Family vacation

Honestly, if you can’t get a room on the beach, you can’t beat this location. First floor with parking right in front of door. Trash area few steps around corner. Beach access is directly across the street so no long walks. Adorable beach decor, felt cozy. Loved the bedroom blankets and colors. No issues with cleanliness that I can offer. Water was hot, AC worked perfectly. All our needs were met for our meals from the kitchen. (Some were stating the baseboards were dirty but they were not that bad.. and is that really going to make or break a vacation? )I was told there were not any beach items available such as chairs or umbrellas…. However there were 4 chairs, an umbrella, noodles and a small cooler along with other beach items for the kids. Unsure if these were left from prior visitors but they were greatly appreciated and used everyday we went to the beach!A couple of suggestions for improvement would be to fix the ceiling fan in secondary bedroom. It made a loud creeking noise and shook a lot. Would have liked normal seating in back patio and not stools ( I get cold and wanted to warm up outside)All in all it was the perfect stay! Would definitely stay here again! Thank you for making our last vacation with our son who is entering the navy a memorable one!

Quick getaway

Not very clean the bed sheets and pillow cases were never changed it had real bad dirty stains and I have pictures even the curtains had real big stains the couches were very dirty the place was overall not clean at all and needs to be better if people are going to spend a lot of money luckily I brought my own pillow and blanket

The floors were pretty dirty. They also don’t supply you with basic needs like other units I have stated in. You get one garbage bag for a week stay.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We are big fans of the Alerio property. This was our third time in the complex and second time in this unit. It's a decent place to stay but shows some wear. The couches in the unit are very well-used and are no longer comfortable. The kitchen pot and pans have loose handles and need to be updated. Outside of those two things, we enjoyed our stay. The bed in the master is very comfortable, and we slept well. Access to the beach is outstanding for the price.

Great location and value. This unit is furnished nice and has most of what you need but needs some extra cleaning. Walls are extremely dirty, bathtub was still dirty with some cleaning powder residue, couches dirty and worn out. Community hot tub was not hot, in fact cooler than pool. Remotes didn’t work on some tvs, batteries missing. Whole community needs a little extra attention. Was big perfect size and value for 2 couples.

I enjoyed that the property was gated and convenient to the beach. Cons: The picture listed, shows the main building, directly located next to the road, as the building that the property is located in. However, there are three buildings and this property is in the back building. However, it was still close enough to be convenient. What I found disgusting was the overall cleanliness of this property. There were multiple rodent droppings throughout the kitchen and living room. Even after vacuuming, we found more later during our visit. There were candy wrappers tucked in the pull out bed-sofa, and underneath the sofa. We came home after dinner one night to several roaches on the wall in the kitchen. (This only happened once.) The linens provided in the master bedroom as well as the pull out sofa were heavily stained. I understand some stains will not come out, but these linens need to be replaced. Overall for the price, and location it was a decent property.

Alerio is a nice complex. I would not stay in unit E103 again. They need to clean better and need new beds. The towel holders were coming off the walls. There were bugs. Needs some attention to be a rental unit.

This is the second time at the property and first time in E103. It’s ok. The furniture is well worn and the master bed is a joke. One side of the bed is a hole compared to the other. It’s really inexcusable to have a bed in that condition in a place you are renting. We aren’t here to hang out in the condo but we are here to sleep in it and for the bed to be in this condition is ridiculous. The WiFi info from the company is not accurate, but we figured it out. Overall it’s ok but next time we’ll think really hard about this unit.

Decent condo and owners left beach toys which was great to have. Splash pad was broke and no maintenance people in sight due to Holliday. Pool opens late and closes early. The condo needs some TLC on high traffic areas, but all in all, not too bad for the price.

Very nice setup

The property was very nice. The features around the pool where very nice but none of them were working and don't look like they have been for quite some time. My room was on ground level was very clean outside of the roaches, That would come alive at night and when the lights were off.

Had a nice five days in Miramar Beach. Great access to beach across the street. Grocery store 1/4mile away with lots of other sites nearby. Beds were comfortable.

Review

The overall process was easy. Management team were great and responsive. Property location was fantastic. However the couch DEFINITELY needs replacing. Literally sitting on the coils of all the cushions. Squeaks every time you sit/move. Master Bed mattress sinks on both sides… one side was worse then the other. The place looked clean upon entry however the floors needed mopping. Remotes for the tv’s ( all 3 of them) weren’t synced and the mashing machine wasn’t working correctly and had a ton of sand. Again maintenance came out ASAP and fixed everything

January 2022 Stay

Definitely less than was expected. Couch and Loveseat both are in Very Bad shape and should be replaced. The dishwasher dry cycle is inop so they must be dried manually. King Bed mattress and topper are it bad shape and due for replacement! Bugs, Bugs, Bugs..... should have been serviced before our arrival. We tried to peacefully coexist with Raid but they like the kitchen area! Being here 8 weeks was a chore and we feel this is the Worst Rental we have experienced in 8 Snowbird Stays. Would not consider a return here unless Drastic Corrective Mearures were implemented!!! Cleanliness was sub par, even food on floor under furniture! Stink also, I think Dogs were on furniture or carpet! Wish We had nice compliments but.... The cooking pots, pans were replaced after we complained that the existing were a health hazard. Remotes needed batteries; DVD player was not connected to main TV. That about sums it up!

The Worst Vacation Rental I've Stayed At In Destin!

I have tried to reach out to the owners regarding my complaints but no one has contacted me which makes me truly upset on how they do not care and only wanted my money! Upon arrival my family was greeted by annoying pests. Small roaches were appearing in the kitchen, bedrooms and also in the bathroom areas (seems to be an infestation). This made me and family very uncomfortable and forced us to have to buy a can of roach spray to try and rid the insects. Secondly, we did not have toilet tissue in one of the bathrooms. We had to purchase a pack on our own. Also, the unit did not seem to be cleaned well, which should be top priority due to COVID-19. There were old blown out light bulbs left in the bedroom that were for the lamps. The bedroom lamps in the master bedroom do not work. Electrical outlets in the bedroom were not fully working. Master bathroom appeared to have unfinished white sheetrock patch up work to the walls with no paint covering. Sheetrock droppings was left all over the flooring in the bathroom. An old black garage bag left in the corner of the master bathroom looks appears unsanitary. There are no towel bars for guests to hang used towels. This has been my worse experience coming to Destin, FL as I have never stayed in a place that I was unsatisfied with. I come to Destin, FL at least twice a year and this was an experience that I did not want to ruin my love for the city. This experience has ruined my VRBO experience!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed the proximity to the beach being so close, but will stay somewhere on the beach next time to be able to enjoy the beach view from our condo as we didn’t have that with this condo.
