage. I did a quick tour and then tried to figure out how to get out of this reservation. Since the rest of our family was arriving shortly we decided to stay and I went to the grocery store. When I got back I opened the refrigerator and almost died, it was so gross. I had to scrub it down before I would dare put food in it. The silverware drawer was dirty with food droppings and crumbs in the trays. I had to clean those as well. There was some kind of dark brown liquid spilled on the floor just under the frig. I didn't even try to clean that it was so gross. There were no dishes/glasses in the cabinet but I found them in the dishwasher. The shower in the master bathroom had long, black hairs stuck to the wall and floor. The corners were filthy. No soap, one roll of toilet paper and bath rugs that needed vacuuming or at least a good shaking. The info we received the day we checked in said that there was no TV service but there were DVDs and a DVD player. The problem was there was NO cable connecting the DVD player to the TV.

This place shares a driveway with a huge laundry facility and dumping grounds. We chose to lose out on our money and not stay here after seeing it.

Large house, showing some wear, you won’t be able to see the exterior soon, as the growth is taking over, not in a great place, if I hadn’t read the reviews I’m not sure I would have found it. It needs a deep cleaning on walls, ceiling fans, and wall decor, getting and returning the key super easy. The tv remotes didn’t work, along with the dvd player. But, I would still stay there again.

When we checked in property wasn't ready. THE property is owned by Days Inn, very unsanitary,smelled of mold,had to go to Walmart to buy many supplies for our stay. Location is odd by laundry facilities. Quiet location but wouldnt recommend. The waterpark is freezing n in disrepair-very filthy.

Same story as several other lower ratings. House was tricky to find and not clean or ready for us when we arrived. Host was not apologetic or friendly about sending a team to clean the house. No wifi or television channels, but dvd player worked so plan accordingly. Definitely wouldn’t be my first choice to stay again and certainly not worth the price - but the house was spacious and relatively comfortable so it did trick for our short trip.

Large but upkeep was lacking

Overall the house was large and accommodated a large party. It is in a strange location and general upkeep on the home was very lacking for the price you pay. Was a very nice home at one point, but had numerous problems related to upkeep (leaking faucets, broken dishwasher, overgrown landscaping, broken doors, broken tiling around shower). None of these were very detrimental to our stay but the general feeling was it is managed by employees of the Days Inn and they clean well, but likely don't perform the maintenance that is needed to upkeep a home. Location was strange - likely Days Inn bought the home and put in an industrial laundry facility next to it. Have to drive through the laundry facility to get to the home. Other than some difficulty going around cars that are parked in the pathway to the home, once you pass the facility, the site was quiet and wooded and you are not able to see the facility and no noise at night was noted. It is just a bit strange. Overall it was okay, but likely will not stay here again.

Jodi is a joke. She refused to give ANY refund. I tried to cancel 4 days before reservation date. Terrible reply time. When the reservation day came, she didn't send information until I requested it several hours after the check in time. She kept saying "enjoy your stay" even though I told her we were NOT staying. She kept over 1,700 for a two night stay, including the cleaning fee. Go find a hotel or a cabin instead.

Nice place - but bring the unexpected

The property is nice, clean, and secluded. There were no salt and pepper, no spices, and no knives for dicing. Though it’s a house, you’ll need to bring things you typically wouldn’t. The check in process should be much easier than going to a hotel and picking up the key. Start with getting WiFi to the place and using a ring camera door bell as well as a key lock pad for easy check in. It was a good experience. But a one and done.
