Tässä ihastuttavassa kodissa on kaikki mitä halutaan Lakefront-kiinteistöllä, mukaan lukien venelaituri ja jopa oma hiekkaranta aivan koskemattomilla vesillä! Sisältä löytyy puuhella lämmittämiseen viileämpinä kuukausina sekä kaapelilla varustettu taulu-tv. Siemaile aamukahviasi kalustetulle kannelle ja pyöritä päiväsi valmistamalla aterioita kaasugrilli.

Anna-järvi on aivan oven ulkopuolella, ja päällystetty kävelytie kulkee vehreän maiseman läpi. Laiturilla ja venelaiturilla voit nauttia veneilystä, uinnista, kalastuksesta tai lähteä kanootille tai kajakkille päiväksi auringossa. Pakkaa auto ja tee päiväretki Lake Anna State Park -puistoon (yhdeksän mailin päässä), joka tarjoaa retkeilyreittejä, telakoita, suuren hiekkarannan ja leikkipaikan.

Lakeside with multiple houses

Great location on Lake Anna when staying with a large group and needing multiple houses. This is out third year staying here and will continue to be a go to location!

Best Stay Ever

This place had everything included that you would usually have to pay extra for or don't have the option to have it at all. Private beach, dock, volleyball court, canoe, paddle board, life jackets, and hot tub for the extra price of 0 dollars. They were all included. Consider that because it was super convenient. The house is also a mile away from a Marina so you can drop in and out boats and skis very easily. Also have gas on site.

Beautiful everything!

LOVED the house and the private beach. Spacious and luxurious. We loved the estras - linen, paper goods, boating, etc. Downside was none of the TVs worked and there is NOTHING to do in the area if you want to go out a bit.

Big WINDOWS & Warm Inside

Unexpectedly the weather was windy and very cold. Thank goodness we had a beautiful view from inside a warm home. We did venture out on the third day for a little while. The hot tub was a blessing and allowed us to be outside in its comfortable waters to save our lake Anna visit.

Crazy price jump

I feel like an honest review is a complete review which includes the good, bad and ugly. Pulling up to the property we immediately noticed a beautiful home, but was hit with trash that had not been taken or the grass moved as soon as we pulled into the driveway. Neither were deal breakers. We could live with the grass, but did notify about the trash since we would need room for our own. It was picked within 24hrs later. We found a little trash in the yard and just cleaned it up as we saw it. Going inside the home it was incredibly spacious with plenty of seating for everyone. A huge kitchen with seating for entire family dinners (appreciated by mom who loves having everyone sit together). However, dishes were put away dirty, drawers had crumbs and cobwebs were behind tables and on light fixtures. Again, nothing I couldn’t clean up and deal with for the space and being able to have everyone under one roof at an affordable price. I would suggest getting a few dishwasher safe kid friendly plates and bowls. We brought a few so it wasn’t a big deal for us. In the bedrooms a few questionable spots were on the comforters which could all use a good dry cleaning. Throw blankets had a hint of sour milk smell to them. Nothing that couldn’t be fixed by throwing them in the washer which we did and all was well. The master bedroom could use a mattress topper. The bed was pretty rough, but not the worst so we made do. The hot tub had sand in it which is expected since you do have a beach on site. The only issue was the chemicals were off and the chlorine was so high it made some of my kids itchy. We just showered after and it was fine. An outside hose would help. We put water in a can to rinse our feet after the beach. It helped keep sand out of the hot tub and house. The location and home are beautiful! I know rentals get beat up pretty badly so a little tlc could help inside and out. We loved this home so much that we tried booking it again for next year. We were completely mind blown when the price came out to fives times what we paid for this trip 😳 I can kinda understand if it doubled, but fives times is extremely expensive. We were sadden by this since we thought we found our new home away from home. Our last lake rental we stayed at for 5yrs. We eventually outgrew it and found this property. This would be our new place, but I can’t justify spending five times more 😞

The beach was nice, probably the best part of the trip. The deck was not attractive/welcoming, did not use, the hot tub cover needs replaced and appeared unwelcoming, sand in the hot tub. Kitchen was dirty, food product on cabinets, inside cabinets, and on dishes. Dirty floors, junk and dust thrown in corners. Pillows were comfortable. Comforter had stains, not sure they change those out, eww. Ants everywhere, due to the open sugar and syrup left in cabinet, as well as the broken screens in the kitchen windows. I took pictures,and compared them to the online pics, the beach and bathroom was the most accurate Picture on the website.

Family Fun

My family of 12 have stayed in a variety of VRBO properties over the last 15 years. We truly enjoyed the kayaks, paddle boards and beach chairs as well as the rom arrangements. However while the location and set up of this property was great the house itself could use some updating for the price point. Specifically the bathroom exhaust fans, cleanliness of the entire house, mattresses replaced and stove replaced. We would consider re-renting the property for the lake set up but not the house at this price point.

Amazing beach!

This beach is amazing. It’s roughly 300 feet of waterfront that is private. Nice cove w/ sandy bottom for swimming. Two docks and a swim platform are there as boundaries. We really enjoyed our time floating and hanging in the water. The fire pit is down by the water w/ some picnic tables. The kids loved the hot tub as well. The house is a nice layout. 3 beds and two baths on the first floor and two beds and 1 bath on the 2nd floor. The kitchen is nice a spacious. The family room also has a lot of space to spread out. Loved the extra fridge in the laundry room. A few small suggestions: a few more chairs for the beach/boat house would be great. Updating the water toys (new kayaks, new paddles ect). The house is obviously rented hard and some TLC would go a long way (mattresses in the trundle beds, curtains on the bed room window upstairs, working light bulbs, larger garbage cans outside). Overall loved the stay and would love to come back!

No security - !

This house has the potential to be nice. The only door on the house that locks.. is the door with the keypad. NONE of the other doors lock, and it was very dangerous, as there was no way to secure the house while you slept. You could literally stay anytime you want... because theres no way to secure the house. Also, dont count on sitting around table, because many of the chairs have broken legs that someone "attempted" to screw back on, but would collapse with a normal adult. Ant traps on evey counter..with ants everywhere..and roach traps in the cupboard.... We had multiple friends come in from out of state, and we obviously had no choice, but to stay. I was disappointed in this stay, and expected more for the price.

Lovely home with a beautiful beach

The beach was absolutely fantastic! We had 5 kids in our family with us and it was just wonderful. The kitchen is huge and all 4 of us girls had fun cooking together! The house could really use a deep clean. There was a very musty smell and it seemed that the duct work could use a cleaning. Overall, we loved the house, beach, and lake. Had a blast!

Secluded and serene

The home was beautifully updated and more spacious than photos. The hot tub was dirty and needed to be cleaned, but we used it anyway. The beach was private and full of activities to keep the kids busy. The property needs a deep cleaning....grout updates and drywall repair and paint. For the money, those things need to be addresses. Otherwise, we will be back for a longer stay. Who knew we were lake people? Thx!!

Family get-away

Everything was as described, and we very much enjoyed Sunset Beach. We particularly appreciated that the hot tub was clean when we arrived, but got cleaned mid-week. Very comfortable for us and our adult children and their partners.

Merriment at Sunset Beach

Beautiful House. Loved everything about it. We brought our own Christmas decorations to spice up the atmosphere. Every night the fire pit was used. Plenty of room. The hot tub was cozy. the dishwasher did not work.

Perfect place

The cabin was that most perfect place to share with my family. Everything was good, we had a lot of fun, the cabin is very comfortable and cozy, it has many things to do without having to go anywhere, my family and I were delighted with the cabin and of course we would return to enjoy more of everything there have to do.

Lake House Stay 2021

The views and surroundings area was perfect for all involved. Ages from 50-1 years old. We all enjoyed the week and the house. Hot tub was green for our entire stay and was unused. We were visited by a Turkey Buzzard one morning that hung out on the porch after crashing into the window. He was dazed but fine. Kids and boys g kids loved that interaction.

Great for children

Beach area was great for our 2 year old grandchild. Our older grandkids loved the kayaks & floating dock. The deck, shaded yard & fire pit was thoroughly enjoyed. Great location & beautiful sunsets. Only disappointment was dirty hot tub.
