Stargazer on 720 neliömetrin täysin kalustettu mökki, joka sijaitsee Appalachien vuorten jalkamäkeillä. Tähtitieteilijät nauttivat! Korkeus on 2250 '. Se on upea näkymä. Tule kokemaan upeaa laskua, lehdet, auringonnousua viehättävässä näkymässä tai katsele sängyssä makaavia Perseids-meteorisuihkuja. Vaellusreittejä on 6 mailia retkeilyyn, pyöräilyyn ja villieläinten tarkkailuun. Siellä on uusi lampi, piknik-alue katetulla kannella ja palokuopalla. Metsästys, kalastus, pyydystäminen tai ruokinta ei ole sallittua.

Beautiful view!!

Very accurate to listing. Property was perfect for my birthday weekend with my boyfriend and dogs. Beautiful views even in snowy weather. Lisa is AMAZING!!! We had a small accident and she replied and came to help very quickly!!! Could not have asked for a better weekend! Town of Wellsville is beautiful as well.

Southern Tier Perfection!

I booked the Stargazer for the views, the trails, and amenities of the cottage - it did not disappoint! The listing photos are very accurate, with the views being even more beautiful in person. This is a very quiet location (might have heard 3 cars pass by all weekend!) and has a "get away from it all" feel. The accommodations made me feel at home right away, the kitchen provides anything you could need - full-sized appliances, Keurig, microwave, and anything you'd need for cooking. The bedroom has an incredibly comfortable bed and good storage. There's a nicely sized full bathroom (full-size shower/tub with great water pressure!) The cottage was clearly cleaned and prepped for my arrival. Marilyn provided quick replies to my messages throughout the planning and my stay. My dog and I loved the trails! The trail maps are nicely coded and labeled and the trails themselves were clear and easy to see while walking. The trail system gives you options of shorter or longer hikes depending on the turns you take. The cottage was dog-friendly with space for his food bowls, lots of floor space to stretch out and flooring that was easy to clean.If you're looking for a quiet getaway in nature with all the comforts of home, this is the place to go!

First White Christmas

It was just a describe. Quiet, peaceful and the cabin was cute and cozy wonderful view. We had a fantastic time sledding and playing in the snow. The host was awesome we got into town late and she made sure the lights weren’t on for us also made sure the drive way was plowed for accessibility. Thank you

Perfect

Wonderful stay for a long weekend with 2 senior dogs with a lot of space to roam. With deep appreciation Marilyn, for sharing the stunning views, very comfy and cozy accommodations stocked with everything I needed. Top of my "visit" again list for sure!

The property was excellent! Very comfortable and relaxing. The Beef Haus in Wellsville is a great local restaurant, but the barbecue grill on the back porch was an excellent way to enjoy some good food as well.

This gem of a cottage has absolutely stunning views. We booked our stay during a new moon in hopes of seeing the Milky Way at night. Unfortunately, it rained. Thankfully the cottage is 10 minutes from Wellsville so we had a good evening there and a warm, cozy place to spend the night. The bed was very comfortable. Even though it is five hours from our home, we hope to return when the weather is conducive for stargazing.

Quiet getaway with an amazing view

Was looking for a relaxing place where I could decompress after a stressful project for work and we very satisfied with this property. Great view off the back deck for stargazing or to spot the several deer, hummingbirds, groundhogs, etc that visit that open space from time to time. Excellent kitchen equipment. Very easy to communicate with the owner. A little dusty in a few corners, but certainly cleaner than most of the cottage/cabin vacation spots that I've frequented in the past. Strongly recommend if you need a break and a change of scenery.

Quiet and relaxing

The cottage was very quiet. The view was outstanding. We enjoyed watching the deer in the field in the morning and evening. Wellsville is only 12 minutes away so we could still make a quick trip into town if needed. We would definitely like to come back in the future.

Great getaway

Wanted to see stars and although the first night was cloudy, the second night delivered quite a show including a meteor sighting. Hosts were pleasant and responsive. They really want to provide their guest a private and pleasant stay. The cabin was clean and exceptionally well stocked. The bed was very comfortable. A few things in the cabin could use a little TLC but did not influence our stay. Saw wild turkey and many deer. The deck provided great scenery and peace.

The place was very clean and comfy there were just a couple of issues with the place the lack of a second tv in the bedroom,the telescope for the stargazing didn’t work witch was a huge disappointment and the finding of pet and or people ashes in what appeared to be boxes was disturbing but my over all rating would be a 4 out of 5 stars

Hidden Gem

Nestled back from the road on top of the hill, this cabin was perfect for the peace & tranquility I sought. Stargazer has a welcoming, homey feel & is equipped with all of your essentials and then some. Special features such as a wood burning stove, glass windows over looking the deck, wooded landscape & a telescope to enjoy the night sky are a few highlights. The bed had a cozy mattress, with plenty of extra linen, there are two bathrooms, & the kitchen is fully stocked with cooking essentials. The town is a quaint throwback with little diners & antique shops should you decide to explore. More than any of this though , the owner & her property manager are so kind, accommodating & responsive. Will definitely be back!!!

Bring bottled water. The water had a strong odor, it was not drinkable. Sulfur? The view is as pictured. It is pretty. This rental is located directly behind another building. The chickens are only feet from the bedroom. Don’t plan on sleeping in, the chickens are early risers and are pretty verbal about it.

What a view

Stargazer is completely as advertised - cozy, comfortable, clean and celestial viewing is on par with some of the best places we've ever traveled. The amenities were above our expectations, so well stocked we needn't have packed many of the items we did. The seclusion brings a variety of wildlife for viewing from the back deck or from the large windowed rooms (including the bedroom). We went for the stargazing and watching the Perseid Meteor showers. Even with some weather challenges - we saw meteors on both nights we stayed (and sooo many satellites). The one instance we had to contact staff, we received a prompt and appropriate response. We had no real complaints (a few minor "wish this or that") - yet nothing that made our experience wish we had not booked and certainly enough plusses that we plan on booking again.

5 Star! Peace And Quiet, Great View

The property and cabin are beautiful and well maintained. The view of the night sky and sunrise is massive and wide open. The grounds are quiet and peaceful. Plenty of room for the dogs to run, comfy deck and furniture, great tv, nice, hot water, great fire pit and pond!

Relaxation

Cozy cabin with beautiful views. Enjoyed the wildlife daily, and the host was amazing and very helpful. Nice quiet serene get away for relaxing away from the rat race.

Quaint and quiet....perfect little hideaway

What a perfect place. Secluded, beautiful and cozy. Tucked away from everything. Only you and nature all around. We enjoyed everything about it. Shopping is only about a 15 minute drive, so not too far away, but far enough. The owner is very sweet and quick to respond and is helpful. Look forward to going back and would recommend to anyone who needs to regroup from the craziness of city life.

It's perfect

All the reviews are accurate, the pictures are as well. My husband and I stayed for our anniversary Oct 8-15. The Star Gazer was the perfect size for us. The cottage was clean, well stocked with towels, linens, and kitchen necessities. I thought the bed and pillows were very comfortable. I used the walking trails every day, and enjoyed the deck for sunrise every morning. There's chickens on property, but saw many deer everyday, and a fox on two days. The whole experience was relaxing and beautiful.

Beautiful view and comfortable property

Great place for a couple to stay! Comfy cabin with a gorgeous view that can't be beat----of mountains, pond, and local wildlife. Bed not too hard and not too soft. Friendly chickens and a lovely silver maple next door. Kitchen stocked with small appliances and nice stove. One and a half baths. Close to hiking and all kinds of outdoor adventures. Excellent communication with property owner. Definitely recommend.

If you are a nature lover this cottage is for you. 6 miles of private trails are easily accessible from the cottage. Abundance of wildlife and mature forest. The view is phenomenal day and night. The dark skies is a plus for stargazing. A great place for working from home/vacation
