Beautiful getaway

Beautiful property. Right on the river. Geese and wild life. Kitchen is reasonably stocked. Hot tub is amazing, had some sort of energy mode that we had to figure out and it is not covered so the tub get debris in it when in use from trees. Seating is comfortable and the house was warm and cozy. The beds were too hard for my liking and i did wake up sore. The pillows are soft.

Absolutely beautiful location

This cabin is located in a perfect spot surrounded by mountains and a flowing creek. We stayed here for a week while day hiking in different spots and you couldn’t ask for a more beautiful spot to come home to especially with the hot tub after long days.

Little slice of heaven

The house and surrounding are exactly as pictured. It did not disappoint!! The view is spectacular! The property was very private and peaceful. The house was clean and very well equipped. The beds were so comfy and the furniture was also comfortable and in great condition. The hot tub was wonderful and we enjoyed it very much! I would highly recommend staying here!

Nice winter retreat

We had a great weekend with friends to celebrate a birthday. The river was open for fly fishing (with a fishing license), the hot tub had amazing views, and the space fit 8 adults really comfortably. We have put the cabin on our list for future visits!

Amazing Views !

This cabin has amazing views and river was flowing nice. Hot tub was nice touch. Wi-Fi does not work and per previous reviews looks like it’s been down for a while. We have Verizon cell service and had 1 bar. I would definitely stay again !!

Beautiful Views

Our family of 6 enjoyed 2 nights at this very cute river cabin. If staying in the summer ask for more boxed fans for better circulation and an attached screen door to be able to leave the back door open, as there is no A/C. The sound of the river is so peaceful. There is a bit of road noise (right on the HWY) and the train here and there throughout the day, but nothing that kept us from enjoying the sound of the river for too long. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked/equipped. The hot tub setting was locked at 103 degrees and we couldn’t get it fixed during our stay, but we think the renters before us did that. We enjoyed it sporadically in the evenings, but the kids weren’t able to. There’s no direct water access from the house, but there are trails nearby that lead to the water. The phone service was touch and go, but the WiFi worked okay. The outdoor furniture was nice and the views are incredible!

Nice little slice of paradise

I was a little worried booking this house based off some of the reviews but it was quite beautiful in general. The views were amazing and the house was well stocked with everything you need. The hot tub was awesome and sits right on the river. The only negative feedback I have is the internet never worked all weekend (i had no cell coverage to try and call to get it fixed), a shower head was spitting water everywhere and the cleaning company left coffee grounds in the coffee maker. Other than that, I would not hesitate to stay there again. We had a very relaxing weekend on the river!!!! You can't go wrong with this house.

Beautiful setting

Views and river are amazing. Cabin is cute. Internet (satellite) so slow and was not really usable. Fine for us, as we did not need it, but not for our son. Hot tub had 1 foot of gross smelly water. No response from management regarding the hot tub after inquiry.

the house was equipped well. The beds were extremely comfortable. Plenty of space for 6 adults.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The kitchen was appointed well. Only thing missing was a griddle to make pancakes/French toast. Living area was comfortable, View was awesome. It was nice to have a washer and dryer to do laundry and towels. Also nice that the laundry detergent was provided. The hot tub was used each night and was a nice way to end the day. Only thing missing outside was some comfortable chairs, like Adirondack chairs. We spent a lot of time outside, it was sunny and hot while we were there, so it would have been nice to have some sort of shade over the deck. Otherwise nice private layout. We would highly recommend this house.

In need of repair and cleaning

As other reviews have noted, the view from the house is incredible. But we were pretty disappointed with the interior of the house based on the price we paid per night. The home was not clean, the hot tub was dirty and the hot tub is advertised as a key feature for the house on the Vacasa site. It was the main reason we rented it (I am aware that it takes well water, but the grime and ring around the hottub was much higher than the water line, so it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while). The house overall is in need of several new basic items (a clean shower curtain, there were many chipped mugs and glasses, no wine glasses, and the screen on the sliding door had holes).

Beautiful veiw and cabin but things broken and not working.

I enjoyed my stay, and loved the view from the cabin, but the first night was stressful because things were broken, like a chair, parts of the trim, and also the DVD player wasn't working correctly. It was also hard to get help with the lock on the door to change the numbers so we would feel safe. No one showed up the next day to help us fix the problem and the directions that we got when we arrived didn't match the kind of lock that was on the door. The cabin is in a great location though and it was very peaceful to come back to after being out shopping in Leavenworth. One more thing. When we arrived the housekeeper was still there at 4;00 which was our check in time. She asked us to wait to enter the cabin until she was done which was about ten minutes later. It was strange. Anyways. I would probably stay her again just because of the location, but I would be sure to get assurance that all is well before arriving.

View is AMAZING, night time guest… not so much!

The view cannot be beat! It’s gorgeous and the sound of the water rushing over the rocks was so calming! The first issue; we did have a night time bandit who ate all of our bread. We assume a raccoon figured out a way to get in through a hole under the cabinets. It pushed down the base board and came right in. We know it’s bound to happen in remote locations like that but we weren’t offered any help or assistance with getting the animal out after notifying Vacasa about the issue. We attempted to secure the area for the second night but the animal got in anyway and dragged its nest into the kitchen. A second issue was the refrigerator temperature. It did not keep anything cold. The third was the washer, it locked and would not open or do anything with our clothes still inside. We had to unplug the washer to get it unlocked. After a few days road-tripping, we were definitely relying on it to be in working condition. We did get it to work but only the last day right before we needed to leave. We were able to get a couple loads done.

Fantastic View but That's It

The hot tub was supposedly cleaned the day before we arrived and obviously hadn't been done even though we were specifically charged a $30 hot tub cleaning fee. There was old coffee left in the coffee pot and blood stains on a pillow in the closet. The street address sign is missing numbers and the driveway isn't well marked. There's no book detailing the amenities, how to handle garbage/recycle/compost, towels to use for the hot tub, available local attractions, check-out list, etc. All carpets definitely need replacing. Both of the leather chairs have ripped headrests which your hair gets caught in. There's no axe to chop the firewood. Some of the blinds/sunscreens don't work. We had to purchase paper towels and garbage bags as spares weren't provided (or at least noted where they were stored). There were only four butter knives. The button descriptions on the dishwasher and toaster oven are worn off so there's no way to tell what the settings are. All of the water is brownish (assuming this is from the well but there is no sign stating so). Would have been nice if there were some yard games available. There's plenty of storage in the front entry/laundry room which would be a great place to store extra supplies (e.g. paper towels and garbage bags). The address is listed as Sultan which doesn't seem correct as it's much closer to Index and Baring. The view of the river is fantastic but I wouldn't return just for it. Given this is a Vacasa property I expected much better.
