Sinä ja hevosesi ovat tervetulleita jäämään kanssamme 4 V. Äskettäin uusittu vierastalo oli alun perin karjatilapäällikkö talo ja äiti-in-law neljäsosaa. Kiinteistöt asettuivat ensimmäisen kerran karjatilojen vuonna 1915, joka juoksi karjaa San Pedro -joen laaksosta länteen Whetstone-vuoristoon. Quiet Getaway

Excellent stay

This is my second time staying at this property, and I love it each time. Caroline and Charlie are wonderful and the property is very relaxing. I love to cook, and the kitchen is fully stocked and a nice big outside grill for making a meal. My parents live 3 miles away and the hotels around them aren't very nice. I will come again and enjoy the peace and views.

Beautiful, comfortable and relaxing

This was by far, our favorite VRBO we have stayed in, and we'll definitely be back. Caroline and Charles are wonderful hosts and the house was well equipped with everything we needed. I love to cook when we travel, and this place had everything we needed to prepare a wonderful meal, including a nice and clean BBQ grill.

Perfect Place

This great little guest house was truly perfect! Quiet, beautifully peaceful, lots of backyard birds to watch and enjoy. The location was ideal for our day trips to all the southern Arizona hiking and historical sites, and quite a bonus to be able to arrive "home" at the end of the day and enjoy a quiet, private meal. Hosts were so kind and not intrusive in the least. We hope to stay here again!

Vacation

I had a wonderful time staying here. Caroline made me feel right at home. The place was horse themed and just beautiful. Beautiful area, peacefull and just what I needed. I enjoyed sitting out on the back porch watching the wild life come in and eat and drink. I will definitely recommend this home and will be back!

Peaceful and relaxing

Perfect!

We had a wonderful time here. The house was spotless clean and I loved the decor. The backyard is large and fenced in, our dog Dewey loved it. We also counted twenty one different kinds of birds on the property. Lots of privacy but if you do need something Caroline and Charlie are right there for you, they are very helpful and so nice. We highly recommend this rental.

Arizona Road Trip

I really enjoyed property in Saint David. I liked that it had acreage to enjoy walking around and the dark night sky was beautiful. Love chatting with the owners and seeing the horses. The bungalow is so cute and perfect for my stay. I liked being able to watch the birds and quail from the kitchen window while cooking and washing dishes. Very lovely property. I would revisit next time I go to southern AZ. Love that I was close to wildlife refuges.

Great place to stay!

There isn't a lot we can add to what other reviewers have said. There's a reason other travelers have given this property such high ratings, and it's because it's a great place to stay! We loved the birds, the views from the property, the convenience and comfort of the cottage, the service from Charlie and Carolyn, and everything else we can think of. In the week we stayed there, we visited Kartchner Caverns, Colossal Cave, Chirichaua Nat'l Monument, Saguaro Nat'l Park, and several other places. One unexpected delight was the bird sanctuary at Holy Trinity Monastery just down the road in St. David. Book a stay here and you will see why everyone raves about what a peaceful and relaxing place it is!

Casita in St David

The 4V property was perfect for us and our dog, Murphy, with a large fenced backyard. The setting was very enjoyable as it was outside of the populated area with views of the desert as well as horses in the pastures. It was very quiet with limited noise from the highway and almost no ambient lighting. The cabin was small with a single bedroom but plenty of space for two in the living area and a well stocked kitchen. We made two hiking trips in the San Pedro River National Conservation Area. The longer hike was in the southern end of the area almost to Tombstone while the shorter hike was along the river north of St David. The hiking trail is along the dry riverbed of the San Pedro River. We only met two couples and their dog along the trail. We ate at three restaurants in Benson--they provided a reasonable selection and were not expensive.

Beautiful and thoughtful guesthouse.

The property is ideal for two people to enjoy a little bit, or a lot, of relaxation and is rather equidistantly located from many of the interesting and beautiful things to do in the area. Everything was SPOTLESS, truly. It is very well equipped in every aspect and many cozy, yet functional touches have been added. A thorough and helpful local attractions booklet was so nice to have available to assist with getting oriented. There was nothing extra that we could have even thought to ask for. There are areas outside to sit, relax, and watch the birds. We were even lucky to hear owl hoots right above us in the trees on the property, albeit you need to be a true night owl or very light sleeper. There is even a BBQ we used for a proper steak dinner one evening. All the touches of home! A lot of care has clearly been put into the house. We highly recommend it and look forward to our next chance to stay here.

Peace in St. David

We had a wonderful stay in St. David at the 4V Ranch. The guest house was clean and cozy. The owners were extremely kind and helpful throughout our stay. From the ranch we were able to enjoy stunning views, beautiful sunsets and all sorts of desert birds. We were in heaven and plan to stay again in the near future.

Terrific location, friendly hosts.

Terrific location—easy access to Kartchner Caverns, Chiricahua National Monument, Bisbee, Tombstone and Patagonia Nature Preserve. Truly enjoyed our weeklong stay. Would certainly return if in this area again. Caroline and Charlie were excellent hosts.
