Kaunis "eurooppalainen mökki", sijaitsee rauhallisessa puutarhassa 3 km: n päässä Charlestonin keskustasta DuPontin naapurustossa. Erittäin yksityinen vapaasti seisova täysin kalustettu mökki, täysin varustettu keittiö ja oma kylpyhuone. WiFi ja kaapeli mukana. Suuri olohuone ja erillinen iso makuuhuone. Kaksi queen-vuodetta / lakanat kalustettu. Pesukone ja kuivaaja yksikössä.

Kaksi korttelia West Ashley Greenwaylle ja Stono River ICW: lle unohdetaan. Lähellä historiallisia puutarhoja, West Ashley Medical District. Yksi mailin päässä I-526.

Avaruus
Mökki DuPontissa sijaitsee itään moottoritieltä 17 Wappoo-tiellä, joka oli aiemmin historiallisen Kuninkaan moottoritien eteläpäässä, joka yhdisti Bostonin Charlestoniin. Enchanting and convenient

We just enjoyed a 5-night stay at this true oasis near downtown Charlestown. The apartment is even lovelier than in the images and the koi pond and garden are enchanting. Charlie and Rob were welcoming and very helpful with interesting suggestions for places to visit and dine. They are delightful to spend time with. We wish them well.

A little slice of heaven

Charlie and Rob have created a beautiful oasis of calm and comfort in West Ashley, (Charleston). The loft itself is wonderfully appointed and tastefully designed. The freshly ground coffee was delicious, as was the choice of wines, already in the wine rack. Our hosts were delightful company; relaxing with them at the koi pond was the perfect way to wind down after a long day exploring downtown Charleston. We loved their suggestions for restaurants and historic sites.Highly recommended!!

Fabulous

Charlie and Rob were perfect hosts. The loft apartment was amazing. It was a perfect respite from all of the graduation activities. From the moment we opened the door - we fell in love. For your info, not a problem for us -There are steps to navigate to the second floor apartment. There is a garden on the property that you can easily loose site of time just relaxing and enjoying. Wonderful and relaxing week!

We spent a week at Rob and Charlie's incredible carriage house on a park-like property in West Ashley. We had a rental car and loved the quiet location close to downtown Charleston but also close to historic sites like Middleton Place. Charlie and Rob were amazing hosts....so welcoming, gracious and helpful. The apartment is clean, spacious and tastfully decorated with a well equipped kitchen and bathroom. I definitely recommend this rental!

Lovely Retreat

What a lovely, secluded cottage that offers both privacy and relaxation. The garden and Koi pond were a welcome oasis after a day of touring in Charleston. An Amazing Stay!

It was such a joy to stay here - The hosts are wonderful and very inviting, full of great conversation, and you can tell they really care about community and connecting with others. The space itself is gorgeous, both inside and out. It was very clean, the pond of koi and the turtle are a beautiful way to relax without going anywhere. It's a great location - quiet, yet not far from shops and things to do. We lived the ability to walk right over to the greenway for a nice run, and still be able to hop in the car for a quick 10min into the downtown area. We will absolutely be back to stay in the future - one of the best experiences we've had so far!Thanks Charlie!

Perfect Location, Lovely Setting, Comfortable Accommodations

If you’re planning a stay in the Charleston area, we highly recommend staying here! It’s 15 minutes from the airport and only a 20-30 minute drive from some of the must-see locations, such as the aquarium, famous plantations, Fort Sumter Visitor Center and close to grocery stores, restaurants, etc. Our hosts were cordial and welcoming, and the home was in pristine condition. Charleston is a lovely city with so much history. Make sure you take one of the horse-drawn carriage tours!

First time visitors to Charleston

My husband and I loved this place! It was perfect for the 2 of us. We stayed here for a wedding that we were attending and it was a convenient location. The neighborhood was quaint. Charlie was a great host who was happy to have us hang out with him by the pond to chat. The unit was above the garage and was very clean. Charlie thought of everything as it was well equipped with pump soap in the bathrooms, plenty of fresh towels, laundry detergent, etc. We would definitely come back to this place. We've never been to Charleston and I was worried if the place would be as good as the pictures and it actually exceeded our expectations!! My husband and I said multiple times that we lucked out on this find!

The hosts and the property are truly one-of-a-kind! We instantly felt welcomed. Our hosts were warm, attentive, & familiar. The property was truly an oasis and well-loved. Charlie Smith and Rob Suli re-envisioned, redesigned and rebuilt both the main house on the property as well as what became the Cottage at DuPont from 2016-2019. Charlie is a City Planner by education and independent Real Estate professional by trade. Rob is a retired VA Benefits specialist.

Charleston's West Ashley area was actually the birthplace of the both the City of Charleston and the State of South Carolina. The DuPont community of West Ashley was one of the earliest populated areas on the West side of the Ashley River directly across from downtown.

The 10 mile long West Ashley Greenway was once the right of way for the Charleston and Savannah Railroad chartered in 1854. The Cottage is located one block south of the Greenway along what was once the southern end of the Kings Highway.

Downtown is just across the river, but if you want to visit Magnolia or Middleton Gardens, walk the greenway or just stare out across a gorgeous Intracoastal waterway view you can do that right here in West Ashley on your own schedule. All of these options are between 2 and 15 minutes away. Folly Beach is about 20 minutes away.

The Cottage at DuPont is the perfect place for a private Charleston get away, whether for a few nights or a few months. The owners always enjoy conversation with guests, but they also respect guest privacy.

Our guests can relax and enjoy a 1064 square foot home that sleeps four people with plenty of living area. The property has an awesome kitchen and living area where friends can share a meal and some quality time together. There's also a drop-leaf table and wi-fi if you need to get some work done while you're here.

Sitting by the pond in the morning with a cup of coffee or enjoying a glass of wine there in the afternoon is a great way to relax. If you're lucky, our very shy red-eared slider, Hoity Toity, may grace you with her presence. If Rob and I are in the garden come join us.
