Etsitkö rauhaa ja yksityisyyttä, mutta haluatko olla lähellä kaupunkia? Tämä kaunis mökki on rentouttava loma, jota olet etsinyt. Rakastat nauttimista rauhallisesta vuoristo- ja jokinäkymästä samalla kun rentoudut kannella!

Mukavuus ja rentoutuminen jatkuvat matkustamon sisällä…. Päätasolta löydät täysin varustetun keittiön, joka avautuu kauniiseen olohuoneeseen, jossa on viihtyisä puulämmitteinen takka ja taulutelevisio kaapelilla. Tuomiokirkon katto puisilla palkeilla tarjoavat viehätysmökin. Avoin suuri huone sopii hyvin keskusteluihin olohuoneesta, ruokailutilasta ja keittiöstä. Lisäksi päätasolla on makuuhuone, jossa mukava queen-vuode ja täysi kylpyamme.

Yläkerrassa on toinen tilava makuuhuone king-size-vuoteella ja puoli kylpyä. Saatavilla on myös taulutelevisio kaapelilla, jotta voit kiinni suosikkiohjelmastasi ennen nukahtamista.

Alemmalla tasolla on pelihuone, jossa on Foosball-pöytä pöytäviihdettä varten, ja vain DVD-televisio, jotta lapset tai aikuiset voivat nauttia musiikista tai elokuvista ..

Astu kannelle päätasolta ja löydät ulkona istumapaikat nauttimaan näkymistä joelle ja vuorille sekä propaanigrillin grillaamiseen ja viihdyttämiseen täydellisessä yksityisyydessä noilla viileillä Carolina Mountain -iltoilla.

Rauhallisuus on kätevää joillekin Ashe Countyn hienoimmista kalastuksista. Sekä Helton Creek että Big Horse Creek ovat varusteltuja taimenvirtoja ja vain lyhyen ajomatkan päässä matkustamosta. New River on juuri hytin alapuolella ja sopii erinomaisesti melontaan, letkuihin ja kalastukseen. Rauhallisuus on vain 5 minuutin päässä Lansingista, 10 minuutin päässä Jeffersonista ja 45 minuutin päässä Boone-alueelta. Ashe Countyn luoteisosassa sijaitseva olet myös lähellä Virginia Creeper - Pohjois-Carolina ja Virginian premier-maastopyöräilyreittiä, joka ulottuu 34 mailin päässä Abingdonista, Damaskoksen kauniissa kaupungissa, Whitetop Laurel -joen varrella ja jopa sen korkein kohta Whitetop Stationilla, lähellä NC-osavaltion linjaa. Virginia Creeper Trail on avoinna ympäri vuoden retkeilyyn, maastopyöräilyyn ja ratsastukseen. Älä missaa tätä matkaa - räjähdys koko perheelle, sillä useita pyörävuokraamoja palvelee sinua. Cute Cabin

We stayed here when my daughter and I ran a 50k. It’s convenient to Grayson Highlands, think it was a 25 min drive. Cabin was quiet and sits up on top of a hill. Definitely stay again if we are in the area.

What a view of the river!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My friend and I rented this cabin one weekend so we could run a race. The cabin was easy to find and came fully stocked with towels and cooking supplies. The driveway is steep and very difficult to get up if it is raining. We have a 4x4 suv and ended up parking at the bottom of the hill while it was raining due to difficulty getting up the driveway. The exercise room is very dated and has the supplies in the pics. There is air conditioning, but it was being fixed while we were there. The company is great with reminders and is very responsive to any questions or concerns. The house also has a beautiful view of the river. Overall it was a positive experience.

Great location, tricky driveway

Reviewer Comments: Overall, the property was very nice, has a great wrap around deck on the back and the upstairs bedroom was a comfortable. We didn't use the downstairs bedroom and only went in the game room once for a few games of foosball. The driveway is definitely designed for 4 wheel drive. When we were there it was covered in about an inch of wet leaves. It was like driving on ice and we actually started sliding down the hill. I found a rake in the garage and cleared the entire driveway. Great views and sounds of the rivers/creeks below, and the deck looked over them and was a great spot to grill or have coffee. There was a critter or two in the crawl space behind the master bedroom that seemed to like to move around about 3am every morning. Would have like to have had a shower in the upstairs bathroom versus having to go to the downstairs bathroom to shower. Kitchen looks like it's in the process of some upgrades, but the whole house had a "commercial" feel to it. Not like you were staying at someone's home, more of an extended stay hotel.

Wooded retreat

Clean and comfortable, Tranquility was just what we needed for our trip to Ashe County. Close to Churches of the Frescoes, Grayson Highlands Park & VA Creeper trail.

Nicely secluded with a river view but no access to river. Living room area was very small and would be cramped for more than two persons. The amenities were very sparse compared to other cabins I have rented. If you are going to need it, take it with you! Downstairs bedroom carpet had residual odors from pet accidents.

Place was exactly what we needed! Beautiful views and was nicely located between a lot of good activities. Make sure to follow the directions they send you because the gps was a little off. Decent amount of cooking equipment, but I would bring all your own ingredients since the spices they did have were random.

Pleasant Surprise

Tranquil, comfortable, cozy. A very relaxing environment. My Crosstrek took the steep drive with ease but two wheel drive might struggle for traction. I found it fun. Would love to see upgraded appliances in kitchen. A convection toaster oven would be great. Need things like tongs and some grill utensils. We would definitely return!

Enjoyable Four Days

A small snaffu getting in but management company was instantly responsive. Spent a lot of time on deck with its beautiful view. Short drive 10-15 minutes to charming West Jefferson. Nice trail along river in Lansing which is 2 miles away. Lots of fly fishing opportunities. Management company was great to work with. Suggest bringing your own towels. Definitely recommend.

Cute Little Cabin

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This cabin is in a perfect location, secluded yet close to Jefferson and West Jefferson. The property looked very clean when we arrived, however we did notice spider webs. We also caught quite a few stink bugs, I think it was the season for them. Things we loved... the fireplace and the firewood in the garage, the location, the view of the river, the tree close to the deck(beautiful yellow leaves), very close to Witche's Tree, and the artifacts from Lansing Elementary School (COOL). Some things that would of made our stay more pleasant: an iron and ironing board, hairdryer, hot tub, a shower upstairs would of been nice and a dehumidifier in the game room, which we did not even use because of the musky smell. Overall we had a pleasant stay, it rained the whole time we were here but we did venture into West Jefferson and tried the brew at Boondocks which was Awesome. We ate at Mountain Aire Seafood & Steaks....DELICIOUS!! Thanks for letting us use your cabin for a weekend, we had a lovely time.

VERY Nice getaway!!

Everything went smoothly. Was a nice little house. Clean and quite. Only fallback was the basement. Had musty smell. So we didn't use the Foosball table. Other than that we had a great time!! Driveway a little bit tight for a large truck like mine. But we managed.

Great location near the New River, short drive from Jefferson, and only a few minutes from Lansing (groceries, several small restaurants). The house is comfortable - it could have used another cleaning before we arrived - there were a number of spider webs we walked through when we first arrived. The kitchen is pretty well stocked for a could really use some newer drinking glasses, but we were thrilled to see lots of almost new, and really good cook ware (pots/pans). The downstairs (basement) “playroom” with a tv and foosball table really wasn’t a usable space - it was very musty and not pleasant - at least not for our 10 yr old. Overall, we’ll likely return again and were pleased with Tranquility.
