Vain muutaman askeleen päässä Michigan-järven kiehtovasta kauneudesta, Bluffs Cove tarjoaa vertaansa vailla olevan rauhallisuuden ja rentoutumisen. ABSOLUTELY BREATHTAKING!

This was the most stunning property we have ever stayed at! The view and private beach access is worth every penny they charge!!! We will be coming back year after year! As far as the spotty service that was a blessing in my eyes. No one was on their phone other than to take pictures. We were there to make memories not be attached to our phones. I cant stress enough how beautiful the view is at this property!

Beautiful View

Great little spot to relax!

Great home for a small family to enjoy Lake Michigan together. Cozy cottage on a corner lot. Beautiful sunset views from the front rooms and porch. Enjoyed sitting around the fire at dusk listening to the waves crash below. The hot tub is enjoyable and it is nice to be just a few steps up from the beach. Perfectly situated between Saugatuck and South Haven so there is lots of great restaurants and shopping just minutes away. That's if you actually want to leave this little slice of heaven though.

Wonderfully relaxing

Stunning views, quiet location, house was very clean and well-stocked. Only 3 things to note for property owner: hot tub had perhaps too much chlorine in it-the smell was overpowering, no wifi or tv connection-actually was a refreshing change for us but might be an inconvenience for others, also sliding back door is very difficult to open and close. But gorgeous property!!! We will return!

Cozy cottage with a breathtaking view!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! We enjoyed looking for and finding Petosky stones, relaxing in the hot tub, and just soaking in the view. There were a few minor things that could’ve been improved, like: there weren’t any oven mitts or hot pads, the furnace was loud when it kicked on (needed a noisemaker to sleep at night), and the hot tub water was about a foot low. Other than that everything was great! So thankful for this getaway:)

Beautiful view

It was such a quaint little home with a stunning view and relaxing hot tub! It needed cleaned better after last guest (we were covered in dog hair after sitting on couches) also no internet at all. We couldn’t listen to music, watch tv or even look up any local attractions because we had no internet or cell service. Beds were not the most comfortable. It is really just the view location and hot tub that win!

Great View!!

We really enjoyed our stay. The fire pit and hot tub were great additions and the use of the gas grill. The view was amazing, it felt like we were at the ocean not a lake!! The only thing I have a complaint about was the bed. It seemed smaller than a queen and it was hard and not comfortable. I’d say you need bigger softer bed! We would still rate this place a 10 and recommend it to friends and family.

Stunning Views But Needs TLC

The location and views are amazing but the home needs attention. We loved the amazing evening sunsets and listening to the crash of the waves. We had a great time and home was stocked with everything you’d need for cooking, grilling and bon fires. Appreciated the wood that was left for fire pit. That being said, the home needs a deep clean and some refurb: fresh paint inside, new flooring (dirty carpets), repair to cabinets and heat registers (falling off), and plumbing improvements (tub not draining properly, clogged shower head).

Gorgeous view!

The view alone was almost worth the cost for a long weekend at Bluffs Cove. The fence that should be there for safety could easily be pushed or just fall over and tumble into Lake Michigan taking anyone one near it with them. We brought our own food to grill Friday night only to find that not only did the grill not work but it the gas wouldn't turn off. The exterior of the house is in need of paint and some TLC. The interior at first glance seemed cleanly but once we entered we couldn't help but be taken aback by the exterior of the fridge which looked like someone smeared rust all over it. One couch had a large daunting stain on it. The sink in the bathroom would not drain properly and there were random tissues under the bed. We enjoyed our stay because of the company we were in but I would hesitate to spend the money for what we actually got.

Rodents in the home & dirty

This property is dirty & inaccurately described as clean! The living room screen door & bathroom screens are rusty, falling apart. Any slight push to open/use it & it felt like it would fall off. Vents filled with rust, debris & dust. Spiderwebs & bugs everywhere outside. Outdoor chairs look moldy. Patio flooring is unsteady with some nails sticking out. Stained musty carpets & couches. Shower tub is yellow stained & generally stained. Stressful stay with our family & kids. Not worth the price and views. We will not rent again. Please clean & update & get rid of rodents.

Perfect location but needs some TLC

The location of this property and the views can't be beat. It definitely needs some TLC on the inside though. We also had two power outages during a four day stay, including the entire first night. It appeared many other houses in the area had generators so wonder if this is a common thing and if so should be noted in the listing.

Good little cottage

This is a great location next to the lake and a cute little cottage. However some maintenance is needed on the sliding glass doors, they are hard to open and close. Love the access to the lake. Hot tub was great. A downside is with the fees you pay for cleaning I feel like the cleanliness fell short. We had mouse droppings upon arrival on the counter and stove, fruit flies flying around as well as significant amount of spiderwebs and spiders collecting said fruit flies. All in all location is great but some things to be spruced up.

Sunsets

This property is a treasure. The house is at a dead end, giving enormous privacy to us as guests. There are multiple amenities such as a great fire pit, a grill with two tanks of propane, a hot tub, patio seating, access to wifi and streaming services. Some things are dated but this contributes to the charm and the home owners are clearly making efforts to update the property. There is a brand new coach with doubles as extra seating, new bar stools and new dining room chairs which brighten up the space. Our biggest complaint is that the sliding doors are very difficult to open. Lubricant at the top and the base would be super helpful. And the kitchen towels need to be replaced. having a stack of kitchen towels would cut down significantly on the number of paper towels we had to use.

Beautiful views

The location of the house is amazing. The view from the house and desk is perfect! Unbelievable sunsets! The house could have been a bit cleaner. The cookware, dishes, & silverware all had to be cleaned by hand and were fairly dirty. If you plan to cook a lot at this house I’d recommend brining some extra pots and pans as the house doesn’t have a huge selection and the ones they have are in rough shape. Not a huge deal, we made it work. The blinds in the living room are broken so be mindful of that if you have people sleeping in the living room. We were only left with one trash bag besides the one in the trash can. Wouldn’t recommend this house for elderly people or people with mobility issues because of the stairs getting down to the beach. It’s really rocky getting off the steps to the sand area. Besides these small inconveniences, my family enjoyed our stay!
