Fully furnished 3,500 sf single story (two interior steps to bedroom wing), three bedroom (a king and two queens), three bath home with great room and gourmet kitchen, located on serene one and a quarter acre lot in North Scottsdale. Step out the back door into a resort like setting with your own private pool (can be heated; see rules & policies), outdoor dining, views from the fenced yard into the open desert where you may see javelina, rabbits, quail, coyotes, bobcat, and other wildlife. Close to hiking, golf, cycling, with easy access to local shopping in Scottsdale, Carefree and Cave Creek. This home is a gem.

The perfect place for our family!!!

We loved every minute from the second we stepped foot into the beautiful haven outside of scottsdale. Our family loved the pool and the chance to relax and cook in their beautiful kitchen and outdoor patio. So close to the best MacDonald horse farm where we loved the horseback ride experience e. Easy access to a day trip to Camelback Mountain. Thank you for opening your beautiful southwest home!

Great communication!

We were very happy with the proximity of this rental related to the various daily excursions we made. The unit was fully stocked with everything we needed. Although in a neighborhood, it felt very private between fencing and plantings. The pool was well-maintained and a pleasure. The owner was in constant contact to ensure our satisfaction, and even made some adjustments for us remotely. Highly recommended!

Beautiful property- desirable location in North Scottsdale to take advantage of the best of golf, shopping, hiking & restaurants. House was immaculate, equipped with every amenity imaginable to insure a comfortable stay. Pool & property very well maintained. Pool area especially beautiful, with gorgeous desert landscape. Backyard paradise

The home is beautiful, but it was the backyard that we fell in love with. Quiet, relaxing, and peaceful! Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent location, amazing pool

The location is perfect for touring Scottsdale, kids used the heated pool twice a day. Well stocked kitchen with comfortable beds and bedrooms.

Amazing Property

This was the second time we've stayed in this home and hope to return on a future visit. The home is lovely, with a well-equipped kitchen (better than my own) and the owner has clearly thought about making guests comfortable.The yard is beautiful and private (great for sunset watching). The owner is quick to respond to questions and issues, and very easy to deal with.

Beautiful Property!

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. The main living area has a great view of the gorgeous patio and pool. It was very peaceful in the evenings to sit out by the pool and star gaze. The kitchen has everything you could need and the entire house is well stocked and very comfortable. Kirk was very responsive to any questions we had. We love the north Scottsdale area and its proximity to great golf courses, as well as great restaurants - Jalapeno Inferno and Nick's Italian are 2 of our favorites. Wonderful stay!

Enjoyable Property

We loved the quietness of the evenings and the beautiful outdoor area - absolutely beautiful cactus garden and lighting - the pool was a great way to conquer the summer temps. The property manager was very accommodating and attentive to any needs or requests we made . The property location was convenient for local shopping and dining.

I wish we could come back

This is a spectacular vacation home! The location in Scottsdale is perfect for hiking, golf, pickleball, shopping and any other activity you might enjoy. The gourmet kitchen is wonderfully appointed, the master suite is gorgeous, and the grounds, especially the pool cannot be beat. The host, Kirk, is very responsive to any needs that may occur. The only problem is that we are unable to return next year.

Wonderful open floor concept for kitchen / dining room / living room. Mattress in Master very comfortable. Kitchen modernization has everything a chef could want or use. The outdoor pool and landscaping absolutely a pleasure. Much better than staying at JW!

Great week of golf and relaxation

Loved this place! A small group of friends enjoyed this property as a home base for an incredible week of golf. Location is very convenient to world class golf and excellent dining options within minutes. We enjoyed the home and all accommodations. The back yard is an awesome retreat that I wish we would have spent more time enjoying. The home feels very comfortable and offers ample room for privacy if desired. The large kitchen provided a great gathering place at the beginning and end of each day. I highly recommend this home for a relaxing, fun filled getaway.

Good getaway

Very lovely house. The pool was excellent on the hot October days we were having. Kirk was a very gracious host and accommodated our early arrival. This location is a little far from things. This mostly worked for us (I got to go on some nice desert runs), but if you're looking for something closer to the city centers, be aware.

Perfect Vacation Spot

This was our fourth year renting this home. We love it! It's a traditional Arizona desert ranch with a wonderful pool! We hope to rent it next year too! Kirk, the owner is great! We love Arizona and once again we had a great stay at this home!

Relaxing getaway

This property exceeded our expectations in every way. The house is beautiful and the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need. The star of the show, however, is the resort style backyard. The landscape provides privacy and makes you feel a part of the desert. We even had a bobcat visit us while we were eating breakfast! Communication with Kirk was great. We hope to visit again!

While having lived most of my life in California (Go bears!), I spent several years as a child on a working cattle ranch in Oregon. I'm a CPA/financial analyst by trade, virtual CFO, forensics expert, still working on a remote consultancy basis. After the kids got out on their own I've rekindled an interest in photography (as you'll see images scattered about), nature and the ancient peoples of the Southwest.

First and foremost this is a home. The main living area is bright and open with a wall of windows opening to the inviting patio and pool. The kitchen and its substantial granite countertops as well as custom dining table for eight are built for entertaining. The backyard with its beautiful landscaping draws one outside for dining, swimming, lounging or just enjoying the sights and sounds of the desert.

The property is close enough to downtown Scottsdale/Phoenix to be able to take advantage of what they have to offer. Yet, far enough north so as to be able to enjoy the open space and access to Carefree and Cave Creek to the north. Local activities include cycling, horseback riding (5 minutes south), hiking, golf, shopping and dining.
