Löydät joen elämän parhaimmillaan, kun yövyt tässä hiljattain rakennetussa loma-asunnossa, joka sijaitsee luonnonkaunis Annisquam-joen rannoilla Gloucesterissa. Yksityiseltä terassilta viehättävät upeat auringonlaskut ja veneiden paraati, kun ne purjehtivat, moottoripyörät tai meloa.

Annisquam River Sunsets on mukava yksitasoinen ja ilmastoitu huoneisto, joka on suunniteltu helppoa elämää varten. Seuraa pysäköintialueelta lyhyttä tietä pienellä rinteellä yksityisen ranta-sisäänkäynnin päälle kiinteistön takana. Viihtyisässä olohuoneessa on runsaasti istumatilaa ja se avautuu moderniin keittiöön ja ruokailutilaan. Aivan oleskelutilan ulkopuolella on kaksi tilavan kokoista makuuhuonetta ja kylpyhuone. Huomaa, että ystävälliset omistajat asuvat erillisessä yläkerran yksikössä.

Siellä on runsaasti ulkotilaa rentoutumiseen ja nauttimiseen kesätuulasta ja mahdollisuuksista ruokailla ulkosalla. Ui joessa, kajakki hiekkarannalle, kalaa raidalle, kaivaa simpukat tai nauti vuoroveden rannasta. Kesäkodista pääsee helposti moottoritielle ja lähiliikenteen rautatielle päiväretkille. Se on vain muutaman mailin päässä Gloucesterin kauniista rannoista, Good Harborista ja Wingaersheekistä.

Kylpy 1: Täysi kylpyamme suihkulla. Pihalle on myös ovi pestävä heti joessa uinnin jälkeen. Pesukone ja kuivaaja sijaitsevat tässä huoneessa.

ULKOPUOLI

Ranskalaiset ovet avautuvat terassille ja graniittiportaat, jotka virtaavat alas nurmettuneelle pihalle ja alas laiturille.

Kahden auton tandem-pysäköinti lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä asunnon patio-sisäänkäynnistä.

This property is perfectly suited for families that want beautiful sunsets, water views and boating activities. The owners are sweet and responsive to all questions. We look forward to returning next year.

Beauty right in front of us…

What a lovely place to stay. It has the warm personality of the owners who were quick to introduce themselves and share with us all the features of outside and all that could enjoy. The view is so calm and lovely. Each day there was something new to see , from the lovely flowers to the rock garden to the sunset to the mist over the water. We felt tended to, but alone. It was a nice combination. This new place for us was a hidden gem in our book (as was all of Gloucester.) Mass!

Not the best for families

We enjoyed our stay for our first family vacation, however, I don’t think this location is best for families with young children. Our girls are one and two years old and this location wasn’t ideal in terms of kids who are early walkers, need a lot of engagement, and safety parameters. First, the apartment is on the lower level with a lot of stone stairs to reach the entrance. The steps are far too large for a child to scale on their own and quite frankly, dangerous if they fall. Those same steps are off the back patio to climb through the gardens towards the dock to the river. A child of our kids ages wouldn’t be able to do this on their own and again, the steps and dock were extremely dangerous for an infant/early toddler. The river is beautiful, calm and a serene area. With high and low tides, you really only get a beach area to play for a few hours at midday. The other times of day, you can’t have a child out there playing unless they’re swimming since the water is over their heads. There’s otherwise no “beach” access. The location is a destination on its own, if you plan to stay there the entire stay, it’s no problem. We wanted to see sights, go to other beach areas, try local restaurants, go shopping and this location was far from literally everything. It was a lot of car time for our family, on top of the 7+ hour ride there and home. I wish there was at least one thing, whether a restaurant or sight to see within walking distance. There’s no bathtub. There’s a walk in shower with a wand attachment for the shower head. Thankfully that wand made bathing our kids possible. The owners of the property also live directly above you. They’re very friendly and welcoming but with screaming kids, kids who sometimes don’t sleep through the night, or kids who wake up extremely early, we felt bad knowing people were above us. They were also very attentive to us, and we would’ve preferred to not be on anyone’s radar. My husband and I both agreed, the location for couples is lovely. For families, I’d find something else.

A FIRST CLASS PLACE

This is the nicest apartment I've ever rented. A delightful location right on the Annisquam River. The place is very clean, and comfortable with everything you may need. The only thing to be aware of......the second bedroom has 2 bunk beds, (twin size) and that bedroom has no windows. The master bedroom is very nice with a queen bed and a window looking over the river.

An absolutely beautiful spot to retreat to while exploring the north shore. Whether alone or as a family, this property provides the perfect north shore vacation.. The views are stunning and each day provides something new to experience on the River or near by. The owners are lovely and respect your space but also provide nudges and tips for spots to visit. Full of great recommendations. The location is perfect for exploring Gloucester, Rockbay and other local areas. Lots of choices and options for the family. The sunsets and sunrises are breathtaking.

Beautiful

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay. Our takeaways were: 1) bring bug spray deep woods (for marsh no see-ums) if you go without it would be difficult to enjoy early am or sunset kayak trips. 2) property HAS kayaks for your use. Do not be fooled by the property manager trying to rent them to you. 3) the owners were lovely! 4) bring kitchen staples so you don’t have to buy literally everything. Meaning salt and pepper, sugar, coffee etc. All kitchen tools were provided. If you book this, you will have a lively time!

Spectacular Views

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Annisquam River Sunsets lives up to its name with a show most nights! The tidal river gives a unique and special experience of the natural world. The apartment is beautiful and convenient, with a well-equipped kitchen and views from all windows. The patio and outdoor space added to the spacious and enjoyment. The gardens are their own attraction! owners are wonderfully hospitable and friendly, but always respectful of privacy. A side note: there are stone steps from the path leading to the apartment entrance. We would definitely stay there again.

Best place ever!

If I were to write 1000 pages, I could never do this property justice. It has everything, there was not one thing missing. This home is a fun, clean, beautiful, relaxing, treasure. The view was stunning, the gardens were spectacular, the dock was so much fun, and then after the day was over, the sunset NEVER disappointed! But the thing I'll miss most are the wonderful hosts, they were really special people whom my family and I will always remember.. If you want to get off this crazy roller coaster of life for a while, this is the place to do it!

A very relaxing long weekend

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: What a beautiful place! Jump right off the dock at high tide or enjoy the beach feel when it's low tide. Couldn't believe that I never got a single mosquito bite and there was no low tide smell - it must be magic! Owners live upstairs and were very attentive. Immaculate place. The only thing we could possibly say is that we wish the air conditioning came on a bit stronger at first, but there were fans and it was the perfect temp for our long weekend. Beautiful large kitchen to enjoy cooking, spacious bathroom, netflix and HBO on the TV...would love to go back!
