Nauti rauhallisesta metsämökistämme Tennessee-joella Tennessee-joen rotkon sydämessä, josta on kauniit näkymät joelle ja rotolle ... Istu palokaivon vieressä ja katsele auringonlaskua paahtamassa vaahtokarkkeja tai kuumia koiria ... katsele proomuja, kajakkeja , ja veneet kulkevat ... tai hanhet, vesilinnut ja villieläimet. Kun olet kypsennyt grillilläsi, ruokailkaa tilavalla kuistilla, josta on näkymä joelle. Kokoa illalla ja pelata pelejä tai halailla tulen vieressä kirjan ja / tai rakkaansa kanssa. Tämä on rauhallinen paikka, jota ympäröi luonto kauneudellaan. Kajakki joen tai vaellus luontopolkuja Prentice Cooperin valtion metsään (osa Cumberlandin tasangolle). Nauti kaikki tämä 30 minuutin sisällä Chattanoogan keskustasta tutustuaksesi. Kolmen makuuhuoneen / 3 kylpyamme (kerrossänky ja parvi) nukkuu 14 ... majoittuvan perheen kanssa. Otamme mielellämme vastaan perheitä, lapsia ja lemmikkieläimiä (vaikka meidän on oltava tietoisia siitä, että se on joen rannalla - joten lasten ja lemmikkien turvallisuus on tärkeää).

Tennessee River Retreat

Had a wonderful stay with family! Enjoyed the majestic views of the mountains overlooking the tennessee river, while watching bald eagles, river otters, and wild turkey. Could not have asked for a better place to stay! Would absolutely go back and stay again!

River Cabin

Secluded getaway!

Stayed with a group of old friends plus our children for a long weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our time! The location provides the opportunity to split your time between the city and the country and truly get the best of both worlds.I have never had more attentive hosts than we did here -- so helpful and available. The cabin itself is clean and beautifully furnished. We got rained out during much of our stay, but still found time to sit outside to take in the view and watch deer, turkeys, and a pair of bald eagles. We would love to come back in warmer weather so we can take advantage of the water as well!You won't regret booking this gem!

Wonderful Trip

We had a wonderful trip and a great time. The cabin was off the beaten path and had a great pier to walk out into the river. Plenty of rooms and bathrooms and everything worked and went smoothly.

Quite Cabin

We enjoyed our stay. The house was exactly as described online. It was very quiet. Hardly any traffic down the horribly curvy road but it was nice. It took a long 30 minutes to get to anything, so make sure to get groceries and supplies before getting to the house. The river traffic was quiet too. We saw a couple of barges during our stay, which was neat.

Very nice

Very clean and beautiful. Well-stocked kitchen. My favorite was looking out the window at the river. The last leg of our trip was an 11 mile ride down a pretty bumpy road but it added to the adventure!

Great seclusion but access to Chattanooga

Everything was great for what we needed. 4 things one might not be prepared for, steep driveway I have 4wd so no big deal, rwd maybe stay at the top lot. 2 - Tennessee river had lots of algae around dock. Again I didn’t mind great for fishing but I was not jumping in. Not sure if this is seasonal, or what. 3- kids futon was squeaky, older son chose to sleep in loft, and lastly I could have used a couple more pots and pans but I was cooking for 7 and made due so not huge. Never had any problems and never had to call the owner. Very cool location - very calm and serene. I would go back and recommend. Thanks for the stay.

Wonderful getaway!

This was a lovely house and location. Very peaceful with lots of activities close by! We didn’t catch any fish except for the one that took the rod and reel for an adventure down the river. Thanks for sharing your beautiful oasis!

Absolutely Beautiful

This cabin was absolutely beautiful. Nestled along the banks of the Tennessee River tucked back into the gorge this property was newer, well maintained, and the perfect place for a family getaway. It was close enough to Chattanooga to do “in town” things but far enough away that there was peace and quiet. We couldn’t be happier with our stay or the owners. I would highly recommend this property fo anyone who wants to get away to beautiful Tennessee!

Amazing View

We had a great family get away for a long weekend. The view is amazing and the cabin is fully stocked with everything you need. Propane grill was a huge plus! We had a few needs upon arrival and the owner was super responsive and very sweet! We hope to return next year and make this an annual retreat! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing this wonderful space with us!

We were very impressed with this cabin, just as advertised, everything possibly needed was provided, very clean, beautiful scenery, comfortable atmosphere. Great area with spectacular views

The owner was extremely responsive. The house and views are beautiful! The description of the road in, is accurate. It's a long winding road. If you have any issues with motion sickness you'll need to prepare. The amenities provided in the cabin were more than expected. There are so many things to do all within driving distance, or just relax at the cabin. There are not a lot of games there but lots of movies if you want to watch (we did not, too busy exploring). We had a great time and recommend this as a vacation spot!

A great experience!

We so enjoyed our stay! The home was so nicely decorated for Christmas! Especially love the fireplace. Felt like home. On this stay, we had a crane visit our dock on the river two days in a row. It stayed for hours each day. Most amazing to see a Bald Eagle fly by - not something you see every day! We also saw the usual fish jumping out of the water, a beaver, and the occasional barge with a tug pushing it up/down the river. Lots of spaces to congregate (living room, kitchen, covered patio, fire pit) or get away (upstairs and downstairs rooms). Fishing off the dock is fun as well. Highly recommend!

Can I Live Here, Please?!

This cabin was absolute perfection! The layout of the house is perfect for multiple families and kids. The views are abundant and beautiful! The grand fireplace on the main level was one of my favorite things, and very easy to operate. My family and I sat by the fire, chatted, and played games all night long! Our group consisted of two sets of parents, one Nana, three 6-year olds, and one preteen. We were all comfortably accommodated with an entire cough to spare! There were plenty of towels, dishes, silverware, and glasses to go around as well! Do be advised, the majority of your driving (if you plan to go into town) is on a very curvy, poorly paved road. Motion sickness knocked out my daughter one day and it hit me on our last venture. Make sure to budget plenty of careful driving and time getting to and from. I would have loved to have done nothing more than stay at the cabin hunckered down with s’mores and hotdogs!

Amazing Property

We came to celebrate our sons 16th Birthday with a few of his friends. The boys had a blast playing manhunt in yard, it was great because no immediate neighbors and they could be as loud as they wanted. We enjoyed Ruby Falls, Incline Railway and Rock City. Property was fully stocked with items and linens. One recommendation is a baking dish would be great. Everything was clean and just as described. A couple of things that we noted that could be helpful is that the grocery store is an hour away and the road to the home is a good 30 minutes of a long rugged winding road. Once we got there and unloaded, we had zero desire to get back on the road. BUT Instacart did great at delivering our essentials took about 2 hours, but that was a huge plus. We didn't feel like loading back up and heading out to get dinner. Not many restaurants in the immediate area, but we were able to eat in Chattanooga and near our destinations. The property was well worth all of those recommendations. The view was amazing and we could all spread out and the kids could enjoy the downstairs with everything they needed! Very relaxing and exactly what we needed.

We needed a family getaway to relax and recover and this beautiful, clean and well equipped river house met every expectation, and some. Great views of the river from several areas outside and inside the house. Nice, solid, big deck and screened porch with gorgeous river views. There are stairs from the parking pad to the house and from the house down to the lake. House has really comfortable mattresses, soft towels, and extra pillows and blankets. Kitchen was well equipped, including dish soap, trash bags, condiments, coffee, etc. I read other's comments about buying the food before getting to the house. Glad we followed their advice. We overpacked, of course, but everyone had a great time. We rented a kayak from a company down the street (cash only), did some fishing, went hiking, ate smores and created new memories. Our pup waited patiently every morning for the goats to come by the neighbor's property so she could sneak out of the house, round them up, and send them right back across the street. She's our special fur baby who always makes sure our reflexes are top notch and we get our exercise in! Neighborhood is very quiet. The winding road leading to the house, along the river, is paved, but narrow and about 10 miles long. If you get car sick easily, bring an extra puke bag. We expected our son to throw up, but it was our fur baby who did it. She truly is special. Communication with Mike was great! Very responsive and accommodating. We had to call him when we arrived, around 9PM, to get the door code since we had no internet/phone service at the house. (fyi..there's T-Mobile service about 2 miles back and Mike'wifi works great!). Always take snapshots of access codes. I highly recommend this house to anyone looking for some peace and quiet, a stunning view, or a place to connect with family and friends over smores and stories by the fire.

It was a beautiful cabin! Great views! We enjoyed the fire pit, firewood was supplied!The driveway was a bit steep as someone else stated, but we made it and we were in a Murano SUV. The beds were comfortable and the loft and basement had their own AC units. So everyone was comfortable there. It is a long winding road to get to the cabin, from either direction you come in. So just get up in the morning and go on your excursions, and pick up food on way home for dinner! They have a gas grill with lots of propane refills. I guess my only complaint would be the towels, we had to wash those every day, but they do have a washer and dryer and supply detergent. I would definitely stay here again! Enjoy.
