Wecoma Beach Retreat

This was a great house for our girls beach weekend! Location was perfect with easy beach access a few blocks away, and we were even able to walk to and from Casino. The hot tub was clean and stayed at the perfect temperature. Would highly recommend staying at Wecoma Beach Retreat for a nice, relaxing weekend getaway.

Very Satisfied.

We especially like having the two separate compartments and the game room. We did need to have help with finding the electrical box and flipping a switch. The issue was quickly resolved. We would be most willing to stay again.

Very clean and updated home. Easy walk to the beach. The game room and bedroom suite complete with its own kitchenette was more than we had anticipated. We would stay here again.

Bachelor Trip success

The house was absolutely perfect. Made my friends Bachelor party/trip that much better. Made me feel like I was visiting family in Southern California. Just felt like home. The renovations inside were beautiful. Kitchen was great as well as the grill. We cooked breakfast just about every morning and a dinner and it was a nice large amount of counter space and utensils were plentiful. Beds were comfortable. Bathrooms were roomy and clean. The location was great as the beach was about a 5 min walk so it was perfect for us to pack stuff down and pack stuff up. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a getaway to Lincoln City. The boys and I loved it and hopefully will do it again.

A fun weekend getaway

This house was spotless and well maintained. Though the layout of the house is unusual, it proved to be a perfect place for the teens and adults in the group to have separate spaces to hang out. We accidentally locked ourselves outside at one point and the management company was very responsive and got us back inside quickly. A fun stay at the beach!

Wecoma Beach Retreat

This was a very comfortable and enjoyable home to stay in for a long weekend on the Oregon coast. The location was great; in a nice, quiet neighborhood and about a 5 minute walk to the beach and dog friendly which is a huge plus for us. The beds were all very comfortable; and a large game room, laundry room, and separate bedroom with its' own small kitchen area and bathroom was great for a group of 5 people. The large covered, back-patio area with the hot tub and heater was the icing on the cake and made for a great, relatively private area to relax morning and night. It is a very clean and comfortable place to stay and I would recommend to friends for sure.

Great location for relaxing

In a very nice friendly neighborhood. Peacefull. Not far walk to the beach. Single level home... so no high stairs. Great kitchen! This unit has a seperate 3rd bedroom that has its own kitchen. And there is a 3rd refrigerator/freezer just inside this seperate unit by the patio area. So lots of storage for food and drinks. The main kitchen is well stocked with stuff. The seperate unit is pretty sparse, but I guess u can get stuff from the main house. Close to the casino, and Safeway. Love this neighborhood and area to stay. People drive respectfully in this quaint neighborhood so great area to walk if don't want to get sand in your shoes.

Great Place

We enjoyed our stay with our two pups. Hot tub was great with the cold evenings. There was no coffee pot when we arrived and Tim, their maintenance person, brought us a brand new coffee maker right away. He was very nice. There was also a small ant problem in the studio, which we reported. Overall, it was very comfortable and we'd stay again in this quirky rental!

Fantastic and cozy place

Loved the set up and the details, thank you for supplying us with plenty to cook with, clean with. Appreciated having the back space to ourselves. Game room and hot tub were just bonuses to the comfort and cozy that is offered here. The renovations and updating don’t go un-noticed here, someone has taken the time and money and made this place a great little vacation spot. The neighborhood is quiet and calm. Thanks

Just fantastic

My only complaints are that the Wi-Fi did not reach the studio apartment so I was unable to watch TV and I would have loved to have a tea pot. Other than that, it was a comfortable, welcoming, well appointed, cozy home.

Nice stay but price for the house and location

The house was nice and very clean , a bit smaller that the pictures showed, but enough space for six people. Easy communication with the Property manager. But gave us 0 flexibility with late check out . The check out is at 10:00 am very early for a vacation weekend . the regular check out For most rentals and hotels is 11 or 12 . We ask for a bit late check out the answer was “ NOT” I bit disappointed with this . It is a shame that VRBO allow others bussiness like Vacasa to use their plataform for vacation rentals , that practice just increase the price for the rental with not extra services at all . Anyway it was a nice weekend overall but a bit price .

Ants!

Ants all over the kitchen counter and in the apartment bathroom. I texted the next day and I was told that they put an ant trap behind the coffee pot to take care of them. Proceeded to tell me that there was nothing they could do short of coming over and smashing them for us. I bought more ant traps to combat them. We kept all food off of the counter the entire stay and did not use the coffee pot. We liked the house, it was very comfortable. I wish I could say more positive things. Vacasa could have done more, but there was no attempt at all.

Mostly Great House

The furnishings in the house are high quality and everything was clean and cozy. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware, dishes, & even some basic food items which was nice. The game room was excellent and the additional refrigerator was very appreciated. The house is a quick walk to beach access and a short drive to town or to the casino if that’s your thing. (Pro tip: if you have to access anything near the casino/Safeway go west to Jetty St. then follow it around to the 40th. Turning left on 101 is a pain!) However, there were no instructions for how to operate anything or where to find things such as the laundry room and space heater for the game room. Luckily we had a group with a broad knowledge of how things work so we were able to mostly figure out the fireplace, thermostat, tv/sound system, & hot tub. Unfortunately we never could get the patio heater to work so we spent less time out there than we would have liked. Additionally the microwave and stove top in the game-room bedroom suite did not work. Oh yeah, the game-room bedroom suite…it would have been nice to know in advance that it was only possible to access it by walking outside. Last, the roof is leaking in multiple places. There is a tarp covering the roof, but it does little good. There is some signage in the game room that points out the leaky roof in there, but we found leaks in the bathroom of that addition, and in the laundry room as well.
