Sijaitsee yli 10 hehtaarin suuruisella metsäisellä metsäalueella, tässä kodissa on iso piha, jossa on palokaukalo, joka sopii erinomaisesti yhteistyöhön ja kokoontumiseen, ihana turvatarkastus kuistilla ja oma kävelyreitti omalle laiturillesi Deering-järvelle - yksi New Hampshiren puhtaimmista. järviä.

Cabin in the New Hampshire Woods

We loved our stay at this property. Cabin was perfect for us. Kitchen was fabulous, air conditioning in each room, so comfortable. Outdoor area with fire pit and picnic tables was great. Host was super responsive to our needs.

Beautiful house with Lake access .

Wonderful 3 night stay in this beautiful log home. Access to the lake, dock and kayaks was a bonus. We had a blast on the lake and did a good amount of fishing. We will definitely be back!

Quiet get-away

This property is tucked in woods in a very quiet neighborhood. It is heavily wooded (more-so than the pictures really indicate so there is not much sunlight that makes its way the house and the bedrooms are a little dark as a result). The house was clean and comfortable and the kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed for meals. Communication with the property manager was easy and prompt and they even left some very nice welcome treats. The grill has seen better days as have the stairs leading up to the property which may be a little tricky to maneuver for older visitors- but that didn't hinder our enjoyment of our time there. The access to lake was very nice - our daughter (and our dog) enjoyed swimming to the floating dock and we really enjoyed kayaking around the lake and exploring some of the local trails. Overall a nice get-away!

NH Vacation

The log cabin was very nice and clean. The hosts were so kind and provided some groceries and snacks to start off with. The lake which was down two paths from the house was beautiful.! We had a great time!

Wonderful get away

Our stay was great from the time we arrived to the time we left. The house was clean with everything you will need. The hosts left goodies in the fridge. Short drive to center, Shaws and hardware. The property was private and quiet. Short walk to lake. The path is a bit steep for some.

Great fishing!

My husband and boys absolutely loved the bass fishing on this lake. The neighbors were super friendly and let us plug in our boat for the week so we didn’t have to use portable power for the trolling motor.

Family get away

Lovely log cabin home in the woods, with a quick little walk to the lake to our own dock. We loved having use of kayaks and swimming out to the floating dock. Loved the loons.

Delightful Stay in Deering

The cabin was absolutely gorgeous and well equipped! My adult children loved playing in the lake, and I had a great time cooking for all. The goodies left in the fridge were a really nice touch. We’d love to come again, if our schedules all can accommodate another visit!

Great experience for everyone

It is a very nice and cozy cabin house near a lake. Plenty of skiing and hiking options closely. The house looks newly renovated and clean. Love the open living area with a gas fireplace. Well equipped kitchen and laundry room. The communication with the property manager was easy and timely. Got complimentary snacks, fruits, and drinks waiting for us upon arrival, were also offered early check-in and late check-out. Had a path walking down to a private dock on the lake, which was frozen now. But should be very nice in the summer for swimming and kayaking. Awesome stay overall!

Great lake... great stay!

We had a wonderful time at Deep Mountain Lodge. The house was clean and had everything we needed for a great week at the lake. The kitchen was well stocked and we were able to cook all of our meals with ease. The area is beautiful and we enjoyed exploring Deering Reservoir. The water is perfect for swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding, etc. My husband was able to launch his small sunfish sailboat at the public boat launch and dock it right by the house. At night we enjoyed the campfire on the property. We had a memorable week!

Lovely stay

We had a wonderful week at the camp! It was private and quiet with access to the water which was lovely. The walkway to the water is steep but once there a beautiful spot to spend time swimming and fishing. Host was very responsive and there were sweet welcoming gifts upon arrival. Thanks so much!

Beautiful lake lodge for summer fun

My family and I had a fantastic stay at Tom and Patty’s lodge. The place was super clean, well appointed, and truly as described. Deering Lake is beautiful. We enjoyed boating (we towed our boat) and paddling and the swim platform was the best. My three teens loved every moment and every bit of the lake. The breakfast goodies were a lovely surprise especially since we arrived too late to go to the store so it was wonderful to be able to make breakfast in the morning! Grocery store and some really good restaurants are about a 10 minute drive away. Thank you Tom, Pat, and Lisa for a memorable stay!!!

Relaxing weekend getaway

Despite raining for much of our weekend here, we had a great time. If weather allows, the amenities provided by this property are incredibly good value! Kayaks, lifejackets, beach towels are all provided. The lake is clean and getting out on the kayaks from the private dock was really fun. The house itself was super clean and comfy. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook during our stay, including the BBQ outside. Every room had its own AC control, which is so convenient, especially when you have a big group with different temperature preferences. Only feedback I would leave for the owners is that the upstairs shower curtain is too short and allowed too much leakage. Overall, this place is amazing and very well managed! I highly recommend it to any group or family looking for a getaway in NH!

Perfect for our short getaway!

Four adults all enjoyed the home! The kitchen had everything we needed. The Property Manager/Owner had thoughtful treats and any other items. We will return if vacation time allows us to visit New Hampshire again!

Cabin in the woods

We loved this cabin. Our family comes up to NH to fish the river every year in October. This was our first stay in Deering. The lake is beautiful and clean. The house was perfect and updated. The welcome gift was overly generous and the kitchen had everything we needed. The hosts were super easy to communicate with and helped with all our questions. Recommend 10/10!

Great quiet place to spend time

Very clean. Recently renovated with high end appointments. The owners do a great job providing things like maps of the local area, beer in the refrigerator, snacks, etc. Very private a quiet setting with friendly neighbors.

Best vacation rental

This is an amazing cabin , fully renovated, so clean and everything has been thought out- with all the amenities you would find in a high end hotel. We were greeted with starter food and drink to tide us over until we got to the store on Sunday. The lake is the cleanest we have ever been in, so peaceful and quiet. The owners and management were very responsive to our questions. Don't miss out on a truly calm and peaceful family vacation on a lake. I would give it 10 stars if I could . Meet Tom and Patty Byrne! Our family has been on Deering Lake since the 1950s. Tom runs an education company, while Patty works for a consulting firm. We have two adult daughters: Lindsay, who operates The Wet Nose Project—a dog walking and boarding company with the mission of saving shelter animals; and Jessica, a medical laboratory scientist. We also have two very friendly Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs, named Scout and Blue. We purchased the Deep Mountain property in 2018 and have fully renovated the log house, providing private lake access through our undeveloped lakefront lot just across the way.

This property abuts our family's land so, when we learned it was listed for sale in mid-2018, we made the decision to purchase the property to ensure it was not developed or subdivided. The property included a log home, which we gutted and fully renovated for use as a vacation rental. This project was completed in July 2019, and the house is now ready for guests! We've also added a wooded path that leads to your own private dock and the pristine 323-acre Deering Lake (also known as Deering Reservoir, or by its native American name of Lake Piscataquog—the headwaters of the Piscataquog River).

Enjoy our high-end kitchen, three bedrooms (all with air conditioning), lovely screened porch, large flat screen TVs with hundreds of FIOS channels and Netflix, a large yard with fire pit and a brand new Weber grill that is great for hosting cookouts or gatherings. On the lake, you'll find endless opportunities for fun and relaxation exploring miles of shorefront, or boating and swimming in the crystal-clear waters of Deering Lake.
