Property was hard to find. Gsp doesn't take you to the house. Stops on main road. There was no sign with the house number on the road.

Total disappointment

The description of this listing is way off. The map is basically useless finding the cabin. Doesn't state it's up a winding one way road barely wide enough for 1 vehicle which we were almost ran off of trying to find the cabin. At the turn onto the gravel portion of the road the right side of the road is severely washed out and impossible for a regular car to go up. We ended up renting a different cabin from another host. I will never book with Vacasa again

Convenient location and a great view

The view is amazing. It was just like the pictures. The house was clean when we got there. It was hard to find at first but we were able to use the written directions from the check in instructions. Definitely would stay here again.

Absolutely more than expected

This was more than I expected. Location was easy to find and the view was amazing! Will definitely book this cabin again.

Reasonable cabin with a great view

This cabin is within Townsend. All necessary amenities were there. It is perfect for a getaway. We had four adults and had plenty of room. This cabin had not been updated, but that has helped it keep a reasonable nightly rate. If you want peace and quiet, this is a great cabin.

Almost Heaven - beautiful view/not so beautiful cabin

The view was awesome. Directions were a little vague. The cabin could use some major updates and a good thorough cleaning.

Tiny cabin, spectacular mountain views!

This cabin is perfect for 1-2 people who plan to spend most of their time either on the porch staring at the mountains, or out exploring the area. There unfortunately wasn’t any local tv available or wifi but there was plenty of service to use phones. The views make up for it though!

It is a quaint house, couch needs replaced, hot tub was not working:(. The little yard needed weedeated, Bathroom is small but nice and clean, no dishwasher but I don’t mind washing a few dishes :), the washer and dryer in the below area was a No for us, it had items laid across it and they were dirty so we just brought home clothes to wash. Kids do not need to be on the rails hanging or leaning to heavily on, they need stabilized. Bring all the condiments you need from salt and pepper to other things, it is not stocked like some of the other cabins. Work has been done on it and the view is beautiful:) beware of driveway, it’s like a one lane road and steep, we only met someone 1 time and they backed up. For the money I would give it a 4, for the cleanliness of outside 2, cleanliness of Inside 4. We had a good time and enjoyed the view, the property manager was quick to respond and got us in early. I really wish the hot un had worked. But I think I have been very fair and honest on my review :)

Nightmare

Do not rent. The same issues that are reported months ago still have not been fixed. Management company runs property. They do nothing. Gave me cleaning fees back and booking. It is discussing.

Needs Some TLC

Hot tub never never heated up. Followed directions. Still never worked. Carpet needs to be replaced. It's really, really nasty. The BBQ grill was falling apart. The cabin is beautiful and has a great view. In need of little TLC.

Do not stay here!!!

Cabin is almost in disrepair. Hot tube does not work, porch is being pulled down because of the weight of the hot tube. Sheets were not washed. Furniture was old, uncomfortable, and falling apart. Cabin leaked and door would barely lock… either pay a little more and go somewhere else, until the company fixed this cabin, do not stay here….

Poorly maintained

Vacasa sent me an early check in stating it was ready, it wasn’t. When it was finally ready, it was not clean. There was dust caked on the ceiling fan, beams, door frames, and walls. The whole cabin smelled badly like mold and mildew, a note was left on the hot tub saying it was out of order and empty, the property had a lot of damage. Cracked bathroom window and sink, kitchen cabinets damaged and broken along bottom, hole in carpet covered by another badly cut piece laid across hole with paper towels folded under it, hole in screen door, the carpet was stained and had a really dirty feel on your feet. It was poorly maintained and very dirty. We were disappointed with the cabin and the rental company because all they did was say they were sorry. I was still charged a hot tub fee for a hot tub that didn’t work and a cleaning fee when it doesn’t look like anything was cleaned aside from new sheets being put on the beds.

Could have been better

Upon arrival we bought $150. Of food. Ice cream. Milk. Eggs. Deli meat. Ect. Upon arrival we got to the cabin and the refrigerator seemed not cold. I read the welcome information saying the refrigerator could not seem as cold but will be fine in a few hours. Come Saturday morning the refrigerator was still not cold. Ice cream had melted. Everything spoiled. I called maintenance and they sent someone out. They did we did get a loaner refrigerator which did work. I did ask for a refund of the food I lost and haven't heard back from Vacasa. The carpet was kinda gross. The view was amazing. The deck needs some repairs. The hottest is sinking the deck. Which is scary. The blinds need updated. One blind fell off when I went to pull it down. The toilet started leaking on Sunday. Needless to say we left a say earlier the planned because of all the frustration. I have reached out Vacasa and haven't heard anything about Hopefully getting some sort of reimbursement. Great view though.

Unfortunately we were only there for one night before having issue with the water and Vacasa acted very quickly to move us to another cabin. This was a cute little very rustic cabin. Had a beautiful view. It is secluded in the woods if that is what you are looking for. We enjoyed the one afternoon and evening we were there. Sort of like glamping in this one.

I would not stay here if I were you ! This place smells like cats and dogs bad and had a lot of bugs !! Very uncomfortable!!! I had an allergic reaction and my whole eye is swollen up !! If you have allergies I would definitely NOT book this

Nice and tidy little cabin, beautiful views and setting - Vacasa managed though…

Great spot just outside of Townsend. We go down a couple times a year to hike and fish. We were pleasantly surprised at the property, some previous reviews made it sound not too appealing, but was clean and perfectly fine. Only issue is that the property is managed by Vacasa, which I thought wasn’t allowed by Vrbo. The Vacasa check in and “Identity verification” is clunky and seems like a scam. They threatened to cancel my reservation because I didn’t answer the scammy sounding call and voicemail - even though I booked and paid through Vrbo.

Almost Heaven needs some work

Overall I give 4 of 5 stars. It’s is a diamond in the rough. The setting is gorgeous- views are amazing. The road to get to the cabin is not the stairway to heaven. The cabin itself is wonderful. The hot tub is not working and we were not notified of this prior to arrival. Again views are heavenly, thus the name fits. More trash bags and towels would have been great. Also needs some extra/throw blankets for the cold season. The fireplace gives a wonderful ambiance. Would stay again.

Don’t waste your money.

Dead bugs all over the place upon arrival including on furniture, beds and in cabinets on “clean”dishes. Furniture was incredible uncomfortable. Couch was covered in sticky stuff and recliner was broken. Beds were very uncomfortable. We didn’t get restful sleep the whole trip. Carpet was stained and disgusting. The cabin was generally outdated. For the price we paid I expected ALOT more comfort. Everything was so gross and uncomfortable that I was not able to relax. Waste of money.

I wish that I had looked at the reviews before booking. The entire house smelled like dog and pee. It was one of the worst smells I have ever experienced. We had to sleep with the doors open it was so bad. There were bugs everywhere when we got there. I messaged them and was told that the local staff was coming to help with the cleaning and smell and no one showed. Hot tub was broken which was one of the main reasons we wanted to stay there. We will not be coming back. The view was pretty but I will never stay in a place that is dirty like that again. You can tell the place didn’t get cleaned before we came. There was hair all over the bathtub, dirt around the sink, bugs in every area of the house and the smell was absolutely disgusting. For as much as we paid to stay here you would think it would be clean.
