Great spot - loved the lumberyard area. The house was really comfortable and walkable to downtown and the lumberyard areas of Brevard. Can’t wait to come back!

Comfortable cottage

This cottage was a great fit for our family. It was comfortable and close to the main part of town. We appreciated the well-equipped kitchen and the many personal touches.

Weekend in Brevard

Living our Bungalow Dreams

This house was so cozy and well appointed. It was peaceful, comfortable, and so close to everything! The front porch was so dreamy and the neighborhood is lovely. The house was the perfect combo of modern comfort and the vintage feel of original bungalow architecture. The host was so accommodating and kind. We would stay here again and recommend it highly!

Spring Break Mountain Retreat

My wife, kids and I couldn't be more pleased with the property! great little mountain house, in the perfect location to walk/ride to town, lumber district, Bracken Mtn, and even Pisgah. Great porch to sit out at night, or have a fire inside (when the weather hits!). Love this place!

Great House

Comfortable home in a location that's convenient to Main Street and the Greenway. Nice porch for relaxing and space to store bicycles. We will definitely be back!

Moving stay

Walking distance to breakfast/lunch/dinner. Convenient and functional for our moving needs. Only complaint for us was not very well lit rooms and bathrooms

Cutest, Most Convenient Location in Brevard

The property was all we had hoped it would be for our mini-family reunion. It's in a lovely part of town, convenient to town central, and was just lovely. Furnishings were perfect, appliances modern, and just very homey. My sister lives in Brevard, and highly recommends the area as quiet, safe of course, and surrounded by charming Old Brevard homes. Best VRBO we've stayed in in the last decade. The hosts are responsive, cordial, full of good local suggestions.

Excellent house

I really enjoyed staying in this house. The neighborhood was very peaceful and I enjoyed sitting on the front porch. The location allowed me to walk to several places and it is also near the grocery store. The house had a very nice layout which made it easy to stay organized. I especially appreciated the downstairs area where my teenage daughter could stay up later and not disturb me. I do think the basement set up is ideal if you are traveling with kids. The house had everything you could possibly need with a well-stocked kitchen. The hosts were very friendly and responsive. Would definitely stay there again!

Cute cottage in Brevard

The location was perfect for us. We were attending a daughter's wedding and her home is nearby. The wedding was actually in Cedar Mt. but everything else we needed or attended was in Brevard. My husband and I only had one additional family member, an adult son who flew in from Portland. The home is well furnished, comfortable and definitely has character. It was clean, quiet, and met our needs. I love the cute and comfortable front porch.

Terrific Cozy Cottage in Brevard

The cottage was perfect for our visit. In this case it was my husband and myself, but there was plenty of room to spread out if others had visited us (a second bedroom on the main floor. The downstairs had a really nice bedroom, bath and den area as well as couch, fireplace and TV. ) We especially liked the Master Bedroom on the main floor. The front porch is quaint and welcoming. The house is very well done with nice touches for guests. The kitchen has all one needs for cooking and a gas range. The owners have made it easy for visitors to feel welcome and have space to unpack to settle in whether for a few days or longer. We spent 10 days and thoroughly enjoyed the cottage. Plus it is convenient to town - while we didn't walk to town, it would be easy to do. We did walk to the Lumberyard for a lunch and dinner. Parking is simple with the u-shaped drive way. We were thrilled to see the white squirrels in the yard. Overall it was a terrific stay for us.

Quaint, clean and relaxing

We had an amazing week in Brevard, all because of our stay at this meticulously clean, pleasantly decorated and comfortable home.. As soon as we pulled into the spacious driveway, we knew we had made the right choice! The owners were very easy to communicate with before our arrival and during the week. Check in was simple, and they responded to any inquiries in a very timely manner. The cozy front porch welcomed us into a warm and well equipped home which suited our family needs. The downstairs area offered the teens their privacy as well as a fun space to play games. The kitchen was stocked with all necessities plus some! Beds were comfy and linens were plentiful! We loved all of the wild life around the home and each night was quiet and peaceful sitting on the front porch! Country feel but yet steps from downtown Brevard! The house was close to Pisgah, DuPont, The Gorges, and less than an hour to Ashville! So much to do in and around Brevard as well!! We will definitely be back to this vrbo again! Thanks Landrums!

Great house in a great location

This was a great house in a great location. Short walk to downtown. Quiet neighborhood. There was a large front porch with lots of seating that was very enjoyable.The street was very quiet, so we hung out on the front porch quite a bit. Everything about the house was great. Clean. It had a well stocked kitchen. The back porch off the kitchen was a little unusual. Two chairs, a small table, and no way to get to the yard except through the house. We still grabbed two more chairs out there and were just able to squeeze four people there. The hosts were great. Even when a small issue popped up, they handled it promptly and professionally. I really enjoyed staying there.

Well Stocked and Convenient

We enjoyed our stay in Brevard at this comfortable house. It is well stocked and it's really nice being able to walk anywhere. Brevard is a nice little town with some great dining, hiking, mountain and gravel biking. We plan on coming back.

This is the epitome of a mountain bungalow. We love that it has two floors to give everyone space to relax. The location is perfect and even though it is in town it is a nice large lot that gives you a really good feeling when outside enjoying the porch.
